Racing Heart

THIRD POV

Aizen took another book from his luggage, choosing it over the two books he packed for his one-night trip. He isn't into romantic stuffs, but because the book is trending lately, he bought it just in case the plot piqued his interest.

"How boring is it? "I went on a trip, but the first thing I do is stay all night in my hotel room to read books." He chuckled, but still headed to the couch with the book he was going to read.

He packed his snacks and drinks ahead of time so that he wouldn't be bothered by buying snacks while reading. Aizen isn't one of those normal lads who stay outside and do nothing but useless things; instead, Aizen prefers to stay in his room to read, listen to music, and sleep.

That's his life cycle; no wonder he's the best in his class.

Aizen then began reading the book, enjoying his alone time.

But then he suddenly missed the chance to finish Chapter One when he heard a loud shout outside his room, annoyingly he stood up to lock his door when he heard...

"Please, Tallie, let me explain!" a guy shouted from outside the room, and Aizen, without realizing it, was now opening the door to take a quick peek outside."

"What the—-?" Aizen said in disbelief when he spotted the girl earlier from the elevator, sitting on the hotel corridor weak.

"Tallie—-" a guy the same height as Aizen was about to approach Tallie when Tallie stood up with her eyes about to cry, he then faced the guy, and Aizen didn't expect what Tallie did, she slapped the guy and began walking.

"Bruh that was one—-" Aizen came to a halt when his gaze met Tallie's; it was as if Tallie's eyes were begging for help, but he couldn't move from where he was, so Tallie sadly lowered her head and began walking inside the elevator.

Aizen's heart began to race fast, as he slammed the door, holding his chest and breathing deeply.

"What the heck was that?" he mumbled.

Aizen decided to go downstairs after how many minutes of thinking, he took his jacket and the book on his hand and went outside, the hotel hallway was now silent, and there were no people around. Aizen was still thinking about what had happened earlier as he walked slowly to the elevator, one hand in his pocket and the other swinging the book.

Then, after a few minutes Aizen arrived downstairs, he looked around as though looking for someone.

"Aizen, keep your head up together will you!" he said.

Aizen knows he's looking for that girl named "Tallie" from earlier, but he denies it.

He then walked to a convenience store outside the hotel and bought two beers before heading to the beach. Sitting on the sand by himself, he took a deep breath and a sip from the beer he bought.

"I hope she's okay..." Aizen worried as he observed a silhouette of a girl approaching her.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT A GHOST!?" WHAT A WHITELADY! " Aizen was about to run for his life when he was touched by a cold hand.

'FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK IM SORRY LORD, ILL VALUE LIFE NOW PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!'

Aizen yelled, with eyes shut, shaking as he was terrified.

After Aizen's scream, the silent shoreline was filled with laughter; Aizen then opened his eyes to just see Tallie laughing at him.

"H-hi..." Aizen stuttered, blushing because of embarrassment.

"Hi!" Tallie smiled as she greeted him.

The world began to slow on Aizen's perspective...

The lovely smile Tallie is giving him right now...

The cold touch on his arm, the cool breeze, and the sound of the waves...

Was the reason of Aizen's racing heart...
