Jungkook walked back to his chamber... exhaustion boring into his bones with each step... The training went well... ending up with Taehyung being utterly in awe of how quick Jungkook was learning despite his unhealed wound. 

The prince walked straight into the bathroom...the hot water easing up his strained muscles... washing away his tiredness but he was not in a mindset to acknowledge any of it...all he could think..even in the middle of the sword training was Taehyung's words

Jungkook automatically wore his clothes after drying himself...his slow steps halting at his bedside as he sat himself down... leaning back carefully... resting his back against the head of the bed before sinking into the sheets

He sighed..a plethora of emotions swirling in him.... Jungkook knew it was a risky game....knew his life was going to be turned upside down the moment he saw the blue haired bambi boy in the royal garden years ago....knew he was deeply in love with someone even before he understood what those slight flutter in his heart ever meant...he knew that he'd be-they would be destroyed...but all he needed was Taehyung by his side...and if Taehyung is ready to burn in their love..then he'd gladly sacrifice anything...he will happily go any extend.. he'd gladly bring down the whole kingdom which once his father built up with his blood and tears.... Call him selfish but Jungkook had suffered enough and he wasn't ready to suffer anymore...But-

Jungkook stilled when he felt something hard poking his neck...he sat up..only to see something peeking out from under the pillow and that's when it struck him Taehyung's diary!!

He scrambled out of his bed rushing towards the door locking it... He turned around... looking at the black book on his bed... biting onto his lips.. contemplating what he was about to do...

You shouldn't read someone else's diary Jungkook!! His rational mind screamed at him...but his delicate little heart screamed louder... compelling him to move forward and pick up the book before sinking into the silk sheets..

Am sorry Tae... Jungkook murmured.. clutching onto the book looking at the carving on the front cover

Jungkook's heart rate picked up as he turned the page...his heart aching at the blotches on the paper smudging the ink.. clearly showing how hard Taehyung must have cried while writing it..but his whole heart broke all over again when he read what was written

Jungkook jumped down from the bed.. ignoring the pain in his abdomen as he ran out..the diary now forgotten on his bed as he made his way out in search of Taehyung...

' Tae' He called out.. wiping the tears off his cheeks as he ran into the court room where he guess he'd find Taehyung only to stop on his tracks when he saw a red eyed Jin and an angry Yoongi beside a stunned Taehyung

'I should leave' Jin quickly said.. avoiding Jungkook's eyes as he dashed out....

Yoongi sighed looking at Jungkook 'Namjoon is declared as the next king...and he will soon be married'

' He what!' Jungkook blurted out

' Namjoon agreed to do anything in return of your life... and Jongwook just played his card..' Yoongi shrugged 'I don't think Jin hyung should be alone at this moment'

' Jin hyung?' Jungkook frowned

' I'll get going'

Jungkook watched as Yoongi walked out before he turned towards Taehyung... He needs answers...a lot of questions filled his head but before everything else

' Hyung I want to ask you something' Jungkook exclaimed restlessly Please tell me am your smeraldo 'Hyung am I your-'

' This can't be happening' Taehyung mumbled..his eyes wide and face pale

' Wh-'

' Jin hyung left everything for Namjoon hyung' Taehyung breathed out.. cutting of Jungkook mid sentence ' Jin hyung could have been the chief but he left everything behind for the one he loved... for the one who promised to come back for him and that was Namjoon hyung?'

