' I thought you'd be happily dancing around or freaking your ass out... but this is not what I expected to see'

Taehyung raised his head... meeting Jimin's curious gaze through the mirror...the comb in his hand which had been long forgotten now back to it's place on the dresser

' Do I not look good?' Taehyung asked monotonously 'He asked me to wear something casual'

' Ofcourse you are looking good...but what I meant was.. that..you are going on a date Tae' Jimin walked in 'That too with the one for whom you have been waiting for all these years....yet you look so...lost?'

' Jimin ah' Taehyung sighed standing up.. turning towards his best friend

' Something happened?'

' Not exactly' Taehyung mumbled ' Yesterday when Koo came to the bakery...he told me something which...you know..made me feel like he got his memories back-'

' What did he say?'

' That my prince will be waiting for me' Taehyung said... frowning at the way Jimin's gaze changed ' Are you hiding something?'

' No' Jimin shook his head ' I mean...there is something about which I wanted to talk to you...but I was not sure and didn't want to give you any false hope'

' What is it?'

' I think Jungkook's memories are coming back...not as whole.. but bit by bit may be...' Jimin trailed off... ' Tae you told me that his name was Jeon Jungkook but in this life he has no idea what his surname is..but when I met him yesterday he referred to himself as Jeon...'

' Joon hyung also told me about an incident like this...' Taehyung's frown deepened ' I really think his memories are coming back'

' Yes...' Jimin smiled wide ' Isn't that a good thing...and Tae I think you should do things that you and Kook used to do in the past..like go out to places...or have his favorite food...or even games or simple conversation which you know had some deep significance in your lives...may be we can help him get his memories-'

' I don't want him to remember'

' What?' Jimin stilled seeing the pale look on Taehyung's face

' I don't-' Taehyung's voice wavered ' I can't let him remember anything'

' This place looks so beautiful' Taehyung awed at the view...his hands hooked around a beaming Jungkook's arm as he looked around the cafe...the decoration so aesthetic that it was too pleasing for his eyes' I had no idea something like this existed'

' Am glad you liked it' Jungkook grinned as they walked towards their table... pulling out a chair for Taehyung to sit down

Soon a waiter came.. greeting them both placing a bottle of wine on the table...whispering something to Jungkook before leaving...

Taehyung's eyes widened when Jungkook pulled out a bouquet of carnations from his chair holding it out with an eye blinding smile

' Here my Bambi....Beautiful flowers for my beautiful love'

Taehyung giggled taking the flowers... running his hands over the soft petals ' These...I love carnations..'

' You do?' Jungkook asked totally surprised....'Thats a relief...coz I was a bit confused if you'd like it or not....I..have always had a liking towards carnations'

Taehyung's hand stilled over the flower..his gaze flying towards the younger who was visibility nervous...his own insides churning as he asked ' Is there a specific reason for that?'

' May be....Am not sure..' Jungkook said thinking 'There is this ache whenever I see carnations... they..I don't know...as much as I get this feel like I lost something precious..there is also this sense of contentment as if these flowers remind me of something which I held close to my heart.... This might not even make sense...but I just...when I went to the shop today saw these...it reminded me of you and I just bought it without a second choice-Are you crying?!'

' What? No..no' Taehyung smiled wiping off his tears 'I.. just...I love you Jungkook....and these are beautiful...I really love it'

Jungkook grinned holding his hand out for Taehyung to hold... resting it against the table ' I love you too'

Their moment was interrupted by the waiter who came with a small strawberry cake

' This...?' Taehyung trailed off

' This...is for us...' Jungkook lighted the candles ' To celebrate our new beginning...Now come on... let's blow out the candles and make a wish'

Taehyung watched how Jungkook's eyes sparkled as he urged Taehyung to close his eyes and make a wish...he saw the wide smile as the younger opened his eyes.... counting silently till three with his fingers so that they could blow the candles out together

Taehyung's heart filled with a plethora of emotions as he remained staring at the younger.. not even daring to look away even for a second My wish already came true when I got you back Jungkook ah.... I just wish that our fates won't betray us... again

Namjoon was taking a final look at his cabin before leaving back home for the day when the door opened revealing Jimin

' Hey Chim' Namjoon smiled

' You are leaving?' Jimin asked

' It's already 10pm...'

' Oh... right' Jimin nodded

' What's wrong?' Namjoon asked

' Why does Tae not want Jungkook to remember his past?'

' It will just make everyone sad'

' Sad?' Jimin looked puzzled ' If anything Jungkook would be happy thinking that he got another chance to complete his love story...he-'

' No Jimin' Namjoon stopped him ' It's not just about him...it involves Yoongi and Jin too'

' Hyung but-'

' You were not there Jimin ah when blood betrayed blood....you were not there when-' Namjoon took in a deep breath calming himself down ' Let's just handle things as it comes yeah...?'

