Y/n was currently walking back to the house,  flexing his healed hand. " do I heal a little faster now?.." y/n muttered to himself.

"Y/n!!!!"

Y/n looked up braced himself to avoid falling as luz barreled into him.

"Jeez  hermana I was gone for like 20 minutes.." Y/n grunted as he looked down at his sister.

" you could have waited for me before you went exploring." Luz  pouted detaching from him.

"And you do know the forest isn't something you explore without some back up right?" Eda spoke making her presence known as she looked at y/n with a raised eyebrow.

" I can't take care of myself Eda, i Just read something from one of your books, thought it might be worth checking out." Y/n said holding the strap of his backpack.

"Ooh shiny!" King said as he had managed to sneak up y/n and peak into his bag. " gimme, gimme!"

"Ey, calmate (calm down/cool it) "Y/n said gently grabbing king and holding up in air jail. " that thing is sharp."

"Sharp?" Eda questioned with narrowed eyes.

"Oooo, you found loot?! Cmon show us!" Luz said bouncing on her fear eager to see a magical artifact.

Y/n took off his backpack and he reached in revealing the demon fang to everyone.

"Cooool." Luz spoke with wonder in her eyes. " it's like a rare weapon in an RPG! Lucky." Luz said with a pout. " you always find the cool stuff." Luz said as whenever they played video games he always found something cool while she needed YouTube videos.

"My Squire acquires a new weapon and with it my kingdom grows stronger!" King cheers as he is now perched on y/Ns shoulder.

Eda however was in worried mom mode though she would never admit it. " y/n, where did you get the demon fang?"

"Oh you know it? The book was kind of dusty when I read it." Y/n chuckled assuming Eda didn't really do much reading despite her clear capabilities. "  I just did some digging and found it in the forest, had to follow a little ritual and well out it popped."

"Wait are you telling me I could have found it!?  Ugh...so unfair!" Luz whined.

Y/n chuckled and pat his little sisters head. " hey you at least seem to have a grasp on magic, I needed something."  Y/n said with a smirk. " maybe you'll have a magic staff one day like azura."

"Hmmmm I hope so." Luz pouted.

The group had taken it well though Eda had pulled him to the side when king and luz went back in the house.

"The Demon Fang,  the heck were you thinking!?" Eda questioned with disapproval.

"What you mad for? You're acting like a let a demon on the loose." Y/n asked confused why he was getting pressed like this.

"Did you ever stop to think why such a little weapon was left untouched for years despite how easy it was to get your hands on it?" Eda questioned.

Y/n...actually hadn't considered that. " uh...welll no." Y/n said scratching his head.

"I got two words for you, dark, magic." Eda said firmly. " black arts forbidden from ever being practiced, the kind of magic belos uses to keep a grip on the boiling Isles, the kind of magic I'm cursed with." Eda explained with growing irritation.

"Oh..." y/n said looking at his dagger, admittedly with a name like demon fang he should have assumed that to be the case.

"Yeah, oh! Sheesh kid it's bad enough you're taking it's for luz we don't need black magic putting you in more of a mess." Eda scolded.

"Ok look Im sorry, I got caught up in the excitement ." Y/n said  taking accountability. " but it can't be that bad I mean  I followed the figured out the ritual and I'm still here,  bad vibes  or anything." Y/n said wanting Eda to look on the bright side though he continued when Eda seemed unconvinced, " hey let's look at it this way, it's my hands and not belos, and worst case scenario we can lock this thing away and bury it forever, but I'm fine eda, I have to be, for her." Y/n spoke honestly, he needed to protect Luz that hadn't changed.

Eda looked at y/n and sighed. " alright kid, I trust you, just.....be careful, there's a lot of myth surrounding that dagger, and none of it good, I just don't want you to end up like me, or worse." Eda said with a gentle expression. " swear you'll tell me or your sister if something's up." Eda ordered.

Y/n nodded and crossed his heart. " I swear."