Even though half the things Taehyung said went over his head..he didn't dare say a word seeing how lost Taehyung was looking as he continued

' The only person he had ever loved will be snatched away from right in front of him...he will have to see the only person he had ever wanted to be by his side with someone else...the only hand he had dreamed of holding will now hold someone's else' Taehyung raised his head looking at Jungkook..the prince's heart dropping at the way Taehyung's eyes filled with fear ' I am not strong like him Jungkook... Jungkook stilled..his heart skipping a beat as he stared at the elder... refusing to believe what he just heard but Taehyung just continued unaware of the turmoil in Jungkook's mind

' I love you Jungkook' A tear slipped down Taehyung's eyes 'I always have....ever since the King told me about his emerald eyed son...Ever since I saw the gleaming green eyes while you were playing with the queen in the palace... I was just eight Jungkook but those eyes of yours already had me under it's spell... Those beautiful eyes had me so enchanted that it got me falling for you...the sight of you was so addictive that even after eighteen years my heart kept calling for you...and now after knowing you this close I fell so badly again t-that I'll rather die than seeing you with someone else... I c-can't loose you Jungkook...I-'

Taehyung's helpless ranting stopped as a pair of lips came crashing to his own... swallowing up his words as an arm wrapped around his waist and one on the side of his neck... Taehyung closed his eyes... relaxing into the kiss....tilting his head... parting his lips for Jungkook to slip in his tongue which the younger gladly did...

Jungkook's fingers dug into the elder's waist as he pushed Taehyung back... against the pillar behind him...both of them sharing a long passionate kiss.. pouring in all their love and longing

Taehyung's heart beat out of his chest...his hands still shaking as he took in every moment of their shared bliss...his fingers curled over the soft fabric over Jungkook's chest pulling him closer

Jungkook parted their lips..his hands still resting against Taehyung's waist and neck as he looked deep in his eyes...his dark grey orbs shining like silver as they stared back at him.... He leaned forward joining their forheads...both of their eyes still closed ' I love you Taehyung'

Taehyung blinked his tears off... only to look directly into the emerald ones of the younger... standing straight as he rested his hands over Jungkook's that were now cupping his cheeks ' Am sorry for hurting you all this while.... I was scared t-that someone will take me away from you..but after seeing Jin hyung today I understood that...that I will never be able to give you away to someone else...I-'

' Shh' Jungkook kept his hand over Taehyung's mouth hushing him 'I know... Hyung...you don't have to apologize...And am not going anywhere leaving you here'

' Promise me' Taehyung mumbled..his voice soft as if afraid of breaking the delicate bubble they were in

' I promise you my Bambi...' Jungkook said rubbing small circles over the elders waist ' If you ever go down.. I'll go down with you..and if I ever get out of this hell...then that would be with you only'

' But what if it's you who falls first?' Taehyung asked..his eyes watering again ' Y-your promise...wh-why does it feel like you will leave me the very instant if something goes wrong with you?'

Jungkook smiled at the adorable male in his arms.. trying to hide the growing ache in his chest 'I won't be at peace if you aren't safe Tae...If ever something goes wrong someday with me...my first priority will be your safety..so that even if I die you will be sa -'

' I'll also die' Taehyung stopped him ' If were are to live..we will live together..and if we are to die..then we will die together'

' Tae' Jungkook bit his trembling lips

' Let's love each other with everything we have my Smeraldo' Taehyung rested his head against the younger's chest 'Whatever time is left with us.. let's love each other beyond every limits'

' I love you' Jungkook pulled him closer into his chest..his heart feeling as if bleeding ' I love you so much'

Yoongi rushed out of the castle.. roughly wiping off his tears as he sat in the garden... His hands shaking violently as fear crept up his bones...

Yoongi had came back to ask Taehyung about Jungkook's training when he heard their painful confession...even though he didn't intend on eaves dropping he couldn't find it in himself to even move a feet at the pain in both of their voice

' I can't let them go through what Jin hyung is going through' Yoongi shook his head ' I'll have to save them..yeah..'

He stood up.. mumbling to himself as if gone crazy... His eyes suddenly filled with an unknown determination as his ramblings stopped

' I'll make them both leave Astraxus as soon as possible'

' So smeraldo?' Jungkook asked brushing his fingers through Taehyung's blue locks..both of them laying on Taehyung's bed

' Hmm..' Taehyung hummed into his chest ' It means emerald... All I knew about you was the color of your beautiful eyes...and I didn't dare call the prince by his name...so I named you My Smeraldo'

' Your Smeraldo' Jungkook mumbled 'Sounds so good'

Taehyung giggled softly as he looked up at Jungkook through his long lashes ' Shouldn't we start training Koo?'

