' Prince Hoseok' He began ' The healers have all lost their hope..they did everything they knew.. it's...new for them too...they never have had to treat a vampire...'

Hobi sighed shaking his head..his heart crumbling with helplessness when

' Hyung'

Hobi turned around at the voice.. calmness greeting him at the mere sight of his brother 'Jimin ah'

Jimin stilled for a second..the genuine warmth in Hobi's voice making him doubt many things

' Do you need something' Hobi asked softly

' I..um.. forgive me if it's something wrong' Jimin fumbled ' There..is this friend of mine.. he is a healer. He asked if he could come see the king...'

' All the learned healer have already kept forward their views...what use will this friend of yours be?' The royal advisor..Baek Inwon scoffed

Jimin swallowed the retort he was about to make before looking at Hobi again ' Hyung he was trained in Rivera...you know how blessed the people are who had the good fortune of visiting Rivera...may be he can be of help-'

' Prince I don't think it's-'

' Ask him to come' Hobi said ignoring advisor Baek

'But-'

' Jimin is also a Prince...he too has the right to keep forward his decision as much as I have' Hobi said firmly ' Jiminie's friend will be coming at the earliest.. Make sure he will be taken care of '

Hobi was standing in his balcony....a glass of wine in his hand...which he occasion took a sip off... He was about to turn around and go back inside when he noticed the silver glimmering creature soaring up the sky towards him... The bird sat on his held out arm..his raven orbs now gleaming red as he chuckled What's this bratty Prince upto now

Hobi's smile fell at the message..he quickly rushed back inside his chamber grabbing his bow and arrow before moving towards the phoenix... his eyes glowing blue and red...the silver bird mirroring those colors as he breathed out

'Take me to him'

' I have managed to make him believe that we mean just good....' Jimin rambled ' But Minhyuk ah.... I.. don't feel good about this..I know' He quickly added when he saw Minhyuk opening his mouth to say something 'I know why we are doing this...and am thankful to you for being with me without expecting anything in return but..Hobi hyung trusts me way too much I guess...he-'

' It's all for the show Jimin' Minhyuk scoffed ' He is the crown prince..he is ought to act all kind and loving towards his so called brother in front of the world... it's all just a show'

' But -'

' What's that?' Minhyuk asked looking at the silver bird that flew over them

' Oh... am not sure... hyung..never shared what that is to me...he always leaves ones he sees this bird' Jimin shrugged

' And you never asked about it?'

' I can't question my hyung' Jimin spat ' He has gone missing from the palace for about two years and no one asked him where he went..not even the king... Jung Hoseok was and will never be obliged to answer anything to anyone...'

' Seems like your resolve's breaking Jimin ah' Minhyuk chuckled ' Seems like you love your hyung a bit too much'

' It's nothing like that'

'Then what is it like?'

' I just hate him a little less than others....' Jimin mumbled ' He...did no wrong-'

' He left your side even when he promised to stay' Minhyuk reminded ' The privileges Jung Hoseok is getting should have actually been received by you Jimin..you are the real Prince, the crown belongs to you..Hoseok isn't even the king's son'

Jimin was about to say something back when he saw the bird flying out but this time..it wasn't silver...it was in the color of something which had always fascinated yet scared him..it looked exactly like the color of his Hobi Hyung's eyes

' Hosoek left' Minhyuk pulled him out of his thoughts 'Come with me Jimin'

When Jimin and Minhyuk decided to follow the bird...they never expected to see Jung Hoseok firing arrows at the guards of Astraxus... killing every single one of them...nor did they expect to see two shivering forms just beside the dead soldiers on whom now sat the phoenix. Jimin saw how his hyung shook his head before retreating back to Astrella What is he up to? Why did he kill them

' Is...that the cursed prince?' Jimin asked when he saw Jungkook's bright green eyes ' Minhyuk is that him-'

' Kim Taehyung'

' Who?'

' I need to go'

Jimin frowned when Minhyuk rushed off.. leaving him alone at their hiding... and when he turned back no one was there except the bodies of the warriors

Why did hyung kill them when they didn't even cross the border? Was that really the cursed prince? If yes then who was with him..why did they look so scared.. what's with that bir-

Jimin pouring thoughts came to a sudden stop when he saw Yoongi rushing in with some men...

