Taehyung's sword stopped mid air..his face mortified as he turned towards the Prince ' What are y-you talking about?'

' Don't act dumb Taehyung' Jungkook chuckled 'I saw your scared face when Jin and Joon hyung were fighting about if it's right or wrong....'

' I am sorry' Taehyung knelt down.. holding his head low ' I..know you might be even disgusted to look at me-'

' Taehyung stand-'

' Please don't tell anyone...I did try to change but no matter what I couldn't bring myself to like any woman...I don't want anyone to raise even a finger at my Jin hyung because of me-' Taehyung's rambling stopped when a pair of arms held him by his shoulder.. pulling him onto his feet

' Kim Taehyung listen to me' Jungkook said firmly 'Its nothing to be ashamed of or to be blamed for... it's your choice to love whoever you want and you shouldn't give two flying fucks about what people will think about it...'

' But-'

' Shh' Jungkook kept his finger over the younger's lips..his own heart skipping a beat at how soft those cherry lips were under his touch

Taehyung felt his cheeks and ears burning...his wide Bambi eyes darting between the hand on his lips and the prince who was just staring until he cleared his throat

' As I was saying' Jungkook composed himself taking a step back...'I don't feel disgusted of you...and no.. I won't tell anyone..I promise'

Jungkook saw Taehyung hesitantly nodding ' Kim Taehyung...since I know one of your secrets... I'll also tell you one of mine'

Taehyung's eyes lit up at that as looked at Jungkook who chuckled

' So...' Jungkook started ' I am searching for way in which I could sneak into the palace'

' The palace!!?' Taehyung asked flabbergasted ' Why the palace? Jongwook will kill you the moment he gets a hint of you in there-'

' I need to save my eomma' Jungkook stopped him 'I need to get her out of the dungeon and take away from this stupid Kingdom'

' So you want to run away with her?' Taehyung asked as Jungkook nodded...

' There is nothing left for both of us here...and if only I could get her out of there we both can just run away to some far off place where we will be safe...'

'Oh..' Taehyung nodded seemingly lost in some thoughts ' You need to train properly before that'

'Huh?'

' Even if Jongwook somehow manages to catch you..you need to have proper knowledge about how to use your weapons and your magic so you can take the Queen safely out of there ' Taehyung explained 'And don't worry I'll make sure you get into the palace safely'

' You aren't doing anything!' Jungkook refused ' Jongwook will recognize you in a heartbeat Taehyung!You aren't leaving the castle until and unless Jin hyung arranges a safe place for you'

' Why... are you helping me?' Taehyung asked...a question that has been bugging him ever since Jin told him the truth about their appa ' You hate guards then why are you helping me?'

You still idn't recognize me Tae? Jungkook thought smiling softly ' As you know I lied about your appa... Truth to be told..he was the one who saved me from being killed...I..he was like a father figure to me until he escaped from Jongwook's clutches with you and Jin hyung...I owe him my life so I have to make sure that both his sons will be fine'

' You know...you are not as bad as I thought you'd be' Taehyung mumbled earning a questioning look from the prince ' I thought you'd be just like the rest of the royals...mean and arrogant'

' So am not any of those?' Jungkook asked walking closer ' Then how am I?'

' You?...' Taehyung's heart beats increased as Jungkook closed the distance between them slowly

' Tell me'

' You are kind...a-and understanding...' Taehyung gulped at the close proximity..he could literally feel Jungkook's heat on him ' A-and annoying at times..b-but still has a warm heart that hold his loved ones close'

' Jungkook' The prince breathed out..his breath hitting Taehyung's lips

' What?' Taehyung frowned

' Call me by my name...' Jungkook smiled

' But prince-'

' Just Jungkook..'

Taehyung took a proper look at the prince who looked genuinely serious ' J-Jungkook'

Never in a million years did he feel his name to be this beautiful...was it the way it sounded in Taehyung's voice or was it just because he wasn't used to being called by his name by many....he doesn't know...he doesn't want to know

' That's better' Jungkook nodded hiding the grin threatening to surface

' Since we know each other's secrets..are we friends?'

' We can't be friends!' Jungkook deadpanned and saw the other's smile faltering

' Yeah... right..' Taehyung nodded ' Am sorry for crossing my limits'

' No.. Taehyung.. that's not what I mean' Jungkook himself doesn't know why he refused to be Taehyung's friend in the first place ' Taehyung ah... let's be... let's be partners in crime.. let's be there for each other.. isn't that much better than being just friends?'

Taehyung thought for a moment before breaking out into the biggest of smiles ' Yeah.. let's be that! Oh-does that mean that I can you treat like someone normal and not like a prince?'....

' Yeah?'

' Woahh' Taehyung's eyes glowed in excitement ' Jeon Jungkook you are such a brat!!'

