"Father, you needed to see us before the mission?" The youngest Mikaelson twin asks

Twins, Aracel and Silas Mikaelson, enter their father's study located in The Elite's headquarters in Atlas. Mikael Kuromiya, one of the eldest vampires in existence, looks up from his paperwork to focus on his children. The pinkette and her silver haired brother were nudging each other and making goofy faces at each other to see who would burst out laughing first. Mikael cleared his throat loudly to get the attention of his children. The twins composed themselves with one last nudge and smiled sheepishly at their awaiting father.

"I need you two to take this seriously." Mikael starts off

"Don't worry about it pops, Elle and I got this under control-"

"That's what worries me. This cannot go horribly the same way it did last time." Mikael says

Aracel and Silas both look up, seemingly to one of the corner's of the room as the scenery ripples like water and they're taken back to the incident of their last mission.

The twins were instructed to keep watch, deemed too young, to partake in any of the action. Their fellow Elite members, Winter Schnee and Clover Ebi, were to take care of stealing Glynda Goodwitch's grimoire. But as they kept watch, they quickly grew bored, the only solution was to entertain each other.

"So I'm sitting there, barbecue sauce on my titties."

The two burst out laughing, ending up with the pinkette on the ground cackling. This didn't go unnoticed by the witches in the cemetery, instructed to guard their home. The four members of The Elite were forced to retreat back to Atlas empty handed. The entire ride back home Aracel and Silas didn't hear the end of it with both experienced members lecturing them the entire way back.

Back in present time, the ripple fades and they are returned to reality.

"You two had one job!" Mikael exclaims

"I'll be real with you, I had forgotten what we were even supposed to do that day." Aracel says

"Do you need to see the flashback again?" Mikael asks

"Ye-"

"No! We definitely got this pops, we won't let you down." Silas assures

"We will see about that…" Mikael mutters to himself. "You need to retrieve the moon stone by any means necessary. We cannot let that abomination get to it or we'll be the ones paying the price."

"You've spoken about the hybrid's curse before, are there any other ingredients he needs to break his spell?" Aracel asks, rubbing at her left arm.

"He has a witch, blood moons come and go, the last item he would need is the moon stone." Mikael lies

Aracel nods. "Got it, let's go Si."

The twins turn back to depart, but before they can leave, Mikael calls out his daughter's name. Aracel and Silas share a look, the pinkette communicating with him through sign language. The eldest nods and exits the room, planning to wait outside the study. Aracel waits for her father to initiate conversation, while waiting she looks around his study. It appeared normal, a sitting area with a coffee table in the middle with three steps leading up to Mikael's desk and two chairs placed in front for guests. But by pulling the right books, you'd be taken to Mikael's lair. There everything was different. It was his own personal lab for casting spells and storing ingredients for spell castings. Though it was strictly off limits even to his own blood. Aracel had to learn that the hard way back when she was younger.

"You and Silas must succeed by any means necessary. Even if that means using special excessive tactics..."

"Oh… dark magic…" Aracel mumbles

"If you see fit and remember no loss is too great so long as you get the moon stone." Mikael says

"Even at the cost of our lives?" Aracel asks

Mikael wraps an arm around her shoulders. "You'd be doing us all a great service, millions of lives saved at the cost of one are better odds than those reversed. Wouldn't you agree?"

"I guess when you put it like that, you wouldn't be wrong. I'm ready-"

"Precisely! Now be a dear and send your brother in."

Aracel nods and opens the door to exit. She meets Silas' gaze and gestures back to the door. Silas leaves the pinkette out in the halls and confidently walks back into Mikael's study.

He grins. "So, what'd you want to talk to me about pops?"

"In due time, if you're able to retrieve the moon stone." Mikael says, sitting back down in his chair.

"We got it, we're not sixteen anymore. Now we're sixteen in reverse! Crazy how time works." Silas smiles innocently

"Right… anyways! Silas, do you know you're to retrieve the moon stone under any circumstances?" Mikael asks

"Duh-"

"Including sacrificing your sister?"

