???: "Not long..."

"In the year A.D. 5012, the golden age of humanity came to a sudden end. When the world was invaded by aliens from beyond the stars, they unleashed a new lifeform that came to be known as the machine lifeforms. They killed all of the humans in the world in just a few hours and only a handful of survivors evacuated to the moon's surface."

"A.D 5204, humanity launched its counter attack deploying an army of man-made Androids which came to be known as the organization of YoRHa, who came from networks of orbiting bases. But after more times to count up on the descend towards the enemy, both sides are in stalemate in their tug of war to win over the planet."

???: "This kind of crap is what makes me angry now that I know our purpose when we were deployed on that day."

???: "Yet here we are Number 16- I mean, Lycoris. Being revived once more by what we once believe to be... "humanity"."

???: "Lycoris and Cattleya. President Hiden might become burdened even further if he hears this."

Cattleya: "I might intrude a privacy here, Ms. Izu but why is he burdened by this?"

Izu: "Please, Izu is just fine. I understand your curiosity but I will give you one reason. Because of his father's last wish."

Lycoris: "Oh yeah? What was his father's last wish?"

Inside a room, there is a boy with black and green hair looking at a belt. On its right are small cards with labels of masked men, and on its left are animal and insect labels.

He looked at it hesitation but then he remembered the pain of the past, the pain of losing his family, and all that remained was their wishes from their hearts, now passed on to him. He then picked up his clothes dried on a rack and wore them before picking up the buckle along its box items and leaving the room.

The planet I live on today is a mess. Everything that I know and love is in ruins and abandoned by the ravages of time. There are barely any Humagears left except for my maid and mother-in-law, Izu. My father was a human, he died from his fight years ago. A fight that took everything he had to finish it off. But also cost of his role as a father vanishes in the blink of an eye.

Both Humagears and humans aren't present today on this ruined planet. Only me and Izu were the ones remaining representing humanity a long time ago. All that was here today were man-made Androids that were made during my mother's watchful gaze from space and Machine Lifeforms that came underground. Believing it to be the invaded aliens that ravaged my home after a pandemic happened when my father was alive.

But then along the way, I met some great companions who helped me keep in line until I eventually found out the harsh truth of them.

But that's a story for another time...

On the planet's surface, there are Androids wearing ragged clothing, holding AK-47s as the only weapons, unlike YoRHa who has a variety of weapons ranging from simple katanas to claymores or even spears and knuckles.

The Resistance are helpless at this point, they have made severe losses despite requesting help from YoRHa. All they can ever get is the on-loop speech from the Council of Humanity. Some are just not minding it while others are getting annoyed due to how it is the same saying, all over again.

Right now, they are scavenging what they can in truck containers from an abandoned warehouse. As they opened another container, they found it to be empty and just the same materials they had as usual.

Weapon Trader: "How was it?"

Wata: "Most of them have been taken since last time. I believe this will be the last time."

Weapon Trader: "This place too, huh?" *calls out* "Everyone, load up all the resources from here! Hurry! The tin cans nearby have been docile lately, but we don't know what's going to happen."

They all nodded at him, behind them were two red-haired girls, carrying a big backpack with RUS-79U in hand while listening to the trader. He then asks Wata something about their stake in winning or losing this fight.

Weapon Trader: "Hey. Do you think we can win this?"

Wata: "Oh, we'll make something of it! I've heard that a new type of Android called YoRHa has been deployed. Maybe it'll be over soon?"

Weapon Trader: *sighs* "I sure hope so."

As they began packing up their loot, the Council began their same speech all over on their radio. But somebody switches it off, a hooded girl with green hair, carrying the same assault rifle on her back as she clicks her tongue after she turns it off. Her name is Lily, the leader of the Resistance.

Wata: "Huh? You're not going to listen to the end, Lily?"

Lily: "I already know what they want to say. They want us to fight until we die, right?"

Wata: "Come on, you always sound harsh on that fact, Lily."

Kin: "How about you help me out here so that I don't get harsh on you, Wata?!"

Wata: *scratches his head* "Jeez, she can't do it by herself?"

Lily: "Just go help her."

Wata: *smiles* "Yes, ma'am!"

Lily: "You need to stop that already."

Wata: "Roger that, Leader!" *leaves*

Lily watches him leave her alone, when he does she holsters her weapon. Looking at it, the weapon is slowly wearing out, making it damaged throughout the battle.

Lily: 'The guys up on the moon speak in high spirits. But not even a single gun has been given to us, the Resistance, who've been fighting on the ground for centuries. Besides the repair tools being given to us by someone named themselves, HIDEN.'

