' So what are we doing today?' Jungkook asked hugging Taehyung from behind as the elder arranged the weapons

' Today?' Taehyung leaned back onto Jungkook's chest 'Hmmm..let me think...'

' Take your time' Jungkook smiled turning Taehyung around who was quick to snake his arms around Jungkook's neck

' You are doing well with swords' Taehyung nodded

' I am' Jungkook leaned down pecking the elder's bread cheeks

' You are also reading those books' Taehyung stated remembering seeing Jungkook being hunched up in the library with JaeHoon's books

' I am' Jungkook again pecked his cheeks

' You are also healed properly now' Taehyung smiled as Jungkook hummed kissing his cheeks after mumbling a small I am

' I think we should take a break today' Jungkook nodded himself ' Don't you think so?'

' No'

Taehyung jumped back from Jungkook's arms scared as hell at the new voice in the chamber...his eyes wide as he stared at Yoongi who walked in with a teasing smile

' You guys seriously need to be careful' Yoongi laughed

' Why are you here?' Jungkook rolled his eyes

' Yaa you brat!!' Yoongi looked betrayed 'Just because your bambi boy said yes doesn't mean you will get rid of me'

' You know??' Both Taehyung and Jungkook exclaimed together

' Seeing the way you clung onto Taehyung..and the way Taehyung had heart eyes looking at you..I just guessed' Yoongi shrugged

' You are fine with it?' Jungkook asked nervously

' I have always been and you both know it' Yoongi smiled but was taken aback when Jungkook suddenly jumped into his arms hugging him

' You are the best hyung ever!!!'

Yoongi laughed hugging him back ' Even though I'd love it if you had accepted that truth in front of Jin hyung..but right now I'd really appreciate it if you would loosen your hold a bit..I can't breath Kook!'

' You have grown old grandpa' Jungkook loosened his arms  but still didn't let go of Yoongi who was equally clinging onto him

' It's not about my age!! It's just you being an overgrown bunny' Yoongi scoffed before smiling lovingly ' Be happy always my little prince... hyung will take care of everything'

Jungkook felt overwhelmed as he closed his eyes hiding his face into Yoongi's neck nodding

' Yaa Kim Taehyung' Yoongi called holding out his hand 'Come here'

Taehyung broke out into the widest of grins as he too walked into Yoongi's arms as the elder hugged them both tightly

'Whenever you both feel scared...no matter what it is... don't hesitate to call hyung... I promise to fight against any of you both's fears till my last breath'

' She is so.... magnificent!' Taehyung exclaimed totally awestruck

' I know right' Yoongi smiled proudly rubbing the deep black velvety fur of the horse ' She is my personal favorite and I'll skin you both alive if something happens to my baby!'

' She sure is a beauty' Jungkook murmured turning towards Yoongi ' But why..are you giving her to us?'

' Because I want a specific prince to excel in everything' Yoongi smiled ' I want him to know things that a real prince is supposed to know'

Jungkook looked down at his boots..guilt tugging at his heart 'Am sorry for being an asshole and ignoring all your attempts in making me perfect hyung'

' I don't want you to be perfect Jungkook ah' Yoongi squeezed the younger's shoulder 'I just want to bring out the real you who has a lot of potential to be someone more than a locked away prince..and Since you have a pretty guard who will gladly beat your ass if you misbehave am just doing my share of help'

' Just say you don't find it in yourself to scold' Jungkook scoffed playfully as Yoongi turned back towards the horse

' No one finds it easy to scold their kids' Yoongi shrugged caressing the fur again

Jungkook's smile faltered..his eyes filling with gratitude as he looked at Yoongi 'I won't disappoint you this time hyung'

' I trust you kid' Yoongi smiled looking at them 'And you too Tae...take care of yourself too'

' Sure hyung' Taehyung nodded ' Ah... hyung.. what's her name?'

Yoongi was walking into the barracks when he felt a swift movement behind him.. making him turn around quickly... His deep black eyes carefully scanned the surrounding for any potential threat... frown deepening when nothing out of order was noticed...and that was until he felt a warm breath over his nape making him again turn... sighing when saw the place empty

But a smile was quick to grace his lips when he saw a rolled up scroll at his feet... Yoongi was soon to pick it up and rush inside his chamber.. closing the door behind..perks of being the Prince's best friend/guard..he has his own chamber in the barracks

Yoongi sat down on his bed... unrolling the scroll..his feline eyes dancing through the alphabets as his heart filled with nothing less than love

' You ready?' Taehyung looked at the big doe eyes staring at him..with fear and excitement

' I guess' Jungkook laughed nervously

' Come on you don't have to be scared.. I'll be with you' Taehyung cupped his cheeks...' Just hold onto my hand if you are scared yeah?'