' I am already regretting my decision' Jungkook groaned rolling his eyes as Taehyung just giggled

Jungkook shook his head trying to look as annoyed as possible but the sweet giggles were not helping...he turned around picking up his sword again... hiding his grin

Namjoon sighed.. closing the book he was reading.. keeping it down on the table as he looked up at Yoongi....ready to listen to his best friend rant about whatever it is ' What happened now?'

' You father dearest has ordered the warriors to bring back the eloped Astraxians...' Yoongi scoffed

' Who?' Namjoon blinked

' Lee and Han's sons' Jin who came in with Yoongi replied

' Can't he just let them live in peace? It's already been a month!' Yoongi groaned

' Oh...' Namjoon stood up' Has the warriors left?'

' Not yet....' Yoongi trailed off ' Even we might have to go...me and Jin hyung'

' I see....If so..you people should leave now... you can reach Astrella by dawn-'

' Leave?' Jin looked baffled ' Leave? For what? Bringing them back here so that the great King can kill them both for just loving each other? Have you lost your mind Namjoon!'

' They did wrong hyung-'

' Oh for fucksake enough' Jin groaned..anger surging through his every fiber

' You have to listen to me-'

'YOU listen to me!' Jin yelled ' Loving someone is not a fucking crime!'

'It is a crime!' Namjoon shouted back ' And what you are doing now is also a crime! You can't yell at the prince like this-'

' You might be the Prince for the Astraxians but for me you are the very same Kim Namjoon who cried the day he left for training... promising me that he will come back... for me...You are that Kim Namjoon for whom I risked it all and came back and you-' A strangled sob left Jin 'You are just preaching about right and wrong when it was you who showed me those dreams!'

Namjoon swallowed the lump in his throat as he lowered his head ' I never showed you any dream hyung'

' Yeah right' Jin chuckled... his voice dry and tired 'You never did anything...it was me all along... Forgive me for crossing my limits again and again....I promise to make sure it never happen again'

' Yoon' Namjoon's trembling voice called out for his best friend the second Jin walked out....the other quick to come closer.. bringing him into his embrace 'I-if only I had the power...'

' Shh' Yoongi ran a soothing hand over his back 'He will understand you someday...' If only you chose to tell the truth

' He scolded me for going into his garden' Taehyung mumbled arranging the dishes on the table

' You should be greatful that he left you alive' Jin laughed seeing the younger pout 'Yet I can't believe that you obeyed him and stayed out of his garden despite your love for those petals'

' Who said I stayed out?' Taehyung had a mischievous grin ' I sneak out every night for the past one month once he is asleep...'

' The day he catches you..you will be done for' Jin warned ' Jungkook loves his flowers more than his own life'

' And why is that?' Taehyung asked curiously

' No one knows' Jin shrugged

Taehyung tilted his head.. thinking of reason about the prince's obsession with his garden

Jungkook was on his way to his chambers when he heard his guard calling out and saw the said male skipping his way towards him with some books in his hands

As you all might have noticed....a whole month had passed since Taehyung and Jungkook met...a whole month full of beautiful changes.... Changes from Jungkook and Taehyung being at each other's neck the whole time with Jungkook being an absolute asshole to them being best of friends now.... A change that no one in the palace saw coming....

' What's this?' Jungkook asked pointing to the books

' Jin hyung brought these today' Taehyung smiled ' These are your appa's and they have the ways in which you can use and control magic.. it also has something about Astraxus's history'

Jungkook quickly took the books from his hand... opening it... It was indeed his appa's..the very familiar yet distant royal seal of his appa was there on the first page....He again turned the pages when a letter slipped down which Taehyung caught mid air.. handing it to him

If there ever comes a day when Appa won't be there with you to help you out with your powers...rely on these books which appa wrote himself for his little bunny...

From the moment you were born I knew that you my Prince had the capability to not only protect Astraxus but also had the power to destroy every bit of it... And I also know that you will grow up into a man of wisdom who'd know what's right and wrong

A tear fell on to the fading ink as Jungkook sank to his knees..the books and letter pressed against his chest and eyes shut close as he silently cried...

'I miss you appa' He sobbed ' Your bunny misses you a lot'

Taehyung felt his heart ache seeing the crying male...he too slowly knelt beside the prince whose body was shaking in silent sobs... He raised his arms.. hesitating a bit before wrapping it around the younger's shoulder pulling him into his chest

' Jungkook ah' Taehyung called softly as he weaved his fingers through Jungkook's snow white locks..after he leaned back into the pillar behind him...