Lily looks up at the destroyed machines with bullet holes as a reminder of how ruthless they are when seeing these small cute-looking machines.

Lily: 'Including the fact that recent machine lifeforms have been evolving, the end is still not in sight. Just how long will we have to fight?'

She kept looking at the broken moon, some of its top parts were gone for unknown reasons. But out there, she knows what's on the moon. A place where YoRHa lives and deploys from.

In the YoRHa headquarters, the 13th Satellite Base: Bunker, two Androids are in a room. They have excelled in their roles. 

A boy designated Number 9 Type Scanner, or rather 9S; and a girl designated Number 2 Type Battler, 2B for short. 9S is scanning for 2B's systems and when he's done he calls out for her.

9S: "Miss 2B, can you hear me? I'm finished with the boot sequence."

2B wakes up after hearing his voice, she looks at him groggily after her long nap.

9S: "Good morning. Do you have any issues?"

2B: "I'm fine... 9S."

9S: "Yes?"

2B: "Your voice. It somehow puts me at ease."

9S: *flustered* "T-Thank you so much!" *ahem* "As the one in charge of your maintenance, that makes me happy. Me too. When I hear your voice-"

2B: "9S."

9S: "Y-Yes?"

2B: "The Commander is calling. I'll go on ahead."

2B left her room and 9S just leans in question and curiosity.

9S: "Huh?"

In the Command Center, multiple Androids are at station on their tables with their Commander White, well designating her color as a name, overseeing the operations of every Androids from the center table of the command center.

2B: "Commander."

White: "Oh, 2B and 9S. Are you done with the maintenance?"

2B: "Yes"

White: "You detonated your black box to defeat the enemy. Don't be too reckless next time, okay?"

2B: "Okay"

White: "I hate to say this right after your maintenance, but I have a mission for you. Rendezvous with the Resistance on the surface and do some recon."

9S: "Wasn't a different YoRHa member assigned as liaison with the Resistance?"

White: "We haven't been able to contact them for a while now. I'd like you to do some onsite investigation, including the reason for the lack of comms. Concentrate your search in the desert area."

2B & 9S: "Understood."

The two then left the command center as 9S asked 2B about this odd order.

9S: "But why would a combat model like Miss 2B be assigned for a reconnaissance? We Scanner models are enough for onsite recon."

2B: "Don't complain about your orders."

9S: *sigh* "Okay."

They walk through the hallway leading to the command center to get on to their assignments. White though mutters about 2B and 9S without knowing the Operators in front.

White: "2B... 9S... Be careful."

Inside the secret facility, are multiple Androids and Humagears operating on a command center. Someone entered the room and it was the same boy who had met everyone's gaze as they greeted him and he greeted them back.

Y/n: "How are we looking, Raiden?"

A male Humagear with red hair known as Uchuyaro Raiden who was busy typing codes on the monitor talks to him while he does his job.

Raiden: "It's slow, I'm sorry. I mean, bringing everything back to normal is already harder than it seems."

Y/n: *sighs* "Well I can't say to myself bringing the old Metsubojinrai back together again, can I?"

Raiden: "Does Naki even have to mention that one time when you got too close on Lycoris'-"

Y/n: *blushes like a tomato* "What the hell?! Where did you get that concept?! Don't tell me, it's from There?!"

Then another Humagear named Naki tells the truth about his teammate's secret.

Naki: "Unfortunately, it's one of the things he's been secretly learning about in his free time, Y/n."

Y/n: "Wait..." *smirks* "You have a crush before, do you?"

Raiden: "Oh, don't get me started with that-"

Horobi: "He's only making jokes on you to keep you motivated on what you appreciate. Don't take it too seriously."

On the command table, is a stoic man with a katana and a bandana with a cloak sitting on the captain's chair.

Raiden: "Okay, boss"

Horobi: *smirks* "Glad you got back in the field." *offers his handshake*

Y/n: *smiles and accepts it* "Yeah. Since they're making their move, again. Might as well for us."

But suddenly an alert was notified on Naki's navigation.

Naki: "We got Machine signals closing in!"

Horobi: "Where?"

Naki: "Towards where the Resistance is collecting materials to return to the camp!"

Y/n: "Who is the closest one we have?"

Naki checked on the map and saw a signal belonging to Lycoris.

Naki: "We only have Lycoris on the closest location of the Resistance."

Y/n: Izu, contact Lycoris and tell her to aid the Resistance.

Izu: Understood.

Back at the Resistance, they're ready to return to base as the loots are packed and ready to go.