Jungkook smiled nodding as he climbed onto Nyx's back with Taehyung's guidance before the elder too climbed up... just behind him 'You alright there?'

'Totally' Jungkook grinned...his back resting against Taehyung's chest.. totally enjoying it

' Now hold onto this' Taehyung said guiding Jungkook's arms ' Pulling on the reins can be used to control the movements of the horse..but even for that firstly you need to have a good connection with them..got it?'

' Yeah' Jungkook nodded again.. not listening to even a single thing Taehyung said... But you can't blame him..how was he supposed to concentrate on anything when Taehyung had his long slender fingers wrapped over his fist..his veiny arms gliding over his arm and his warm breath tickling his nape..oh come on Jungkook would rather prefer lacking some skills than missing this feeling on having Taehyung this close to him

' Koo?' Taehyung called but the younger seemed to be lost in some thoughts.. making him frown

'Jungkook!!'

Jungkook was startled by the sudden voice of Taehyung piercing in through his thoughts making him abruptly turn his head around...their noses brushing against each other

A shiver ran down Taehyung's spine when he saw Jungkook's eyes darting towards his lips...the younger's tongue poking against the insides of his cheeks as his continued staring

' L-let's go'

And even before Jungkook could respond to that Taehyung had pulled reins and Nyx took off

' What th hell!!! Hyung' Jungkook screamed..his eyes shut close

' Relax Koo' Taehyung laughed

' No..this is so scary..am not ready..stop this please!!' Jungkook continued yelling

Taehyung sighed.. letting one hand wrap around Jungkook's waist while his other hand held the reins 'Lean onto me Precious...and open your eyes..Hyung won't let go..'

Jungkook relaxed at the feeling of having Taehyung's arm around him..He slowly opened his eyes..calming his racing heart as he slowly relished in the feeling of having the cool breeze against his skin

' This feels so good' He breathed out...a big smile on his lips

' Told you' Taehyung mumbled giggling

Jungkook let go of the rein... letting both his arms wide open as he embraced the wind...his eyes closing again as he snuggled into Taehyung chest... feeling the elder's laughter against his back.. before opening his eyes again

' Tae' He called out.. taking the reins in his hands again

' Hmm' Taehyung hummed..now resting his head on Jungkook's shoulder

' I love you'

Taehyung..even though taken aback by the sudden confession was quick to leave a peck over the prince's cheek ' I love you too my Smeraldo'

' Am loving that name' Jungkook laughed

' As you should' Taehyung grinned cheekily.. letting go of the reins completely...

They continued to ride the horse for a while until Taehyung decided it's enough for the day..as he got down

' Come down Kook' Taehyung said holding his hand out

' No..I want to do it again' Jungkook declared

' Wh-'

' No you can't do that!'

' I want to'

' It's your boyfriend's order!' Taehyung smriked at the defeated look on Jungkook's face

Taehyung walked a bit back.. looking at Jungkook..his frenzy heart calming down at the sight of the gleaming orbs and crinkling nose of the Prince whose happy laughter echoed through the place

' I told you nothing will happen' Jungkook called out... looking at Taehyung..who just shook his head

' I was worried for you my Prince' Taehyung rolled his eyes

' Ofcourse!' Jungkook chuckled

' Kook...' Taehyung's smile faltered 'I think you should slow down'

' Oh come on Tiger... you are getting worried for nothing-'

' Jungkook!' Taehyung's blood ran cold when he saw Nyx almost levading.. throwing Jungkook down onto the ground from its back

Taehyung ran in..his eyes already filling with tears and hands shaking in fear as he kneeled beside Jungkook helping him in sitting up

' Where is it hurting?' Taehyung asked.. frantically searching for any wounds

' Agh..Tae..it hurts so bad..ah my hand!' Jungkook cried out in pain

' I told you it's dangerously' Taehyung's voice wavered as he held onto Jungkook's hand... rolling up his sleeves to get a better view ' You never listen-'

' Look at you being all cute worrying for me' Jungkook chuckled as he took back his hand from Taehyung's hold

' Huh?' Taehyung looked puzzled

' Am fine my Bambi...Am not hurt at all' Jungkook smiled but that didn't last long when he saw thick fat tears trailing down Taehyung's cheeks making him panic 'Tae..heyy What's wrong? Why are you crying!'

' You are an asshole!!' Taehyung cried out..his hands fisted up as he hit the younger's chest..'You... you scared me...I thought you w-were hurt and-'

' Shh' Jungkook held onto his hand...' Look at me'

Taehyung raised his gleaming orbs to look at Jungkook whose heart broke at the very sight

' Am sorry baby' He said wiping of the tears 'I was just playing with you'

Taehyung pouted..an angry frown on his face which Jungkook found rather cute..