"What? Why would I do that?" Silas frowns

"I'm not telling you to do that-"

Silas sighs in relief. "Thank the gods! Because I don't think I'd be capable of sacrificing my lil sis over some dumb rock even if she is annoying-"

"However, you never know what can go wrong in any mission. Hypothetically, if it does come down between securing the stone over Aracel's life, I know you will choose wisely. After all, many lives are depending on you." Mikael says

"This is still all hypothetical, right?" Silas asks

"Oh, of course. I trust your instincts son. But do keep this between us."

Silas walks out of his father's study feeling uneasy. To his understanding, which wasn't a whole lot when Aracel had their one brain cell that Darla Dupain-Cheng claimed they shared, his father made it sound like he wanted Silas to leave behind his sister if that's what it came to. He really hoped it didn't come to that. Still Silas wondered if his father had given Aracel her own personal mission.

"Did you and dad talk about anything strange?" Aracel asks, as the two head towards the aircraft that would take them to Mistral.

"Nope! Just standard dad chat. You know, like testosterone! And football! Trucks! You know, just all the great manly stuff the world has to offer." Silas shrugs awkwardly. "Why? Did he say anything weird to you?" The older one raises a brow.

"Just frost blade maintenance." Aracel says, keeping her answer short.

"Oh…"

"Yeah…"

The twins continue their journey to the hangar in silence, a rare sight when the two were together. They were usually more lively, but their father's secret individual missions were weighing them down. Aracel had a feeling that after tonight, their lives would never be the same. Whether they succeed or fail tonight, it would bring forth a new beginning.

Every member of The Elite had gathered around, leaving a pathway in the middle to see the twins off. Darla Dupain-Cheng grinned at the sibling duo, expecting them to turn up empty handed like they did the previous time. And she could not wait to humiliate them upon their return. Winona Bright stands next to Darla, holding a bottle of perfume. As the twins pass her by, the white haired girl spritz the fragrance on them, her own way to wish them good luck. Charlie Charme and his cousin Joshua Cromwell smiled fondly at them, the former Atlesian prince whispering an encouraging "good luck" to his best friend. The Ace Ops only offer a nod of acknowledgement. Silas turns to face Clover who gives him a stern look which Harriet mirrors immediately after. Coco Adel and Dew Gayl whisper amongst themselves, the vampire and angel duo snickering. Like Darla they expected the twins to fail, however unlike the siren they felt as if the twins hadn't deserved to be accepted among the ranks of The Elite. Pyrrha Nikos stands beside Weiss Schnee and the rest of her family. Pyrrha patted Aracel's shoulder as she walked by as a reminder for her to keep her head up. Weiss offered them a short-lived smile that turned into a frown as her older sister elbowed her. The rest of the Schnee family simply cast glares at the Mikaelson children, their family rivalry still going strong despite Weiss attempting to break down those barriers. General Ironwood, Mikael, and Ozpin meet the twins at the end. Upon noticing Ozpin the sibling duo bow, showing one of their father's eldest colleagues respect. Ozpin was the oldest among The Elite, his presence here of importance as he was known for never revealing himself unless absolutely necessary making Aracel wonder why he thought seeing them off was of importance, he had never done that for anyone else previously. The last time he did was with Pyrrha and that was ages ago.

"You're late." Ironwood whispers to Alex Blake, who appears at his side.

"Yeah, well someone always forgets to invite me." She mutters bitterly, glaring daggers at Mikael, her lavender hues slightly turning emerald.

Alex steps forward and envelopes Aracel and Silas in a hug. She gives them her best wishes and safe travels. The twins embrace her back until Mikael pulls Alex off of them.

"Got any last words for us father?" Aracel asks

Mikael simply shrugs. "Don't die, I suppose."

Silas smiles. "That's some good stuff pops! I'm all fired up!"

Silas boards the airship, leaving his sister behind without a second glance. Aracel, on the other hand, turns back to look at everyone. They looked at her expectedly, waiting for her to board the airship. Ozpin gives her an encouraging nod and in a blink of an eye he's gone. With one last look at her father, who merely looks away carelessly, Aracel boards the airship.

