Two centuries ago...to the south east part of Ziastra (present day Korea) laid the kingdom of Astraxus...the land of moons...a celestially enchanting kingdom where multiple moon shone...

In Astraxus, the moons held ancient secrets and possess magical properties that shape the destiny of its inhabitants.

To the North of Astraxus was the dense forest Astrella...the kingdom of the vampires of the Scarlet Moon coven...ruled by the Lunarian empire

Astraxus and Astrella....has been rivals for years now...Both the kingdoms not allowed to cross each other's borders no matter what

Astraxus prospered under the rule of the great king Jeon JaeHoon..the first sorcerer king after centuries...whose magic paved the way to the formation of a healing and peaceful kingdom

King JaeHoon was married to a beautiful princess from the Kingdom of Zehran...Shin Hyein...a brave princess whose stories of valor was known long and wide

The wedding of Jaehoon and Hyein was a grand celebration... lasting for months... Astraxus became the heaven on earth during that time....the King and his new Queen holding rituals at the moon temple by the banks of the river Syera... receiving blessings of the goddess of Moon and witchcraft Hecate

JaeHoon even though being the beloved king...was the talk of the kingdom regarding his magical powers which no one knew he got from where...

Soon JaeHoon and Hyein were blessed with a beautiful baby boy...who inherited the magical powers of his father.... JaeHoon...at a single glance felt it in himself that his son has the strength and capability to be a great ruler who will support the kingdom and take Astraxus to new heights...He envisioned his son to be the pillar of the kingdom and thus named him
Jeon Jungkook

Jeon Jungkook....the miracle baby of Astraxus...their sorcerer prince whose skin pale as snow and eyes glowing emerald held the power to captivate any living being

Jungkook's snow white hair stood out among the raven heads... people convinced the cause of which to be the magic in his blood

But no matter what everyone thought..Jeon Jungkook had the Astraxians wrapped around his pinky

Just like every good things... JaeHoon's golden era came to a crashing stop when Kim Jongwook..the royal advisor tricked the sorcerer king... killing him in the middle of the kingdom claiming JaeHoon to be associated with the vampires of Astrella..and that it's from them that he got his magical powers

Jongwook's claims were so powerful that the Astraxians were compelled to believe him... calling him their savior who saved them from the devil King....

Jongwook took the best of the opportunity and crowned himself the king...

Queen Hyein who was still mourning over her husband refused to be Jongwook's queen which resulted in her being locked away in the dungeons

Little Jungkook of five absolutely hated Jongwook... who ruined his family...but Jongwook's feelings towards him was no different...he wanted to make his son the next king and for that he needed to get rid of Jungkook

Jongwook went ahead declaring it to the kingdom that Jeon Jungkook the only son of Jeon JaeHoon was the cursed prince born out of JaeHoon's bad blood...his appearance the proof of the same....and whoever dared to be near to the prince will end up dead

When Jongwook saw how people refused to believe him...he killed off the Jungkook's personal maid and some guards... telling everyone how Jungkook was really cursed and had no control over his powers

Thus the little prince of five was taken into an abandoned castle at the border of the kingdom where no one else lived.. leaving him there alone with a single guard

Thus began the story of the Cursed Prince of Astraxus

Eighteen years after that dreadful day passed by in a jiffy for the Astraxians..but for Jungkook...each day was a punishment... punishment for sins he committed in some other life...may be...he doesn't know....

Darkness.... Loneliness....All he had known in his 23 years of life...locked up behind the castle walls....in a world of his own....with no one to talk to..no one to share his thoughts to...Jeon Jungkook the cursed prince of Astraxus has always been a lonely soul

Jungkook was ten when the son of the king came back from his training...Kim Namjoon..a handsome boy of 15 years... nothing cruel like his father...but Jungkook was not naive...he would die but won't trust someone just by their appearance.... No matter who they are...

But Namjoon... slowly but steadily made a place in Jungkook's heart..as his Joon hyung..the only one in Astraxus who talked to him.. treated him like a human.. rather than an animal meant to be kept in a cage

Jongwook...when he decided to crown Namjoon the next king what he didn't expect was the outburst of his son who loved Jungkook like his own brother... He fought against his father... refusing to take the crown which rightfully belonged to Jungkook

Kim Namjoon... used to sneak out of the palace at night just to go meet Jungkook with the help of his foot man Min Yeojae whose son Min Yoongi used to accompany him till the castle

Over the years Namjoon saw how the younger changed... It's true that he is still as enchanting as before...his snowy hair more fluffy and emerald eyes beautiful..but as time passed by..the glow of the emeralds dimmed...

Namjoon and Yoongi who grew close to the younger tried everything they could to cheer Jungkook up but all was in vain

Today was Jungkook's birthday...a day which reminds him of all his losses...a day he misses his parents the most....