' Go am not talking with you' Taehyung huffed almost standing up when

' Want to see something Bambi?' Jungkook asked with a gleaming smile

' What?' Taehyung tried to act uninterested

' This' So saying Jungkook opened his palm....a sparkling glow raising up...swirling around mid air as a red and blue hue flew in....before it slowly started taking the appearance of something beautiful

Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked at it wonderstruck... He stood up walking towards it... raising his hand touch it

' Don't touch the red side' Jungkook was quick to warn with a smile ' That's real fire and water'

'This is so beautiful' Taehyung breathed out looking at it...'This-'

' Our elemental energy' Jungkook stood beside him

' Our?'

' Hmmm' He smiled ' I found about this magic in appa's book... I can focus on both our elemental energies... centering it to a single form...'

' So this...fire and water... that's our-'

' You are the water to my fire Tae' Jungkook held his hand..' It's said that Fire has yang energies and water has yin energy...but can't exist without each other...they both balance each other's qualities...'

' Oh' Taehyung felt his heart flutter at that.. they are like the Yinyang...the complete absoluteness of all aspects and phenomena of life...as if they are made for each other...He looked up again ' And what's with the sun and moon'

' Sun and moon....a beautiful yet tragic love story' Jungkook smiled sadly ' The sun and moon have been lovers for so long..yet their love for each has always been forbidden... They chased each other..day and night..even after knowing that the universe will never let them be together...just like us..Our love is also so forbidden Tae...'

Taehyung's heart ached when he saw the pain in Jungkook's eyes ' We will get our eclipse one day my Smeraldo...a day when our love will shine brightly for all to see... And our love will be known far and long as the tale of longing...a love that transcends space and time'

Jungkook closed his eyes hugging Taehyung.. the Yin yang vanishing into thin air and they hugged...

' Even if we won't find our eclipse in this life... I promise to find you in our next one..' Jungkook promised kissing the elder's forehead ' And no matter how long we have to chase each other....there will be a day when we will catch up'

Taehyung smiled..a sob leaving him as he buried his head into Jungkook's neck... Despite the ache in their chest and the fear clawing at their hearts...they were determined to hold onto each other till their last breath... not knowing that no farewell has ever been easy...that every new beginning is always preceded by the most heart wrenching ending...

Yoongi sighed ' I need both of you back here before dawn..alive'

' Thankyou so much!!' Jungkook jumped onto Yoongi.. hugging him tightly

' I'll withdraw the guards from around the forest' Yoongi smiled ' Just make sure no one sees you'

' Are you sure of this?' Taehyung mumbled as he got on Nyx's back... waiting for Jungkook to follow behind

' Don't worry my dear Taehyungie... your prince is capable of taking care of us both' Jungkook pulled the reins as Nyx took off.... carrying them both gracefully as they navigated through the lush greenery

Jungkook's hand had found it's place around Taehyung's waist..their bodies flush against each other's..with his breath tickling Taehyung's ears making him feel a whole zoo of butterflies in his tummy

The moonlight casted a soft glow over the forest... illuminating the path they took on... the stars twinkling above them and the cool night breeze just made the ambience all the more magical and romantic...but both their hearts skipped a beat when they stumbled upon a hidden clearing adorned with shimmering fireflies dancing around them...

' This looks so.... enchanting' Taehyung exclaimed looking around...

' Truely enchanting' Jungkook whispered..his eyes never leaving Taehyung's glowing face

' W-what are you doing?' Taehyung stuttered when he felt Jungkook leaving small butterfly kisses on his nape...' Koo'

' I love you' Jungkook sat straight.... before slowing getting down from the horse... holding his hand out for Taehyung..who too followed behind ' Taehyung ah'

Taehyung looked at his love who oh so softly held his arms... drawing random patterns on the back of his hand

' This is the first time after my appa's death that am stepping out of that castle...first time of me breathing fresh air like a normal human' Jungkook had a soft smile but the pain in his voice was way too evident
' You... Taehyung..have always been my first in everything...my first love...my first muse...my first kiss..my first guard' Both of them chuckled ' And now...I would love to experience my every first with you Bambi...and want to stay with you till my last breath...Will you let me do that?Will you let me stay by your side?'

' Always' Taehyung stepped forward pulling the younger down.. joining their lips..Time seemed to stand still at that moment..as if the whole world faded away.. leaving their love and the magical night behind...the fireflies still danced around them as they poured all their longing..desire and love that the world would never understand

' Koo' Taehyung moaned as Jungkook bit on to his smooth skin.. nibbling there...trailing red marks down his neck... The Prince's grip around the elder's waist tightening as Taehyung bared his head back allowing more access... letting Jungkook have his way with him

Jungkook pulled back... looking straight at Taehyung whose deep grey orbs glowed like stars..and his lips swollen and glistening..the moonlight casted a soft glow on his face... making him look nothing less that a divine form

Both of them were still lost in each other's eyes when they heard a voice near them

' Whose there?'