' Tae' The broken voice of the Prince was heard ' I miss them both so much...I n-never had anyone beside them ever in my life whom I could call mine...I w-want my eomma back...I can't stay away from her anymore'

' We will bring her back Jungkook ah' Taehyung said firmly ' Hyung will help you in it...I promise'

' Hmm' Jungkook nodded... clutching the books more closer as he nuzzled into Taehyung's arms ' Hyung'

' Yeah'

'Will you leave me if Jongwook ever ask you to? Just like the other guards who betrayed my appa?'

Taehyung heard his heart crack at the vulnerability and innocence in Jungkook's voice

' No Kookie' He said softly massaging the younger's scalp ' I am never leaving you...no matter what'

' Promise?'

' Pinky promise' Taehyung smiled ' And you have me now... I told you already...This guard belongs to you My Prince'

Jungkook smiled 'And This prince hates it when someone takes away what's his'

' Then fight for what's yours' Taehyung snickered

' Without a second thought' Jungkook was quick to reply...both of them smiling...with Jungkook's head now resting against Taehyung's chest...and just like the  how legend goes...The fate of the cursed Prince and his guard was already being shaped by the moons of Astraxus under whose light they basked in each other's warmth

Taehyung groaned at the ache in his muscles as he opened his eyes...with his legs numb and back hurting like hell... His senses still drowned in deep sleep as he struggled to register his surroundings before trying to get up when he felt a weight on his lap.... making his frown more deep as he looked down only to have his eyes widen and sleep leaving him in an instant...for there on his lap slept the prince of Astraxus

We fell asleep here? Taehyung thought when he saw the books still pressed against Jungkook's chest with one hand..while his other was wrapped around Taehyung's waist..with his face buried into his stomach

A small loving smile bloomed on Taehyung's lips as he gently ran his finger's through the younger's silky locks... making him squirm a little and mumble something before going back to sleep again

'You look so innocent like this' Taehyung whispered softly ' So pure...and nothing like what the Astraxians describe you as'

Taehyung tilted his head... removing the soft bangs of the prince that fell over his face...his fingers resting behind the younger's ears as his deep grey orbs travelled all over Jungkook's face...his long lashes that casted their shadow over his soft cheeks... his cute button nose that crinkle everytime he smiles..those pretty pink lips which he bites everytime he plans to annoy the hell out of Taehyung...and that mole-wait he has a mole under his lips??

Taehyung's heart flipped as he eyed the mole.. something which he has never noticed ever in the past one month.... And even before he knew his finger was grazing over the small dot...all along biting on to his own lips subconsciously...as he leaned more down...his face just inches away from the sleeping prince's when suddenly he realized something making him sit up abruptly

What am I doing!! Taehyung slapped his own cheeks Get a grip Kim Taehyung...he is a Prince! And-Taehyung's eyes saddened more as he told himself one more big truth And...and a man..

' Heyy Jin hyung' Jungkook hugged the elder who was startled by the sudden gesture ' Thanks for those books'

'What books?' Jin frowned

' The books you sent for me yesterday?' Jungkook asked 'From the royal library'

' What are you talking about Kook?' Jin was genuinely confused ' I.. didn't send any book for you...Am not even allowed to even visit you...let alone give you anything...'

He didn't? Then....who... Taehyung lied? Jungkook's heart dropped..the color draining out of his face Is he betraying me? After everything he told... after he promised-

'Good morning' A widely smiling Taehyung walked in.. going directly to his hyung hugging him tightly before turning towards the prince who was blankly looking at him seeing which Taehyung's smile faltered

' Where were you?' Jin asked unaware of the growing tension ' Anyway...I need to leave...have to be at the royal court..the king has ordered every single guard to be there...am leaving ok?'

Taehyung nodded mustering up a smile  before Jin walked out

' Are you alrigh-'

' You lied' Jungkook's voice was cold....

' Jungkook' Taehyung took a step closer only for Jungkook to step back

' I had started trusting you Tae....' Jungkook shook his head in disbelief ' Why did you lie?'

' I meant no harm....' Taehyung pleaded ' You can trust me'

' Where did you get the book from?' Jungkook rasped out 'And this time tell the truth'

' I... Jungkook just know that I didn't mean to hurt you or break your trust-'

' Answer me Kim Taehyung! It's the Prince's order!'

' I got it on my own'

'Huh?'

' I...sneaked into the palace-'

' You did what!!'

' Jungkook...I used to come to the palace with my appa when I was young...I know every nook and corner of it-'

' And you just went in?' Jungkook looked baffled 'What if something had happened to you? Huh? You have promised to be with me Taehyung and you-'

'Then what should I do?' Taehyung was loosing his cool 'Just sit back as see you struggle everyday day? See how much you yearn to be with you eomma but is helpless because of your lack of skills?!! No Jeon...I can't just sit back and see all that! I had promised to help you in every step even if you like it or not... taking you safely till the dungeon is my responsibility but leaving there alive with the queen requires you to be powerful enough too and that's not possible until and unless you have a control over your magic and for that you need guidance which none other than your father could give'

' I have seen him write this' Taehyung closed his eyes taking in a shaky breath ' When King JaeHoon was writing this I was there with him in the royal library...'

