My name? That wasn't apart of the deal.

Erik

That girl is beautiful in every right. Suddenly her and the horse disappear. She will be back at dawn. So I must wait.

Night Rider

"Bravo Monsieur. You have found it." I said. No that's not good enough. It will have to do it's almost dawn. I just finished with that barber. I ride back to my home as the sun starts to rise. He stands there proud. Shadow stops and I dismount. My boots crunch a little on the hay. "What is your real name?" he asked. "My name? that wasn't apart of the deal." I said feeding Shadow. "You said I would know you." He said. "Erik. With Immortals a name is power. With the name of someone you can entrance them kill them. I know. I hold yours. Words are powerful things. You can yell and scream and question and beg but you can not unsay something. The words may be forgotten or explained but still they were spoken." I said. "What can I call you?" he asked. "Night Rider, Night or Rider will suffice." I said. He reminds me of..... no I mustn't think of him.

Erik was really nice. "I'm certain you're an Immortal. But what. I hope you're a god. Or anything but a dark Elf. I dated one a while back. Worst idea I ever had." I said. He laughed. "You're not like other girls Night." He said. I laughed. "I pride myself on that. You're not like other guys Erik. for one you made me laugh." I said.

He often came before I made my rounds then stayed long after they finished. One day he wasn't where he normally was. Then I heard the organ playing. I climbed down the hidden steps. He finished the song. "Beautiful." I said. "I'm sorry. I saw the organ and I....." he started. "No it's okay. You played wonderfully." I said. "Who is that?" he pointed to a portrait. "I'm sorry I need a minute." I ran up the stairs. I let the tears flow. Alfonzo oh Fonzie. I miss you. "Night I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." He sat next to me. "No it's just. He was my best friend. We were practically joined at the hip." Then I broke down crying. He held me until I calmed down. I heard a crash and the sound of hissing. "Damn." I stood up and grabbed a sword. I ran down to see vampires flooding into my lair. "Double damn." I said grabbing a sword. "Swearing shouldn't be on a lady's lips." Erik said. I sliced vampire after vampire and narrowly dodging their blows. As the last one fell I yelled "All right Death Bringer get your ass up here."

Raven, The Death Bringer, Queen of Death walked in cautiously. "They're gone thank the father. I'm sorry Knight but they are rebelling." My blood sister said. "And they go for the weakest. Eek!" I said as my leg gave way. Raven caught me. "Damn damn damn! Mom! Help!" I yelled. My mother, Night appeared. "What's wrong my dear?" My mom said. "Vampires hurt my leg. I need water from the fountain." I said. My mom looked at me coldly "no. You know that the Father forbade it." "Please. I could die. Hundreds of people could die because I can't save them." I said. "No. I'm sorry you know the rules." She said and left.

I was crushed that me The Night Rider, Night Savior, Queen of Shadows was helpless. I hated that. "Do I know you?" Raven asked Erik. "I don't know." He said. "Yeah I do. You're a dead god. Which one I don't know." She said. "You sure Rave?" I asked. "Yes. I just got an idea. Your mom said she can't take you. What if we were checking if Erik is (was? anyway) Fonzie?" She said. "That could work. He drinks first then I heal my leg." I said. Raven took us to her domain, me hobbling along.

"None shall pass." The guardian said. "We wish to break the curse." Raven said. She gave him her kicked puppy look. "Fine." He said. Erik helped me along. The Fountain of Life is, basically, a statue of the goddess of rebirth with water flowing from her raised fingertips into a golden basin. A golden cup sat at the basin's edge. Erik leaned me against Raven and filled the cup to the brim. When he finished drinking a golden blinding light surrounded him.