Park Jimin first saw Min Yoongi the day he had a big fight with the king. He was loosing all hope of a better tomorrow and wanted to do something forbidden... like crossing the borders or feeding on some humans from Astraxus when he saw the ethreal man who guarded the borders that night... And ever since that day Park Jimin would be found hiding behind some trees or bushes admiring the handsome guard whose Serene face never failed to make his mind feel at ease

But today Yoongi looked no where near calm... his already pale face looked extra drained...his eyes roaming around as if searching for something...or someone... He saw how Yoongi ordered the men to take away the bodies..but he frowned when Yoongi picked up a dagger from the ground staring at it for a while before rushing out

' 6 dead...1 injured'

Jimin gasped from his hiding place... He had followed Yoongi earlier.... crossing the borders for the first time in his life just because he didn't like the fear etched on Yoongi's face for whatever reason it was...and thanks to his vampire traits which helped him in blending with the shadows all the way to the castle and now just behind the wall next to a window

Hobi hyung really was on a killer spree it seems..Jimin laughed to himself as he listened to their conversations

'You know what?' Jin cut him off' It was the northern border...no one saw their faces... so let's just put the blame on the vampires'

' What the fuck!' Jimin looked flabbergasted

'That's not right hyung..we can't blame them' Yoongi's voice was heard making Jimin stifle a giggle That's why I love you Min Yoongi

'Then what will you tell the King? That his very dear Jungkookiee and the son of the runaway guard created all these havoc?' Jin rolled his eyes

Run away guard? Jimin frowned

' But that doesn't mean we can just blame them' Jungkook frowned.' Hyung they are innocent-'

The cursed prince doesn't seem that bad...

'Oh they never can be innocent!' Jin chuckled dryly

What's with this man! Jimin wanted to smack him

'What's gotten into you?' Taehyung finally asked 'This isn't like you Jin hyung'

Even this blue haired cute kid also seems nice to me

'Stop deciding things on your own for once ok?'

'Seriously what's wrong with you huh!' Jimin wanted to waltz in and hit the dude but all his mumblings stopped..his heart halting when he heard Yoongi's next words

'Prince of Astrella will never do that because he loves me! He would never do anything which will in anyway hurt me because we both love each other!'

Jimin saw Jin stepping forward as Yoongi begged

'Don't do anything which will increase the rivalry hyung... don't do anything which will make me fight against the one I love'

' Do you still feel like your brother loves you Jimin?' A voice whispered by Jimin's side

'Minhyuk' Jimin whispered.. his eyes filling with tears 'Y-Yoongi loves-'

' Jung Hoseok' Minhyuk completed ' I did tell you that it's all for a show... See how easily he swept the kingdom and Yoongi off right in front of you... See how easily he snatched away everything that rightfully belonged to you... What are you waiting for now Jimin ah? Are you still doubtful about everything? Still ready to sit back and see Hoseok winning over everything that belonged to you?'

' No' Jimin wiped his tears off ' Enough watching and doubting.... I won't let anyone take Yoongi away from me'

' What?' Minhyuk asked..his whole being stilling when he saw Jimin's eyes gleaming crimson

' If I can't have him...no one else can'

The next morning came way too fast for everyone... everyone except Jimin who waited for each second to pass so that he can execute his plan

Jimin knew that Hobi won't sit idle and let anything wrong happen to Yoongi or Jungkook...he might not know it entirely about the last night's events which ended with Jimin sneaking into Yoongi's chamber and reading all the letters that Hobi had written for him
He understood that Jung Hoseok's heart belonged to Yoongi and his soul to Jungkook and Jimin was so ready to destroy everything that Hoseok held close.

He waited the whole morning...waited for Hobi to send out a scroll by the hands of his most trusted man and for Hoseok to leave for god knows where...

He easily sneaked into the palace...perks of being a vampire.. that too a royal one... He reached the stables where he saw Yoongi rambling about how the king will behead him the moment he gets to know about Jungkook

' He won't dare' Jimin spoke up and saw Yoongi turning around..his eyes wide ' No one can hurt you nor Jungkook'

Jimin gulped...Did my plan flop already? He thought but he got his answer soon when Yoongi gasped

'Vampire Prince'

'Your Vampire Prince' Jimin smiled...his smile bright and eyes gleaming as he walked closer to Yoongi..his chest bubbling with happiness 'Finally we meet'

'We did' Yoongi nodded looking totally mesmerized
' You-you look so...enchanting'

Jimin stopped on his tracks...a slight blush on his cheeks ' Says the one'

Yoongi smiled...but it didn't reach his eyes ' You shouldn't have come here...'