There was no turning back now.

"Are you in position?" Silas asks, through the pinkette's earpiece.

"Yes, and it looks like we've got company. Target number two is already seated at the bar. You've got eyes on target one?" Aracel asks, from her position in the establishment's back room.

"Yup! Hey! Why do I have to deal with the angry chick?"

"Uhh… which one of us has boobs and a killer ass? Or would you rather have the drunkard undress you with his eyes?" Aracel teases, knowing what her brother's response would be.

"Ugh… nevermind. You're good to go." Silas says, signing off.

At the bar Lux in Mistral, Aracel comes out the back room wearing a lavender knit turtleneck, a matching skirt with faux fur surrounding the end of the skirt, and thigh high violet boots. She took her place behind the bar and walked over to her target for the night. A man slouched over the bar, finishing off his drink. If Aracel had any doubts, which she didn't, that this was her target his rugged appearance would be the biggest indicator as he didn't fit in with the rest of the club goers. The man has graying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. Along with a red, tattered cloak, he wears a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants and black dress shoes. Ugh… he was in desperate need of a stylist and if he wasn't her mission, the pinkette would style him herself.

"Hmm… noticed quite a few rings, but none on the finger that matters." Aracel says

Qrow chuckles. "No one's ever been able to tie me down."

Aracel clicks her tongue. "What a shame… but their loss is my gain…" She teasingly bites her lower lip.

The vampire in front of her clears his throat, trying to keep his composure in front of the beautiful Atlesian. He usually didn't go for primadonnas, too high maintenance for his liking, but he'd be willing to make an exception, just this once. His drink is refilled with his favorite amber liquid before he could ask, the man raises a questioning eyebrow only to be met with a sly smirk.

"What's your name?" Aracel asks

"Lucien." He lies

"So, you think I'm pretty?" The pinkette's smirk grows

"Wh-"

"The ole' never give a cute waitress your real name trick." Aracel says

"Ha. You caught me, except you're not a waitress, Mikaelson."

This time it's Qrow's turn to smirk. Aracel gives up the "facade" and walks around the bar counter to take the seat next to her target. She gives him a shy smile and gestures to herself.

"In the flesh."

"Uh… huh…" Qrow mumbles, staring at her covered up neck.

"So, what's your real name? Since I'm not a waitress, but you still think I'm cute, I'm kinda hoping you'll answer me truthfully this time."

"Qrow Branwen."

"Like the-"

"Yeah." He's quick to cut her off.

He'd spare her his whole tragic backstory, it was none of her business anyways. Aracel's brows furrowed and she nodded slowly sensing that it was a touchy subject. She knew what that was like, so she wouldn't push him into forcefully telling her the details. Besides, it was none of her business. And he was her mission. She didn't plan to see him ever again after the moon stone was retrieved. So whatever trauma he was going through wouldn't matter after tonight. If anything the pinkette would forget this lowly man the second he's out of sight.

"Wanna dance?" Aracel asks

"I'm not really a dancer-"

"Suit yourself." She throws him a wink and saunters off to the dance floor as a new song begins.

'See you in the dark
All eyes on you, my magician
All eyes on us
You make everyone disappear, and
Cut me into pieces
Gold cage, hostage to my feelings
Back against the wall
Trippin', trip-trippin' when you're gone'

Qrow lingers back at the bar, as he watches the pinkette dance to some popular tune he didn't recognize. She meets his gaze and smiles, a mischievous twinkle shining in her lavender hues. Her movements were tantalizing, but Qrow had to restrain himself for several reasons. The main one being he was here strictly to negotiate with the club owner.

'Cause we breakdown a little
But when you get me alone, it's so simple
'Cause baby, I know what you know
We can feel it'

He waves at her half heartedly, making no move to slide in behind her and place his hands on her waist.