Yoongi held the letter in his arms... reading it again..a soft smile on his lips as he leaned back on his chair...

' I wish I'd meet you soon my Prince' Yoongi mumbled..and was about to take the ink and paper when he heard a knock before his door opened

Yoongi jumped up from his chair.. turning around...his eyes wide in horror as he hid the letter behind him..

' Jin hyung'

' What are you doing?' Jin looked at him suspiciously 'You look scared?'

' N-nothing hyung' Yoongi shook his head mentally scolding himself for stuttering as he crumbled the letter in his shaking hands ' Was just about to sleep'

' Oh...' Jin nodded 'Then I'll leave... Good night Yoongi ah'

' Wait...why did you come?' Yoongi stopped him

' I was getting bored...the very few soldiers in the barracks are already asleep...and am too tired to visit Tae and Kook...and you know how things are with Namjoon-'

' Wait' Yoongi frowned ' Very few soldiers? Why? I did tell everyone to take the night off '

' Yeah.. but Namjoon thought it's risky to leave the borders unsupervised..so he asked some of the soldiers  to go'

' Wha-why was I not informed?' Yoongi's heart dropped

'I..am not sure-'

' Where are they?' Yoongi cut him off...'The soldiers..where are they being sent to?'

' The forest'

Taehyung's eyes widened as he stepped closer to Jungkook... both of them looking towards the direction from which the voice came and saw some people in a very familiar uniform

' It's the palace guards! Run!' Jungkook exclaimed taking hold of Taehyung's arms before running....

' What are they doing here?' Taehyung asked pulling his hood over his head ' They weren't supposed to be here'

' I don't know..but we are fucked if they find us!' Jungkook breathed out

' Put on your hood!' Taehyung panted..his hold over Jungkook's arms tightening as the voices behind the neared...' T-they are coming closer Koo'

' Lets hide there' Jungkook said pulling the elder with him..both of them getting behind a big rock

' I won't let them even touch you' Taehyung mumbled as he pulled out the dager Yoongi gave him...

' Nor will I' Jungkook mumbled..his eyes glowing green as a bright silver hue appeared in front of them taking in the form of a phoenix ' We need help'

Taehyung stared as the magical bird flew off 'What was that?'

' It-'

' Here they are!'

Taehyung and Jungkook turned around...their hearts dropping to their stomach as they saw a soldier right behind them... approaching them with a sly smirk seeing which Taehyung got on his feet...the dagger held out

' Aren't you the cursed prince?... I saw the magical bird-' Beefore the soldier could speak any further
Taehyung had buried the dagger deep in the soldier's stomach.. wiping off that sickening smirk...Blood splashed all over as Taehyung plunged back the dagger again and again until the guard stopped moving while Jungkook stared in horror at the scene unfolding

Approaching footsteps were heard again making Jungkook hold on to a frozen Taehyung....who was staring at the bloodied dagger and hands

' Taehyung come!'

Both of them darted through the trees.. breathless and fearfilled...the footsteps of the soldiers behind them echoing through the calmness of the forest..their hearts pounding in their chest as they searched for safety only to come to an abrupt stop as five soldiers covered them from all sides...

Taehyung stood in front of Jungkook.. shielding him..making sure the younger's hood is in place...the dagger firm in his palm as his sharp gaze pierced in through their souls...

(Imagine a dagger in the place of the sword and him with blue hair)

' Get them!' One of the soldier yelled as all of them rushed forward...

' Koo run!!' Taehyung yelled before lunging forward with his dagger... attacking the royal guards..their blood painting the emerald dagger crimson

Jungkook was rooted to his place...his whole body shaking as he saw Taehyung trying to keep the guards from reaching him... Images from the past filled his head.. making him remind of the day when his appa was killed

Loud screams echoed through the forest pulling Jungkook out of his trance only for him to see all the soldiers on the ground...bathed in their own blood..with arrows dug into their chest...

The silver bird which Jungkook had sent now had a tint of blue and red on it..as it sat on top of one of the dead soldier before disintegrating into thin air

Taehyung scrambled his way towards Jungkook... quickly cupping his cheeks 'Jungkook...are you alright?'

' Tae' Jungkook breathed out..his voice breaking... 'Tae..you are fine...'

' I am.. Koo' Taehyung nodded his head frantically...both their cheeks wet with tears ' Am fine'

Jungkook quickly hugged him... burying his head into Taehyung's neck.. breathing in the soft scent of lavender....but both their actions stopped when they heard another voice...

' Taehyung'
