Vision being limited to his face alone, blocking even my peripheral view with his muscular arms, my small figure was already trapped within his overpowering aura.

The air threatened to exhaust as both our breaths combined in the small room he provided. My back still being attached to the wall, mind completely blank as his eyes bored insanely deep.

I felt timid as to the dominance he had. Dry lips quickly got replaced by a draping layer of saliva as his full plump lips glowed.

"I am a vampire."

A sudden wave of terror flowed through as my knees made a reflexive action hitting his crotch directly. The expression of passion quickly fading away through his orbs, getting replaced by a rather flustered one.

His clumsy self became one with the floor as he clutched his hands tightly over the now painful region. Slight tears welling up near the edges of the crescents he owned.

"Sta-ay away from me-e." I stammered before reaching to twist the doorknob again. Stomping my feet down, I almost slammed the door on his face till he came out running.

"Y/N wait!" A hushed whisper somehow managed to escape his whimpering mouth as he grabbed my hand suddenly, pulling me in.

Without waiting for any reaction from my side, he pushed my figure down at the cushioned chair as I plopped down being adjusted to the new sense of comfort.

He limped back to his own chair after making sure that I wasn't making a run for anything. Shivering into a new sense, wondering if he was joking or something ?

He slowly sat down before adjusting his glasses while I attempted to give a neutral expression to hide my super terrified self, tapping my fingers at the wooden surface anxiously.

Seems like Jin was right. And I got my answers. And nope I'm not getting out of here alive. Rest in peace me.

"Just hear me out okay?" He patiently asked while I silently nodded afraid. As if one wrong word flowing out throught my vocal chords and the next millisecond hushed with silence forever.

He spaced out for a brief moment until making a decision.

"I'll give you a raise!"

"What are the chances of you not killing me right here and right now ?!" I whisper shouted as my pitch might've sounded two octaves higher. Jimin sighed before draping his fingers around my rather clammy one. "Considering your significance in my life, I'd say pretty high." 

Those orbs gazing deep into mine as I exhaled a sharp breath. Nothing but the truth reflecting from the doe-eyed beauty of his. 

"So am I supposed to believe you just like that ?" I didn't want to sound desperate but he did have a upper hand. What else would someone's reaction be when they witness a mere myth being true. 

That those sexy characters from The Twilight series were indeed existing in true nature. (A/N: inspired to somewhat write the book :) 

"You'll have to trust me on this one." His grip tightening around with comfort as if to only ensure care. I sighed relentlessly.

Staying silent seemed to me as the best option. I acted as if being lost in thoughts til he made yet another sentence threatened leave my mouth. 

"You're sure you aren't kidding right ? Is this a prank ?" 

What the fuck Y/N.

"Hehe I assure you it isn't. Now about that raise I was talking. I'll be generous enough adding it by fifty percent of your current salary--"

"Seal that deal!" I failed to hush my overall interest as the suggestion sounded way too euphoric. I shook his hand at the same moment aggressively while he seemed to be heaving a sigh of relief.

"Finally." He glided through the table's surface before wrapping his arms around my figure. I hugged him back as the same sexy and the manliest of cologne hit my nose, blessing my lungs at the same time.

After a moment or two, we parted as he sat down on the chair, a small smile never resurfacing from his round lips.

Silence settled in the atmosphere as no tension could be felt in the friendly aura. As if the details he mentioned not ten minutes ago ceased to exist.

I gave in to his suggestions before bidding my farewell.

He did a small goodbye as I took small steps closing the door behind me as gently.

Looks like this won't be the last time after all.

I slowly creaked open the door of my apartment. It was earlier than my usual time.

The only tension worrying me was the confrontation taking place with Jin here afterwards. He had strictly advised me to leave that job and break all connections with that guy.

Threatening that he could be some serious danger in the near future.

He kept on emphasising the fact that Jimin was cunning, ruthless, mysterious and dangerous. And he must be. But however, my concious was only focused towards the grim light shining alone in the ever lasting darkness he carried. 

The way he had me felt all this time was something foreign but in a good way. I wasn't so sure if parting with Jimin, who was credited with playing roller coaster with my feelings, was something I'd allow so soon.

Anyway, Jin also told me that he wanted to tell me something important which might come as shocking. But after the fact that Jimin was a vampire, I don't think anything else in the world could even hold the meaning of this word.

I feared losing Jin again. He was the only one I had as of now. I hope he doesn't get very upset when I tell him that the task which he anticipated was fulfilled exactly in the opposite direction.

I sighed lowly before rumbles of knocks banged the door down. Taking one quick glance at the clock, I hurried towards the door wondering who could be at this early hour.

"Why'd you do it ?"

The only sentence ringing in my ears as soon as as I opened it coming from Jin who didn't seem like had a good day.

After getting braces, there is just so much blood in my mouth lmao. If this is what a vampire feels like all his life then RESPECT from my side dude.