'And all the pieces fall
Right into place
Getting caught up in a moment
Lipstick on your face
So it goes
I'm yours to keep
And I'm yours to lose
You know I'm not a bad girl
But I do bad things with you
So it goes'

At the end of the bar, on the opposite side, Qrow notices a few stray werewolves staring at the pinkette like prey. If he did nothing, he knew they would move in and kill her. Qrow grabs his scroll and looks at the time, his meeting with the owner would have to wait. As he walks to the dance floor, he curses the pinkette's ability to get into trouble. Aracel sees him nearing and smiles, unaware of the nearby danger.

'Met you in a bar
All eyes on me, your illusionist
All eyes on us
I make all your gray days clear and
Wear you like a necklace
I'm so chill, but you make me jealous
But I got your heart
Skippin', skip-skippin' when I'm gone'

Aracel smirks. "I thought you didn't dance."

Qrow shrugs. "I don't, but maybe I didn't want anyone else beating me to you."

"Hmm… try to keep up, pretty bird."

'Cause we breakdown a little
But when I get you alone, it's so simple
'Cause baby, I know what you know
We can feel it'

Qrow gently places his hands on Aracel's waist and upon contact the pinkette shivers. The feeling was foreign to both of them, having grown used to being adverse to touch their entire lives.

'And all the pieces fall
Right into place
Getting caught up in a moment
Lipstick on your face
So it goes
I'm yours to keep
And I'm yours to lose
You know I'm not a bad girl
But I do bad things with you
So it goes'

"Is this okay?"

Aracel nods her head rather quickly. "Yeah…"

"Umm… well… that's good?" Qrow awkwardly mumbles

'Come here, dressed in black now
So, so, so it goes
Scratches down your back now
So, so, so it goes'

Their dance starts off a bit sloppy, but slowly Qrow gets the hang of it and the two begin to move in sync with the music and each other. Aracel reaches back and runs her fingers through the vampire's hair.

'You did a number on me
But honestly, baby, who's counting?
I did a number on you
But honestly, baby, who's counting?
You did a number on me
But honestly, baby, who's counting?
Who's counting?
One, two, three'

Qrow pulls away and grabs Aracel's hand, twirling the girl and quickly pulling her back to him. Pressed against each other, he leans down and lowers his voice so that the only one that would hear him would be the Atlesian.

"I'm going to need you to trust me."

"Why?" Aracel asks

"Those guys at the end of the bar, they're bad news. And for whatever reason, you've seemed to have pissed off their leader."

"What's the plan?"

'And all the pieces fall
Right into place
Getting caught up in a moment
Lipstick on your face
So it goes
I'm yours to keep
And I'm yours to lose
You know I'm not a bad girl
But I do bad things with you
So it goes'

"Run."

'Come here, dressed in black now
So, so, so it goes
Scratches down your back now
So, so, so it goes
Come here, dressed in black now
So, so, so it goes
Scratches down your back now
So, so, so it goes'

The song ends and Qrow is quick to stretch out his arm over the pinkette, gently pushing her behind him. He looks back at her and nods, she repeats the motion and turns to leave as the vampire prepares to fight the approaching pack of werewolves. With her back now turned, Aracel smirks, tucking away the moon stone in her skirt's pocket. Leaving Qrow behind, the pinkette makes her escape exiting the club. She finds Silas outside, a grin gracing his features.

"I assume you have it?"

Aracel grabs the moon stone and holds it up for her brother to see. "And I assume that you've disposed of the vampire?"

Silas smirks. "Oh, ye-"

"Try again." A new voice rings in.

Aracel looks at the woman in front of her then turns to Silas. "I thought you got rid of her?"

"I did! You know that thing that I can sometimes pull off? Where I ask people odd questions that confuse them enough to the point where they freeze? Well… I asked her if her refrigerator was running and-"

"Stop! We can't keep proving Darla Dupain-Cheng right!" Aracel exclaims

"I suppose I'm not the only one with an idiot brother…" Raven mutters, having seen enough she calls out to the pinkette to get her attention. "I'm going to need that back."

"I don't think so." Aracel says, tucking the stone away.

