Edward picks up Bella for school. He's a wearing a sweater and the fabric clings to his perfectly muscled chest. Exact words (again).

In class, Bella feels uncomfortable to talk to her friends because she knows Edward, from a different part of the school, will be listening to their conversations by reading her friends' minds. This is equivalent to a boyfriend who demands to read your texts, in my opinion.

In the lunchroom, Bella and Edward talk about their upcoming plans to go to Seattle, and Edward asks if she'd like to change plans. Instead, he will show her what happens to him in sunlight. Thrilling, I'm sure. Edward tells Bella she needs to let her dad know they'll be together, so that Edward will have at least a small incentive to bring her back home.

They talk about blood while eating pizza, because who doesn't do that, and Edward says his favorite is mountain lion. Bella wants to watch him bite an animal (GIRL???!!!WHY???!!) But Edward gets hostile, because what else would he do, and says that will never happen.