Lily: "As soon as we're done loading, we'll head to the next resource storage! Go ahead and scout as soon as you're able to"

But suddenly, the two red-haired girls carrying stacks of boxes fell to the floor making a mess because the boxes were so heavy.

Resistance Member: "Don't be workin' so slow, you twins! Hurry and clean that up so we can..."

But suddenly they hear wailings and cries of what sounded like babies and when they look towards a bridge nearby, the Machines are coming towards them, just like what HIDEN has found out. These machines are suicide bomber types where if they get too close to the target, it explodes.

Resistance: "Enemy attack!"

They began aiming their weapons and fired on the incoming waves of enemies. They have RPG ready just in case for quick destruction of chunks of enemies.

Weapon Trader: "Damn it! Don't let it get close!"

But then one of them gets close and the trader is in fear that this is his last fight. However, one bullet shot the suicide machine right through its core, shutting it down permanently. The trader breathes a sigh of relief but Lily blocks him as she orders her team.

Lily: "Everyone, retreat! Abandon the resources! Load the wounded onto the remaining trucks! Hurry!"

Lily saw from the distance more waves of Machines coming from the bridge, which made her click her tongue in dismay. Everyone began falling back, leaving the trucks behind in the warehouse. But the machines weren't targeting them and instead targeting the Resistance.

Meanwhile, that's happening, Lycoris is following the Resistance in the shadows but then stumbled upon destroyed machines. They were scrapped on the grassfield, she finds this strange as she analyzes the damage this machine received.

Lycoris: "These machines, it almost as if other machines trampled on these scrap piles."

Machine: "B-Big brother" *offline*

She was surprised by this behavior, it's been known that the Machines are acting strangely from being hostile to just being neutral. But her earpiece acted up and Cattleya called to her.

Cattleya: "Lycoris, the Resistance is heading to the forest, where are you?"

Lycoris: "I'm on the way. I'm sending you something while I'm running there."

Cattleya: "It better be worth it..."

Lycoris: "You're the one who has much interest as a Scanner before. So it's worth it."

As the machines continue to chase them down, the Resistances take cover behind one of the rusty trucks as the twins are carrying the injured or wounded. One of the Machines stepped into a hollow spot on the ground as it detonated and exploded a mine underneath its feet.

Lily: "Tsk. The minefield is useless."

Wata: "How are the injured?"

The twins looked at them and one of the girls shook her head, knowing they didn't make it.

Machiya: "What about the distress call to the camp?"

Kin: "We won't last until they arrive!"

Conna: "Wh-What about an assistance request to the Council of Humanity?"

Lily: "How many times do I have to tell you? Those guys will never send any assistance!"

Lily then throws a grenade behind the cover toward machines as it only destroys a few of the Machines but does not neutralize the entire wave of Machines.

Lily: "We'll lure them out to the valley up ahead, and then drop the bridge! If you're alive, follow me!" 

They head towards the bridge and back away from it. The bridge is a one-way path, and they have C4 explosives attached to its supports. Wata watches the bridge and then the incoming machines from his binoculars.

Wata: "Here they come. *saw something* Huh?"

Lily: "What is it?"

Wata: "There's a strange machine there just standing in the way of its kind."

Lily: "Don't mind it. Draw them in really close, then drop them."

The strange machine is big, average size and height of a brute human, and watches in shock as its own hostile kind tramples upon its garden. Making noises of what appear to be gasps of horror.

Wata: "They've passed the center!"

Lily: "Now!"

Conna twists the switch to set the bombs off, but it doesn't work due to the connection of the bombs being in disarray.

Lily: "What's wrong?!"

Conna: "No way. Did it break?"

Wata: "What are you doing? Set it off already!"

Conna: "Damn it. It won't explode!"

Kin: "If only Jackass was here right now!"

Lily was frustrated that she had no other option but to be in line and take the on herself, much to her teammate's disagreement.

Wata: "Leader! It's useless! Let's retreat!"

Lily just kept aiming her rifle towards the enemies, fighting way out for her remaining members of the Resistance. But suddenly whistles of incoming objects whizzed their way through the bridge, causing an explosion.

Then multiple missiles went their way to bombard the hostile machines in the field. But the strange machine was caught in the crossfire, blasting away after the explosion.

The strange machine was on a slab of rock and barely alive when it saw a beautiful glowing white flower. Its yellow-neutral eyes change to a green color, indicating it's in awe at its glow and beauty. It saw this flower and it tried to at least touch it before it died. He did it and he was shut down after fulfilling his last wish, falling into the deep abyss of the valley below.

She was in shock when she saw the destruction as it began raining down dead machines. One of them crashed behind her, she was so in shock that she turned around to look who had done it.