"I don't usually try to strike a deal with someone, but I'm feeling awfully generous today. You can hand over the moon stone and we both peacefully walk away from this or…"

"Or what?" Silas asks

"Or I can rip you both apart limb from limb and forcibly take it away from you. Now, if I were you, I'd take the easy route and just hand over the damn thing and save me the trouble. Then you and your brother can scurry back to that floating mass of garbage you call a kingdom." Raven offers.

"Raven!" Qrow calls out, exiting the club without a single scratch from his fight.

His sister points towards the Atlesian, already knowing what her brother was going to tell her. She grins and waves at him causing the vampire to glare at her. Qrow wanted to be mad, he really did, but he was mostly frustrated with the fact that he allowed himself to be fooled.

"So… what will it be?" Raven asks

"Hmm… sorry, but we'll be taking this."

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

The Branwen twins stand side by side, revealing their vampire features. With their true faces revealed, the sclera of their eyes turns blood red, dark veins appear under their eyes as the blood pumps forcefully through them, and their canine teeth extend into razor sharp fangs. Unfazed, having been surrounded by the supernatural her whole life, Aracel pulls out her whip, La Desalmada, and uses it to hit the ground in front of her new enemies.

"I could say the same thing…"

Taking La Deslmada, the pinkette snaps the whip in front her and her brother forming a cloud of smoke. When the dust clears, the Atlesian twins are now dressed in their Elite garbs. Silas wears a grey windbreaker jacket with black details, black straps that say "elite" and white writings in a language their opponents could not recognize. Underneath he wears a black t-shirt with a graphic print that says "twilight" in multiple angles forming a triangle. He also wears ski pants with multiple graphic designs, For his footwear, the silver haired boy wears matching grey sneakers.

Aracel's outfit now consists of a matching black leather studded bralette and pencil skirt, with a long sleeved black fluffy jacket with silver details and pointed studs sewn through it. As for shoes she wears tall black broken glass patterned holographic heels, and she also wears large studded silver hoop earrings. While her hair is tied up in two ponytails with side swept bangs. Her makeup consists of neon rainbow eyeshadow all around her eyes, subtle blush, and glossy black lipstick. Both of their coats, having The Elite's dark wings emblem printed on their backs.

"They're with The Elite!" Qrow growls

"Does that upset you pretty bird? Surely we can work something out?" Aracel fakes a pout

"Not likely." Qrow seethes

"That's too bad… suppose I won't be the one to put a ring on it." Aracel says, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.

Qrow rushes towards the pinkette, who begins spinning La Desalmada around herself like a dancing ribbon. The vampire reaches for the leather bound weapon, immediately retreating his hand away after feeling a familiar intense burning sensation. He suspected the whip to be laced with wisteria, one of vampire's few weaknesses aside from decapitation, wooden stakes, magic, werewolf bites, and sunlight.

"Ganame, ganame. Que si me toca me pierde." Aracel scolds, hitting the man on his hand.

Angered with the pinkette, Qrow attempts to rush forward again but he's pushed back into his sister by the magenta aura of Royal Clairvoyance, Silas' semblance. The vampire twins crash into the wall of Lux and slump down against the structure. Qrow moves to stand up, but Raven grabs him by the shoulder, holding him back.

"Wait…" Raven warns, her vampire features fading away.

"What?" Qrow snaps, irritated that the odds were not going in their favor.

Raven observes the wayward twins. "These kids, they're not like us. They're human, they have an aura."

Qrow scoffs, finding it ridiculous that his sister was pointing out the obvious. "So?"

"We have to retrieve the stone, but we can't kill these kids."

They desperately needed the moon stone back in their possession, Ruby's life depended on it. The clock is ticking and every second that the dormant hybrid went without the moon stone meant that his patience would soon wear thin. He knew that if they failed to keep their end of the deal, the hybrid would make good on his word and kill his niece. Qrow didn't even want to think of that outcome, after everything that he and his sister have been through he didn't want to add Ruby's death to that list of tragedies. Tai, Stella, and Yang, most of all, would be absolutely devastated if Ruby were to be killed. The younger twin shudders at the thought, he turns to his sister and watches as she nervously swallows a lump in her throat. Raven meets her brother's gaze. Qrow could tell she felt as equally, if not more, anguished than the others but unlike the rest of their family she refused to show it.