'This is where I belong Yoongi' Jimin smiled 'With you...'

'Everyone is blaming Astrella for yesterday's attac-'

'I killed them' Jimin lied ' I had to save Kook and I didn't think much...but don't worry...I already dealt with that'

'How' Yoongi tilted his head...' And whe-'

'Yoongi'

Jimin saw Yoongi going pale I can't let anyone see me now Jimin quickly took out the paper with his name written in it... dropping it onto the ground before rushing past Yoongi...

A satisfied feeling filling him knowing that Yoongi now knows him... just him and not Hobi..but what he didn't know was that there was still a person who has seen the real Vampire Prince... He forgot that Jeon Jungkook had seen and known the real crown prince of Astrella

Yoongi ran towards Hobi's chamber....his mind still filled with the king's order of assigning a new guard for Jungkook as he pushed opened the door without even caring to knock

' What the fuck!'

Yoongi blinked..his cheeks reddening at the sight of Hobi who awkwardly held a pant in front of him trying hard to cover his bare body

'I-sorry' Yoongi turned around.. trying to hide his red cheeks ' Why are you roaming around ass naked so early in the morning'

' For your kind information Min Yoongi this is my chamber and you were the one who had to barge in...what did you even expect to see at this hour instead of me getting ready?'

' The locks on the door is not kept as show piece Jung' Yoongi again turned around... sighing in relief seeing Hobi dressing

' And your pretty hands can do much more that just wielding the sword...may be something like knocking?'

' Whatever' Yoongi rolled his eyes plopping down on the bed

' Why are you here though?' Hobi asked only to see Yoongi going pale 'Yoongs?'

' Hoba...you have been my best friend all this time right? And you know that I trust you more than anyone in this palace'

' More than Kim Namjoon?' Hobi teased.. instantly regretting it at the smack on his arm

' I need one favor from you'

' What is it?' Hobi frowned...he has never seen Yoongi looking so desperate?

' Be Jungkook's guard'

'Huh?'

Yoongi went on to explain everything that happened all this while.. ofcourse excluding his encounter with Jimin

' Jungkook is married? And Taehyung is Jin Hyung's brother?' Hobi asked feining innocence

' Yes' Yoongi nodded ' Ok I know that none of the Astraxians likes being anywhere near to Kook but I don't have anyone else to go to Hoba...you have the full right to reject thi-'

' I'll go'

' What?'

' I will be Jungkook's guard' Hobi shrugged....

' You are fine with it?'

' Yoongi' Hobi sighed leaning down towards Yoongi who was still on the bed ' Did you seriously take me for an asshole like the King? Jungkook is a human too...a kid of just twenty three at that who lost his parents at a very young age... If he finally found someone who loves him without caring about the rumors or about him being cursed then it's our responsibility to keep them both safe'

Yoongi's heart filled with happiness at Hobi's words 'You really are-'

' Also' Hobi smiled... raising his hands cupping Yoongi's cheeks..his skin smooth under his rough hands ' This is the first time you have asked me for something... How am I supposed to say no to you'

Yoongi had his heart beating out of his chest...his skin burning under Hobi's touch ' I need to go'

Yoongi abruptly stood up and reached the door when

' Jung Hoseok will always be at your service Yoongishi... Your wish my command'

The moment the doors opened and an angry Jungkook stepped out he knew how messed things might get if Jungkook doesn't get a hold of his emotions.

A part of him calmed down when he saw Jungkook masking his shock oh so effortlessly just a second after their eyes met

Hobi watched the scene unfolding...the way the King's hatred oozed out of each of his syllables and how hard Jungkook was trying not to break down

'Jungkook ah'

He heard Jin calling out the moment the king left with Namjoon. He saw Jungkook's eyes filling with rage and helplessness and a glint of hope as Jin introduced Hobi as his new guard

'You will regret this' Jungkook's voice was calm... so calm that it scared Hobi...He has never seen the innocent doe eyed boy like this ' Bold of you to think that I will stay away from my husband'

'And bold of you to think that I'll let anyone of you ruin your lives' Jin took in a deep breath ' I can't deal with him anymore.. am leaving.. Yoongi take care of stuff here'

The second Jin left Jungkook's glare found Hobi's blank face who quickly mouthed a 'what?' just Yoongi turned towards him