Eda smiled, satisfied for now"Good, now cmon, let's eat something and find out more about this dagger."

Y/n chuckled and looked at the dagger, mystery weapon or not for not he wasn't that worried.

Oh but I would be... The Demon Fang  was a dark weapon indeed... and while I wasn't a Sith Lord like palpating and granted unlimited power it was clear there was more to this dagger than met the eye but more on that later.

Life in the isles proceeded as normal....well normal for the isles I guess...  luz was learning more by the day, I was happy she was taking it so well, heh she had even " revealed" her little situation with amity soon enough as well as her personal truth.

"IM BI AMD AMITY IS MY GIRLFRIEND!" luz blurted out

Y/n stared and then chuckled going back to cleaning his dagger. " I'm happy for you sis."

"W-wait that's it!?" Luz asked in utter confusion, this was not the reaction she was expecting.

"What were you expecting me to say?" Y/n asked curiously

"I-i don't know, I was expecting more surprise or something." Luz asked genuinely confused as to why her brother was taking this news so casually.

"Well it's just...I kind of already knew sis.." y/n revealed with a smile.

"Say what!?" Luz asked now blushing red. " H-how!? I never talked about it!"

"You didn't have to." Y/n said as he began recounting moments with luz.

Flashback #1

"Remember not to push yourself to hard." Y/n spoke holding luzs feet down so she could do sit-ups.

"Yeah...." Luz trailed of staring somewhere.

Y/n followed her line of sight and she was looking at the cheerleaders.

"Probably wants to be a cheerleader in the future." Y/n thought in his mind.

Flashback #2

"What do you think about link as a character?" Y/n asked a she and luz played super smash bros.

" he's cool, and cute hehe." Luz said with a giggle.

"Hehe, if only Zelda was as cool." Y/n chuckled as he checked his phone for a moment.

"She's also cute." Luz muttered looking at the character on screen

" you say what?" Y/n asked not hearing her as he was distracted.

"Nothing!" Luz yelled as she was nearly caught slipping.

Flashback #3

Y/n walked into his shared bedroom with luz and looked for his basket ball, when he saw luz left the computer on..and her browser un closed.

Y/Ns eyes widened. "AYO

End of flashbacks.

"And that was just off the top of my head." Y/n said as he finished recounting the events.

Luz covered her face in her hands. " I knew I was forgetting something that day...." She groaned in embarrassment.

"Hehe so yeah I figured you also liked girls but I wasn't sure if you were just curious or if I was reading to deep into it so I never questioned you about it and just figured you would come to me or mama." Y/n said with a shrug.

Luz fiddled with her hands. " so you're really not upset...?" luz asked just really wishing to know for sure.

" of course not." Y/n smiled placing a hand on her head. " mom and dad raised us better than that, love who you want to love luz, no one gets to tell you otherwise."

Luz grew a big smile and embraced her brother. " te quiero mucho! (I love you so much)" luz spoke with care and relief hugging
y/ns neck tightly

Y/n chuckled hugging her back. " yo tambien te quiero hermanita ( I love you too little sis)." He responded as he broke the hug. " so you and amity huh?"

Luz blushed and looked down sheepishly. " yup."

"Well if she breaks your heart I'm punting her ass like a soccer ball ." Y/n spoke casually as he cleaned his dagger.

" that won't happen don't say stuff like that!" Luz yelled waving her arms.

" your right....but if it does..." y/n mutters and laughs as luz began hitting his arm.

I was happy that this world had done more for my sister than gravesfield ever had...I was... a different story,  luz viewed the boiling isles threw rose tinted glasses, this was her dream after all, I mean who doesn't want to spend some time in another world especially one of their favorite interests,  but there were big differences between  me and luz,  she was naive, and I was her older brother,  luz saw this place as an adventure, I just saw at as another place that could hurt her, and not just mentally, and I had to bear the brunt of it and not just for her but for all her friends too... let's just say if it wasn't for the demon fang ....man I don't know...