Jimin sighed as Namjoon walked past him...his questions left unanswered

' I want ice cream' Taehyung suddenly said making Jungkook to look at him... They were done with their date at the cafe and was on their way to Han river when Taehyung suddenly kept forward his craving

' My strawberry needs ice cream?' Jungkook asked back causing Taehyung to chuckle and hit his hand lightly ' I'll go buy one... wait for me here yeah?'

Taehyung nodded as Jungkook parked his car in front of an ice cream shop..

' I'll be back soon' Jungkook said before getting out and walking into the shop... ordering one chocolate ice cream... He took the ice cream in his hand... keeping his wallet in the other and almost turned around when he bumped into someone causing the ice cream to get smeared on both of their clothes.

' Am so sorry' Jungkook quickly apologized to the man..his eyes wide as he looked at the ruined shirt of the man in front of him ' I.. really am sorry...I was not looking-'

' It's ok' The man smiled ' I had my eyes glued on my phone...if anything I should be the one apologizing...'

Jungkook blinked as the man bend down picking up his wallet... before looking back at him ' Since I ruined your treat... I'll buy you one'

' No that's not needed... really... thankyou' Jungkook refused politely...his eyes fixed on the stained shirt

' You know your shirt is also ruined right' The man laughed seeing Jungkook's dumbstruck expression
' Please...it was my fault...allow me'

Finally Jungkook nodded..the man going towards the counter ordering another Chocolate chip ice cream...

' Thanks' Jungkook smiled ' I should get going'

' Yeah sure....' The man nodded as Jungkook ran out

' What took you so long? I was thinking of coming in search of you-what happened to your shirt?' Taehyung asked as Jungkook got back in the car

' Nothing... just bumped into someone....I ruined his shirt' Jungkook mumbled

' Did he get mad at you?' Taehyung asked seeing the guilty look on Jungkook

' Oh..no...no he didn't...he infact told that he was busy with his phone and was not looking where he was goin-leave it... let's just enjoy our date yeah?'

Taehyung nodded as Jungkook started the car again....

On the way to Han river... Taehyung got so lost in thoughts that he didn't even realize that they reached their destination until Jungkook opened his door

' Are you ok?

' Yeah...I am' Taehyung smiled as Jungkook snaked his arms around Taehyung's waist

' Taehyung ah' Jungkook called after a brief episode of silence as they walked through the river banks ' I know this date was nowhere near perfect...and that you deserve a lot more....than this...me... But just wait for sometime.... I'll find a new job...will become someone whom you deserve-'

' Koo' Taehyung stopped him ' This is perfect...you..me..us.. nothing can be more perfect than this ever....You are more than enough...we deserve each other... And about your job..you lost it because of me-'

' I don't care..' Jungkook stopped on his tracks ' I don't care how I lost it as long as you are with me ' I love you Bambi'

' I love you' Taehyung tiptoed leaving a quick peck over Jungkook's scar on his cheek

'You know Bambi' Jungkook started after a small comfortable silence ' I really wanted this to be special..but when I thought of it...I realized that I know nothing about you....And I know' Jungkook quickly added when he saw Taehyung about to say something' I know that I could have asked Joon hyung about your likes or dislikes..or even could have texted you but...'

'But?'

'I want to know all about my boyfriend from him only and that too in person..' Jungkook smiled ' I want to know all about you Tae... about every single thing that brings out that adorable smile on your face.. every single thing that has ever hurt you..scare you... everything that you adore... everything you hate...you detest.. I want you to take my heart in return of all your sorrows... I want you to know that you can always come to me...be it in times of happiness or in times of hardships...and I'll be there...I want you to come home to me Bambi.. so tell me my dear petal...will you be my cute little boyfriend'

' Yess' Taehyung breathed out...his eyes glistening with unshed tears as Jungkook pulled him into his chest and the very next moment the sky was filled with a million sparks....The beautiful fireworks lighting up the whole sky making the moment look more magical and special than it already was.... Taehyung looked at the different hues of sparks scattered over the wide horizon...his eyes gleaming in happiness as he nuzzled more into Jungkook's chest.. who still hand his arms around Taehyung's waist

'You know I was joking when I told you to ask me out officially'

' As I said before... you are worth everything my
Bambi' Jungkook kissed his hair ' You deserve all the happiness of the world'

Taehyung closed his eyes... breathing in the scent of Jungkook's cologne...basking in his warmth as he wished with all his might
Don't leave me this time Jungkook ah... I love you so much

'So tell me my Jungkookie' Taehyung leaned onto Jungkook 'What do you want to know about me'

Jungkook tucked a strand of wet hair away from the elder's forehead...a result of their playful time with each other a while ago in the river

' Everything... whatever you want me to know about you..'

