Many of you want Randhir to be in love with Sanyukta, not Yasmeen. I fully understand, as true Sandhir fans you want the lead pair to connect romantically because your minds are influenced by the construct in the Sadda Haq series, but I want you to remember a few things.

The plot of this story has been summarised on the front page, read it carefully and you will know its time frame, why things happen the way they did. In this story Sanyukta became Yasmeen after she left home. That identity gave her a sense of security as she did not want her family to trace her and take her back where she would be coerced into marrying someone who she has not chosen herself. She has become financially independent, she is living life on her own terms. Yasmeen is just an extension of Sanyukta, not another character. 

Although she approached him first behind her veil she had not expected him to pursue her to the extent that they are now practically living together. That was an unexpected bonus for her, without having done much for it.Not sure how many of you have experienced love (not attraction or infatuation), but she wants him to continue to be focused on his study and his career. This is critical for his financial well-being and the family business. She is doing everything to help him stay on track, investing in their possible future like a dedicated wife-to-be. 

With her around Randhir will not consider getting together with other girls. He is drawn to Yasmeen but knows they have no future together, their backgrounds are very diverse. Yasmeen has made him believe she has no expectations from him, they are both living in the moment.Yes, they have shared intimacy, that is natural considering they live together and are attracted to each other. Even so he has not breached the final barrier because he does not want her disadvantaged in case they drift apart. If it was not Sanyukta it could be some other girl. A young guy who has options will hardly stay without experimenting. If they stay celibate it often results from lack of opportunity, a major source of their frustration.

If Randhir gets to know that Yasmeen is actually Sanyukta he will be conflicted because he knows her personally, the turmoil will distract him from his focus affecting his performance at work. What's worse, he may withdraw himself from her completely making them both miserable.He cannot commit to any girl at the moment, he has to wait another 4-5 years before he formally joins the family business- his mother's diktat is very clear. He would not expect any girl to wait around that long.   As much as you dislike the idea Randhir does not have a choice. This is why he has been avoiding getting into relationships.

 When they meet later as Randhir and Sanyukta there will be a paradigm shift, I assure you. Please don't expect that to happen overnight. It is ironic but once lovers are united in a story there is not much substance to keep the story going. How long did Randhir and Sanyukta stay happily married in the series, not even for a weekend- they have yet to register their marriage legally and speculation is already rife about an impending divorce.

As I have said it before, keep the faith. If you stay with the story you will have your lovers' union just like you see it in your imagination. But if you want to see it now the story will probably wind up in a few chapters. Let me know what you think.