The Demon fang was doing more than just keeping me alive...it was fueling me...and I didn't realize it until we met him....Emperor belos, we had to else Eda was going to be lost to us.

Y/n and luz were currenttly battling belos, quite the task for two people who were noobs at magic, but they were making it work luz attacked from a distance and y/n tried to close it, unfortunately he was quite illusive, hands held down luz , more tried to grab y/n and to play some mental torture , hands proceeded to choke luz.

"Luz!" Y/n cried out trying to break free. " let her go!"

" such a simple weakness, you should have came alone boy..." The masked man approached from the shadows. " settle down and i will release her." He asked in amusement.

Y/n saw luz grow purple and he bubbled with rage, demon fang glowed and y/n began to emit and aura. " let go of her....NOOOOOW!!" y/n yelled with a shockwave, shredding the arms away, flames manifested around y/ns hand and he took a swipe with demon fang, belos was pushed back but blocked the flames.

Belos groaned a bit, a portion of his mask having been burned away and revealing a glowing blue eye. " to think a human...would be able to tap into the demon fangs power.....but for now that is unimportant.... Try that again boy... and it won't end well for either of you." Belos promised staring at y/n.

"Touch her again..and I tear your throat out..." y/ spoke, his left eye emitting a blue glow.

Luz looked up at y/n in worry, she had never seen him like this. " y/n?.." she asked almost in fear at this sudden change.

Y/n didn't speak, gently pushing luz behind him, waiting for belos to try again.

" we need not escalate this further....i am a messenger, in the grand scheme of things the owl ladies life is inconsequential, but then you two showed up...." Belos spoke looking at the two. " if you wish to save your mentor..give me the portal to the human realm."

"But...mom." Luz said in fear, this couldn't be how they saved Eda.

Y/n glared considering continuing where the left off..when suddenly.

Aaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Eda cried out in pain, belos wasn't keen on waiting for them to make a choice.

" hm, you probably think we want to invade the human realm...but the titans will is not so boorish." Belos spoke before y/n scoffed.

"Don't make me laugh....your invading earth paint it however you want to but your a fucking idiot if you think this anything else so please spare me." Y/n said, he was not about to hear this bastard justify this,

"I suppose there's no point in trying to convince you...in time you will understand, you are your sisters keeper, so I suggest you decide, the owl lady does not have much time." Belos spoke and y/n could feel the man's smile through his mask.

AarghhhgrahhaAhhh!!!!!!

"No! Y/n we can't let him we can't!" Luz begged her brother.

Y/n clenched a fist, his heart aching hearing eda suffer. "Luz... we give it to him and there's no going back.." y/n reminded, they didn't belong here, they still needed to get back home.

"But what about Eda!..." luz said beginning to tear up as she heard edas cry.

Y/n couldn't believe he was struggling to answer this, just say no, SAY NO!!

but he couldn't , perhaps if Eda was nothing to them...but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Y/Ns aura drifted away and he looked at luz with a weak expression nodding.

Luz pressed the key around her neck and the case manifested before her, and she hugged it tightly. " lo siento mama...." Luz spoke handing it to y/n.

Y/n mutely handed the case over to belos.

"The titans will be pleased." Belles spoke. " now go on..." he said as y/n and luz stepped on top of the platform, slamming his staff and causing it to move up. " continue to play hero."

"We may have lost..but so have you." Luz spoke slamming her staph down, and suddenly the brief case had been destroyed in belos hands.

Y/n eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't give belos time to retaliate,picking up luz and jump up into the surface.

Y/n then put her down and kissed her forehead. " nice one." Y/n praised with a weak smile, this was a blow but better destroyed then available for belos to use, luz smiled with pride and soon the two went to find their mentor.

That was a tough day for us... I don't regret saving Eda, especially now, she had become family and I hadn't realized it until then...but i truly wasn't prepared for what's the come...and the toll it would take.