"I'll keep him distracted, you know what to do."

Raven gestures to his hands, before rushing into battle once more. She focuses on taking Silas down, who works on blocking her attacks with Royal Clairvoyance. Aracel and Qrow stare each other down, they lie in wait to see who makes the first move. The vampire reaches back for his own weapon, however unsheathing Harbinger only causes his opponent to grin like a madwoman. She beckons him with a single movement of her finger. Qrow rushes towards her, following with some slick movements from Harbinger to try to get a hit on the Atlesian. She kept up with his pace, deflecting his swift maneuvers with a few slaps from her leather bound weapon. Harbinger and La Desalmada clash, their users pushing back against one another.

"Hmm… you're not that bad, for a human. But I'm gonna need that stone back." Qrow says

"You'll have to steal it from my corpse." Aracel seethes, feeling herself being pushed back by the vampire.

The two look down and see her heels digging into the ground as she's forced back. Their eyes meet again and Qrow smirks, feeling like he finally has the upper hand against her.

"That can be arranged."

"You and Silas must succeed by any means necessary. Even if that means using special excessive tactics…"

Mikael's words ring in her mind, reminding her of his suggestion. "By any means necessary." She whispers. "I wouldn't get so cocky. I still got a few tricks up my sleeve."

The Atlesian's lavender hues glow a menacing dark blue to match her aura. Qrow's own eyes slowly widen, as he comes to the realization that he sorely underestimated the pinkette.

"Latem eht taeh, hcuot gninrub."

Harbinger suddenly heats up, blistering his hands. As the metal becomes unbearably hot, Qrow drops his weapon and checks on his hands. Aracel takes this opportunity to kick the vampire back causing him to fall back on the ground. She walks over to where he laid, her eyes returning back to their regular hue as she does so. Aracel steps on the vampire's chest and looks down at him.

"You used dark magic…" Qrow mutters, still taken aback.

"So?"

"You're not the only one with magic, witch. Fulminis."

After chanting the necessary spell, Qrow is quick to draw the corresponding runes in the air. Hearing her brother cast the spell, Raven moves out of the way as Qrow's spell takes effect, paralyzing the Atlesian twins with a bolt of electricity. Their auras simultaneously break and Silas is the first to fall, having already used up a great deal of his energy fighting Raven. Qrow rolls to his side and watches the pinkette fall beside him. Feeling the aftershocks of the spell, the twins twitch every now and then.

"I'll be taking this now." Qrow smirks, pulling the moon stone out of Aracel's jacket.

Qrow allows himself to be pulled up off the ground by Raven, his hands having now healed from his advanced vampiric healing abilities. With Aracel's spell worn off, Qrow grabs Harbinger and sheaths his weapon. It wasn't as hot as it was before, but the giant blade still remained warm enough, however as a vampire it wasn't sufficient to hurt him anymore.

"Let's go, we still have to hold our end of the bargain." Raven says, relieved that Ruby would be returned to them in a matter of minutes.

The Branwen twins turn their backs on the Mikaelson twins. Aracel glares at their retreating forms, her mind filled with plans of revenge. Like her father, she set out to retaliate against those who had wronged her. Why wait for karma when she could extract her vengeance at a quicker pace? And what would make her revenge sweeter is that Qrow had already done half the work for her without realizing it. The pinkette's fingertips slowly reached towards the vicissim gem that fell out of her pocket when moonstone was taken from her. Grasping the gem in her hand, she crushes it on the ground, temporarily reversing the spell.

"That girl… she can use dark magic." Qrow says

Raven sighs. "Doesn't surprise me that The Elite would have someone with such capabilities. If someone that young can use dark magic, then that means she's not the only one practicing the dark arts."

"Right, we should keep our guard up and warn The Clanless."