'Where should I start?' Taehyung thought to himself 'I met Jiminie some few years back...we used to live in the same neighborhood... and he was the loudest out there...and I hated him for that... and I really was going to fight with him..then one led to another... we clicked...and here we are' Taehyung chuckled
at the fond memory 'It was his idea to open a bakery.... Namjoon hyung was already practicing by the time me and Jiminie became friends...he was quick to become a part of our small family'

'What about your and Joon hyung's parents?'
Jungkook asked

' Joon hyung's parents live in the states... They left Korea a long time ago.. but hyung had always wanted to stay here'

'Joon hyung's parents?' Jungkook asked a bit puzzled
'They are your parents too.. right?'

'I-yeah...yeah they are' Taehyung laughed awkwardly 'I am just not so close to them...am sorry..I can't tell you
now'

'It's fine my baby' Jungkook said in a baby voice

'Baby? Am your hyung!' Taehyung exclaimed

'You might be elder than me..but you are my baby' Jungkook jutted his lips out trying to kiss the elder who was now a giggling mess trying to push him away

'I love you so much Tae' Jungkook mumbled causing Taehyung to completely turn towards him...the air around them now thick with unsaid emotions' I know that you loved your ex way too much... its too evident in the way your eyes shone when you talked about him... and when I heard you describe him I understood  the reason behind your love for emerald green...I know that I can never take his place in your life...but I hope I can make you feel loved and happy'

' Jungkook..why are yo-'

'We have known each other for just one month Taehyung but I can't loose you' Jungkook sounded vulnerable as he held onto Taehyung's hands ' I know I can be pretty dumb at times.. but don't leave me because of that... We can talk it out.. whatever it is..we can talk it out..but please Tae... don't ever leave me... I can't think of a life without you now'

' Jungkook' Taehyung got on his knees as he cupped both of Jungkook's cheeks.. wiping off the tears 'I am never leaving you...got it? Whatever happened was in the past..we are starting this anew.. right... let's just love each other like no tomorrow... I love you Jungkook..no matter what.... And you only said that we are destined to be each other's...so no matter what happens...by the end of the day..we will always end up in each other's arms...'

'I love you' Jungkook breathed out only for Taehyung to close the gap between them... with both of them kissing each other passionately.... A small moan left Taehyung's throat the second Jungkook sucked on his tongue.. causing both of them to go still

Jungkook pulled back..his insides all fluttery at the sinful sight of the swollen lips and flushed cheeks on the elder who was now staring at him with wide puppy
eyes

'Lord you drive me crazy!' Jungkook dived back in kissing and sucking his lips...both of them getting lost in each other... silently promising to love each other with everything they have

' How did I not notice it!' Jungkook's frustrated voice grabbed both Yoongi and Jin's attention

' What are you talking about?' Jin inquired

' Hyung... yesterday I kind of bumped into someone... and accidentally our wallets got exchanged...and am noticing it just now' Jungkook groaned

' Try giving a call on his number here Kook' Yoongi said taking a look at the Id in the wallet ' As long as he isn't a theif... it's fine'

Jin chuckled hearing that ' If I knew that our Kook could be this adorably stupid then I would have made sure that you never had to act perfect in front of anyone' Jin's smile faltered ' I still can't forgive myself for it....you were hurting all this while just so we won't be disappointed in you...where as in reality we would have been proud even if you did none of those'

Jungkook smiled softly ' Well it's in the past and now you have this clumsy ass brother..so deal with it'

' Oh please no one can be more clumsy than Namjoo-'
Jin froze..his eyes widening a bit

' Did we miss something out?' Yoongi asked...a smug smile on his face

' No?' Jin shrugged

' I think-' Jungkook was cut off by the loud ringing of his phone..he frowned at the unknown number
' Hello?'

' Um... Jungkook shi?'

' Am so sorry again...I should have been careful'

Jungkook smiled standing up when he saw the man walking towards him ' Choi Soobin shi.. please don't apologize.. it's totally fine...'

'Thanks for bringing it here...' Soobin bowed ' It was nice meeting you'

' Yes it was..' Jungkook nodded in agreement... both of them standing awkwardly.. not knowing what to say next ' I think I should get going...I have to meet someone'

' Ah.. right ok..' Soobin nodded ' Sure... Hope to see you again'

Jungkook bowed before walking out towards his car...he raised his head.. looking at Soobin who was now busy looking at something in his phone

How are you all

This was a small chptr and nowhere near the usual Taekook date.... I wanted to try a different character for Jungkook who is different than the usual rich CEO kind of person who just does marvelous on his first date.... I wanted to try show Jungkook who is imperfect.. but real...as if its his imperfections that makes him perfect...I wanted to show how an actual first date can be something so casual yet beautiful...And I hope this all made sense and I didn't mess up

Anyway don't worry...chaos is about to ensue..be ready for a rollercoaster of events

Andd soon we will get to travel back in time