Past

' What are you writing?' Little Taehyung tiptoed beside the King's desk..his wide bambi eyes trying to take in whatever was written over the pages

' Come here' JaeHoon picked the kid up.. making him sit on the table ' I was writing something for the prince'

' The prince?'

' Hmm... you know Taetae...The life of anyone related to the royals are unpredictable...even the king and queen's..' JaeHoon explained ' So if ever comes a day when my son might need his appa and I won't be there...then I want him to relay on these books and letters that I am writing for him..'

Taehyung looked back at the books...the royal seal staring back at him as he touched the page

' Taehyung ah' The king called ' Shall I tell you a secret?'

' Yes' Taehyung's eyes shone as he nodded

' I will hide these books in the royal library...and I will show you where' JaeHoon said and Taehyung nodded 'And when the right time comes you need to take them out and hand it over to the prince and you have to make sure that none other than the prince knows about this ever..'

' But how will know when the right time is?'

' Aren't you our smart Taehyungie...Am sure you'd know it on your own'

' Oh-but I haven't seen the prince yet...he never comes out to play with any of us' Taehyung pouted 'How will I recognize him?'

JaeHoon chuckled seeing how adorable the confused kid was looking ' You see this ring Taetae' JaeHoon showed his hand ' The prince has bring green eyes that glows just like these emeralds'

' Like these Emeralds' Taehyung whispered awestruck 'These are so pretty'

' They are' JaeHoon smiled..' Now come on.. Promise me that you will keep our secret and do as I said'

' Pinky Promise'

Present

' I had to make sure to keep my promise..even though it took this long' Taehyung sighed ' I know none of this makes sense to you-'

' None of it ever made sense to me...Nothing has ever made sense when it comes to you' Jungkook looked straight into the elder's beautiful grey orbs ' It never made sense why I didn't tell my eomma how the son of appa's guard was plucking out her favorite flowers...It never made sense why among all those beautiful petals I found you beautiful...why the most vibrant colors looked pale in front of your shining chocolate orbs aand azure hair...'

Jungkook took a step closer to the frozen male in front of him 'It still doesn't make sense why I can't seem to help but stare in awe whenever you walk into my garden at night and sit in between those flowers.. talking about god knows what..'

Jungkook smiled seeing Taehyung's eyes widening.. and the distance between them narrowing ' And it never made sense why I used to leave a bunch of sunflowers in your adorable yellow bag which you used to carry around everywhere..'

' It was you?' Taehyung gasped as Jungkook held his arm out...green sparkles swirling over his palm evolving into beautiful sunflowers as he stopped right in front of Taehyung handing it over to the surprised guard...whose expression was quick to morph into that of happiness as a wide boxy smile graced his lips as he looked back at the prince whose heart skipped a beat

' But I think everything makes sense now-' Jungkook took in a shaky breath..he insides churning as he leaned forward...his hands slipping around Taehyung's waist pulling him closer

Taehyung held his breath..his eyes wide as saucers and heart beating out of his chest as Jungkook tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear..his touch lingering over his smooth skin as the prince continued...his heart fluttering at the warm breath hitting his face

' Now that I have seen you this close..' Jungkook breathed out ' That I have known you this close I realized that eveytime you sneaked into the royal garden you took a part of me with you.. and I think it all makes sense now... Finally it does make sense why I waited all these years for the guard's son to come back so that I can give him those flowers again...and tell him that...that The Prince of Astraxus has fallen undeniably in love with the boy who stole flowers from his garden'

Taehyung's whole world stilled...his heart out in his mouth as he stared at the Prince who just confessed to him

' For you this might seem like some rushed up decision or a stupid joke but you must know this Taehyung that the day Jin hyung brought you back was the day I felt alive after years....My wait for the past eighteen years ended the moment our eyes met..' Jungkook chuckled remembering how Taehyung had pinned him into the pillar the day Taehyung was made his guard ' And now that you are here I can't help but say it again and again that...ever since I have known about you existence...

I have been irrevocably in love with you Kim Taehyung'

Ah..and also I wanted to clear this that Taehyung and Jin's appaa wasn't bad..he was actually a good person.. Jungkook just said all those to hide the fact that he agreed to keep Tae with him knowing about the dangers of Jongwook seeing him in Astraxus and this will be explained in coming chapters

And alsoo I am not getting Taehyung's pics with blue hair which I need and most of it is in black or silver so if I add any pics think of it as him in blue hair ♥