Jungkook was seated at his table...the seaweed soup that Namjoon sneaked out with the help of his guard Kim Seokjin placed in front of him...with Namjoon and Yoongi standing next to his table

' Eat up Kook' Namjoon said trying to be cheerful 'Its your birthday'

' Where is Jin hyung?' Jungkook chose to ask... Jin was a pleasant addition to the group...his cheerful nature and positive approach provided comfort to Jungkook's wounded heart

' He was called by the King' Yoongi mumbled finally sitting down..tired of standing all this while ' Will join us later'

' Right' Jungkook nodded still staring at the soup

' Jungkook ah...there is something I need to tell you' Namjoon spoke up ' I talked to... Yoongi's appa...and we came to the conclusion that you need a guard here...at the castle'

Jungkook snapped his head towards Namjoon..his eyes burning in rage ' A guard? For what babysitting me?'

' Kook.. listen to us first' Yoongi interrupted 'Jongwook  won't hesitate to do you any harm...we need to make sure you are safe'

' Harm? To me?' Jungkook scoffed ' What can he do to me anymore? He has me trapped in this golden cage for 18 years hyung and you think he can do me anymore harm'

' Doesn't mean he is unaware of your powers!' Yoongi stood up ' You are Jeon JaeHoon's son Jungkook...he knows the power of your blood..he knows the power of your magic...and with you turning 23 today he knows that every bit of power in you will be unleashed sooner! And the fact that you don't have any defense skills nor control over your powers is a cherry on top!!'

Jungkook didn't reply..he just turned his gaze back to the soup in front of him

' We can't trust the King's guards' Namjoon said ' So we decided that it's best if we bring in someone trustworthy'

' And who might that be?' Jungkook mocked ' Which Astraxian is brave enough to meet the Cursed Prince of Astraxus eye to eye!'

' We are here'

All of them turned around at that only to see a smiling Jin walking in...his smile faltering at the untouched food

' Jeon Jungkook!!' Jin gritted out ' How dare you not touch anything that I made for you with my whole heart?? Do you even know how harmful heat is for my handsome face yet I made all these for you and you had the audacity to not even taste it-' Jin stopped his ranting when he saw Jungkook removing the spoon and directly gulping down the soup and scooping up all the other contents of the bowl...while Namjoon and Yoongi stifled a laugh

' Where were you?' Jungkook asked once he swallowed everything

' Ah...I went to bring your new guard' Jin frowned when the younger sprang up from his seat

' Where is he?'

' I-in the courtyard-' Even before Jin could complete his sentence Jungkook was out of his view

' Where did he go?' Jin turned towards Yoongi

' Did it seem like he told me something?' Yoongi looked done

' Just get out of here already!'Jin scoffed

Namjoon just sighed shaking his head at their bickering as he headed towards the courtyard to find Jungkook

I absolutely don't need a stupid guard now!! Jungkook stormed in.... only to find the courtyard empty

'Where are you?' Jungkook called out.... groaning when he got no response ' You know what? Just stay where you are and listen to me'

He looked around before continuing ' Jin hyung might have brought you here but I don't need a guard to keep me safe in this golden cage provided by your beloved King...So before you regret even coming here..get your ass out of my castl-'

Jungkook stilled when the sharp metal pressed more into his neck...his back against a firm chest.... warm breaths hitting his nape...

' W-who are you?' Jungkook stuttered only to hear a deep chuckle

' Can't even afford to keep yourself safe..yet so full of yourself!' The deep voice grumbled ' That's really a Jeon Jungkook thing to do'

Jungkook's blood boiled at the mocking tone as he held onto the hand holding the sword against his neck... pulling it aside as he turned around... the sword now between them both...when the other brought another sword in between them.. crossing it both in between them.....

Jungkook's grip over the other's wrist loosened the moment his eyes locked with a pair of deep brown orbs...with dark blue locks falling over them softly...the gaze piercing through his soul... stirring up something in his chest

Jungkook lowered the wrist..as if in a trance...as he attempted to see the face hidden behind the shimmery metals..but bad move.... The other took that as his chance to strike... pushing Jungkook away..

Jungkook gasped when his back hit the piller....a hand beside his head caging him while a sword now against his throat....again

But even in a situation like this... where he could be killed any second.... Jungkook couldn't help but be dazed as he took in the view of the person in front of him

Is he real? Jungkook blinked...not being able to bring himself to speak up nor to look away...

Deep blue locks... chocolate eyes... sharp nose and cherry lips....a deadly combination of beauty and strength.... Alluring

' You still sure about not wanting me?' The man rasped out... his deep voice sending chills down Jungkook's spine...his throat going dry at the man's next words 'May be I can be the cure to your pain'

'I think that's enough Taehyung'