"Precisely-"

"Meht dnib leets gnirehtils." Aracel chants, her eyes glowing a dark blue again.

The pinkette's earrings morph into snakes that wrap themselves around the two vampires caught off guard. The snakes then transform into chains, binding the twins. Aracel slowly stands, her movements staggering quite a bit as she does so. She makes her way over to Qrow and reaches for the moonstone, the light in her eyes fading away and revealing her lavender hues once more. The two vampires struggle trying to break free of the chains, only ending up burned in the end as they were laced with wisteria.

"Don't! We need that!" Qrow growls

"I'm not going to allow you to hand this over to the hybrid, if he breaks his curse he'll bring our ruin."

"Please!" Raven begs

Overhead, an Atlesian aircraft is heard. The Ace Operatives board the airship, instructed with picking up the twins. Aracel pockets the moonstone and walks away from the twins to tend to her own brother. Her proud facade falls momentarily as she hears them begging for her to return the moonstone. Aracel helps Silas up and wraps an arm around him to hold him up. When the aircraft is close enough, Aracel takes La Desalmada and wraps the whip around one of its thrusters. The aircraft flies off before it can alert the hybrid of its presence. The door is opened and Aracel hastily swings herself and Silas inside, the pinkette's back hitting the wall as she protects her brother from any further harm.

"So, did you retrieve the moonstone?" Clover asks, placing the aircraft on autopilot mode.

The Ace Ops gather around, anticipating an answer. Aracel stands up to give them an answer, only to stumble forward, the effects of the paralysis returning. Elm is quick to catch her before she hits the floor. Meanwhile, Vine checks up on the older twin who simply shudders at contact. The twins are gently placed in the back of the ship, with Elm and Vine sitting next to them to keep watch on their condition. Elm looks up at her leader and shakes her head.

"We need to hurry back to Atlas."

Clover nods and heads back to the pilot's seat. Marrow looks back at the twins and his face falls.

"They should have never been sent on a mission, they're too young… too vulnerable…" He mumbles, solemnly.

"Get over it, it's the life they were born into." Harriet snarls

Hours later, Aracel opens up her eyes and gazes up at the familiar glow in the dark stars that were glued up on the ceiling of her shared room with Silas. She turns to look towards the right side of the room that was deemed her brother's side. Silas layed in bed fast asleep, he looked better than he did earlier as the two were now cured from their paralysis. Aracel shifts in her bed, alerting their father that she had woken up. Mikael stands from his spot in the couch they had in their room and makes his way over to his daughter.

"Don't strain yourself, you both took quite a few good hits."

"Is Si okay?"

Mikael let's out a light chuckle of amusement. "You should have seen your brother when he woke up earlier, he nearly jumped out the bed insisting that he needed to go work out."

Aracel playfully rolls her eyes. "That's Silas alright…" She mumbles

"How are you feeling?" Mikael asks

"Aren't you going to ask about the mission?"

Mikael shakes his head. "That's not what matters right now, so how are you feeling?"

Aracel gives him a small smile. "I'm okay…"

Mikael returns the gesture and ruffles the pinkette's hair, much to her distaste. "Get some rest, we'll talk more once you're both feeling better."

Mikael tucks the pinkette in bed, up to his standards and leans down to place a kiss on her temple. He wishes her a goodnight and walks over to where Silas peacefully slept, repeating the same gesture as he did with Aracel. Closing the door behind him, Mikael comes face to face with Ozpin.

"How are they Mikael?"

"They'll pull through. They're my kids, they get their strength from me."

"You said it yourself, they're kids, go easy on them from now on." Ozpin says, offering his long time friend a word of advice.

"Of course, you're right. They're my flesh and blood and I don't know what I'd do without them." Mikael says

"You're a very blessed man, don't you forget that. One could only hope to forever have their children at their side safe and sound."

Ozpin pats Mikael on the back, before taking his leave. Once he is out of sight, Mikael reaches into his pocket and pulls out the moonstone. He rubs his thumb across its smooth surface and grins.

"Oh, but this is just the beginning…"