' I promise' Hobi smiled 'To keep you safe my Prince'

Jungkook's face visibly relaxed with him clearly getting the message behind the smile... He understood that whatever Hobi was doing and whatever he just said was the reply to his plea last night to save them

'Care to introduce yourself?' Jungkook crossed his arms over his chest... trying hard to bite down the smile trying to creep up

' Am Jung Hoseok'

Yoongi frowned seeing how both of them were just staring at each other ' I think you both should warm up to each other? I'll meet Tae and come'

' So my new guard huh?' Jungkook blurted out as soon as Yoongi was out of sight

' Didn't you hear what Yoongi said a minute ago?' Hobi rolled his eyes

' Why are you so salty?' Jungkook exclaimed

' You got married without me!!' Hobi whisper yelled... his hands flailing dramatically ' Without me..your Vampire hyung who had been with you through thick and thin and this is what I get???? I had to hear about your wedding through a freaking winged creature!'

' It's a magical bird' Jungkook cleared

' It's still a winged creature'

' Dramatic' Jungkook rolled his eyes ' Am going to meet my husband'

' No you are not' Hobi stopped him

' Huh?'

' I am here for a reason Jungkook' Hobi's playful tone was now replaced by a serious one

' If it's about whatever Namjoon hyung said-'

' It's not about him' Hobi interrupted ' It's about Taehyung. I need to make sure that he loves you'

' What rubbish is this?' Jungkook snapped ' What do you even mean? He loves me more than life itself hyung why else would he be with me-'

' You are a sorcerer prince Jungkook' Hobi reasoned out 'You have powers that are even unknown to you and I don't want anyone to take advantage of you just for your powers'

' Think whatever you want hyung' Jungkook's voice deepened ' But I trust my Taehyung more than anyone'

'And I hope it remains the same' Hobi smiled ' Stay away from him'

Jungkook was in his chamber... sulking.. when Hobi walked in

' Don't you know how to knock?'

Hobi just rolled his eyes at the bratty Prince ' Why haven't you eaten yet'

' I won't eat nor drink until I see my husband and makes sure he is fine' Jungkook sat up..his hands folded over his chest

' Taehyung is fine...he just left to his chamber after having his dinner' Hobi lied and saw Jungkook going silent 'What? You were starving and look at him...he doesn't even care'

' Hyung' Jungkook sighed ' You asked me to stay away just so you could test Taehyung's love for me...then why are you here.. lying to me? I know my Taehyung more than I know myself Hobi hyung... I don't have to see him nor talk to him to understand what's going on in his head. Our relationship is not something you people would understand.. it's beyond human perception or in your case beyond the limits of how much a vampire can comprehend... I didn't intend to belittle you..nor any need for me to make you feel small to show how great our love is....No...I know that you are looking out for me and am thankful to you...All I had to say was...that me and Taehyung...our souls became one even before we knew it...we have found our missing pieces in each other... And no matter what the world says he is the only cure to my every pain...Kim Taehyung is Jeon Jungkook's eternal salvation no matter what life it is'

' The hidden court' Hobi breathed out ' Let it remain hidden'

' Huh?' Jungkook blinked

' Let Taehyung and you be the only ones who know about its existence...' Hobi smiled turning around

' Hyung wait' Jungkook jumped out of the bed 'Really?'

' I understood that...that boy will easily destroy himself if it's for you Kook...' Hobi had a weak smile ' He holds that kind of love which is extremely selfless and rare... I can't do the sin of separating him from you.. but Jungkook ah.. deeds done under the night sky are said to be sinful and tainted...In a single word... Forbidden'

' The love we have has always been forbidden hyung' Jungkook chuckled dryly..his heart aching at the harsh truth

' The love you have...is Divine' Hobi held his hand 'Your love is so divine that it's beyond the perception of everything good and bad...blessed and sinful... And amongst the sins of the night...let your divinity shine bright...'

Jungkook felt like crying at Hobi's words

'Let the moon fill the chapters of your life in the beautiful ink of the starry sky so that if ever in future someone finds out about the story of Taehyung's Smeraldo...then the brightest stars will reflect the purity of the love you had...and the moon will wield the divinity of the bond you shared'

And that night Taehyung and Jungkook found their safe place in each other's arms and their love found its perfect haven in their Night Court

And I know I again started with the past..I tried to avoid it but its necessary for the story line as am trying to join all the dots and I hope you all aren't finding it too lagging