' Tomorrow' Jungkook's hugged him tightly 'Let me have a day of peace with my boyfriend'

' Am your boyfriend?' Taehyung raised his head again only for Jungkook to pull him back into his chest

' Aren't you?' Jungkook asked playfully when he saw the mischievous smile on his guard

' Not yet' Taehyung shook his head..

' What will this lowly servant of yours have to do to claim that priceless title?'

Taehyung burst out laughing at Jungkook's antics 'You will have to court me properly Jeon Jungkook...am not that easy to get'

' So you want me to court you...take you out on cute dates spend time with you and give presents to you? Jungkook asked pecking the top of his head

' Yes' Taehyung nodded cheekily

' Ok' Jungkook said flipping their position with Taehyung now under them...

' Ok?' Taehyung asked..a bright red blush spreading over his cheeks as Jungkook leaned closer

' Yes... I'll do as you wish your highness' Jungkook nibbled on his lips... before continuing 'Before that..let me have my reward...you have kept me starving for way too long'

Taehyung closed his eyes.. smiling into the kiss as Jungkook showered him in his love

Both of them doesn't no what dangers the future hold for them...they have no idea about the miseries about to come knocking at their door steps..but all they know is that no matter what..Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook will never leave each other's hand...

His silhouette glided gracefully through the shadows.. blending seamlessly with the dark..his steps swift and moves calculated.. making his presence elusive and motive unknown. He moved stealthy without making a single noise when loud rushed footsteps interrupted his action.. making him halt his every movement... listening carefully to the steps approaching him

He pulled the hood closer.. making haste steps towards the stairs when he collided into a hard chest..his grip over the hood loosening.. making it slip on to the ground with a hand coming around him holding him place as he clung onto someone's shoulder for his dear life

Taehyung opened his eyes... meeting the gleaming green ones as Jungkook's face came into view under the moonlight

' Koo?' Taehyung stepped back.. his face draining off color as Jungkook walked past him... lighting up the candles

' Where did you go?' Jungkook asked ones he took in the view of Taehyung

' I..was just here Kook-'

' Don't lie' Jungkook's frown deepened

' I am not' Taehyung said trying to sound confident

' Oh really?' Jungkook crossed his arm over his chest 'Then why do you have your hood with you?'

Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked down at the fabric on the floor ' I..'

' I swear to god Taehyung if you sneaked back into the palace agai-'

' I didn't do anything like that!' Taehyung huffed ' I was just out getting some air and for a precaution had my hood with me so that no one will notice my bright blue hair! We just got into a relationship two days back and you already started doubting me?'

' What? No don't say it like that' Jungkook shook his head stepping closer and hugging the elder 'I trust you hyung and you know it... I was just worried...'

' Am fine Koo...' Taehyung nuzzled into his neck Am sorry for lying Jungkook

Jungkook slowly pulled back from the hug ' Let's go to bed?'

' Yeah' Taehyung nodded walking towards his chamber when- 'Why were you coming from upstairs? You were sleeping in my chamber'

Jungkook's steps halted..his arm around Taehyung loosening as he looked at Taehyung

' You seemed like you were running...you were panting hard too when you caught me from falling' Taehyung tilted his head in confusion as he saw the hesitance on Jungkook's face 'Is everything alright?'

' Yes' Jungkook was quick to nod his head 'Everything's alright...I..I woke up and found the bed empty..so I went looking around for you but couldn't find you anywhere..and that made me a bit scared..so I was rushing down to search for you'

' Oh..' Taehyung felt bad for whatever he was doing 'Am so sorry Kookie'

' It's fine my babyy' Jungkook pecked his cheeks 'Now let's go..and cuddle me to sleep'

Taehyung nodded happily as he pulled Jungkook along with him to the chamber...

Jungkook's smile faltered as he let Taehyung drag him away...his eyes falling on their interwined hands