Lily: "Who in the world..."

She then saw the two YoRHa flight units hovering and 2B dropped down from its flight unit after throwing the sword on a still-alive machine through its head. The wind blew past her face seeing her face even more for Lily, Lily was in so shock that she wondered if she was "her".

Lily: "N-Number Two."

Then 9S dropped down along with his pod and with his katana on his shoulder, surveying the damage. Lily just sits on the ground still in shock at what she was seeing. But she was not the only one, the remaining Resistance members saw this too.

9S: "There we go. Miss 2B, we have completed the suppression now."

2B: "Yeah."

9S: "I'll return the flight units to the Bunker via autopilot. Well, machine lifeforms often act in groups, but this time it was on quite a large scale."

Pod 153: "Alert. Enemy signals detected."

9S: "Miss 2B, there are still survivors!"

Lily looks behind her to see the damaged Machien woken up and glaring eyes at the three Androids in front of her.

Machine: "Kill..."

The Machine suddenly started twitching as its insides were bloating which made everyone look in surprise. The Machine continued speaking and this time this is what made HIDEN shock in horror as they are watching this from Lycoris' pov.

Machine: "As the Ark... wills it..."

The Machine's chassis exploded causing everyone to duck down and Lily was knocked back by one of the fragments injuring her left arm. The Machine has become something far worse. It became a sentient liquid until it formed into a red-armored humanoid monster with wings and teeth.

Naki: "That's a...!"

Horobi says nothing as he can only stand up in shock. Izu's eyes widened, not changing her stance. Naki and Ikazuchi are in shock and just stop what they are doing, thinking they're seeing things. Y/n just gripped his fist like he knew it was coming but not knowing when.

Y/n: "Magia."

Jin: "Kuehne Magia."

The Magia known as Kuehne grabbed its wing blades and started attacking everyone with a guttural roar. As 9S dodges its attacks and 2B blocks it but she is being pushed slowly to the edge of the valley.

9S: "Pod!"

His pod fired bullets on the Magia but all it did was stop and turn towards 9S in anger. It then launches the blades like a boomerang towards him, the Resistance ducked down and dodged it before the Kuehne decided to target the vulnerable Lily.

Wata: Leader!

Kin: Get out of there!

Lily can't do anything as she sees this enemy's dominance of power over them. But suddenly its body was hit by shots that came from out of nowhere. The Magia howled in pain as they saw the source of the shots.

They saw a girl with short blue hair, holding a blue gun, and a belt, wearing a dark blue dress with black blazers, black shoes, and black pants. Lily recognized her which made her surprise even more.

Lycoris: Hey, ugly! Hands off of our clients!

She straps the belt around her waist and places the gun at the buckle. As she grabs something from her blazer's pocket.

Lycoris: I will never forgive you Machines for what you did to us.

Lily: *mutters* "N-Number 16."

She shows a small blue box called Progrise Key, the size of his palm and she presses it, making it glow and a voice emitted from it.

BULLET!

She then tries to pry it open with her sheer strength and will as she declares her purpose against the machines.

Lycoris: "You destroyed humanity... and hurt my friends! You are enemies of humanity! So that's why... I'll destroy you all!! RAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Lycoris pried it open as it made a clicking sound. Everyone's surprised at how she was really getting through this. Then she inserts it into her gun, the Shotriser.

KAMEN RIDER

It made an announcement making everyone look at her. She ejected the gun she positioned herself with determination as she pointed the gun at the Magia and said only one word to it.

Lycoris: "Henshin!"

SHOTRISE!

She pulls the trigger and fires her bullet towards it, but the bullet only hits the Magia a few times, grazing it as it backs away from Lily and YoRHa androids. The bullet suddenly opens its case and she punches it with force.

It breaks and suddenly forms up multiple armor plating, the veins in her body glow red, and she is now wearing a spandex suit. The armor plates began placing on her skin and connecting each other until the helmet had formed. Her full body armor is the motif of a wolf her eyes colors are blue and her suit is silver.

SHOOTING WOLF!!

The elevation increases as the bullet is fired.

Vulcan: "Kamen Rider Vulcan. Machine Lifeforms... I'll crush you all!"

Vulcan begins to shoot the Magia with such rage as she shoots it and the Magia dodges it before Vulcan kicks it to a nearby wall. Vulcan chases it and punches through but she punches the wall instead as the Magie grabs hold of her. But her sheer strength made the Magia get tossed over her and shoot it point blank at its torso. HIDEN watched it all as Naki was happy with what Lycoris had done.

Naki: "She really did it. She pried it open."

Horobi: *smirk* "By making herself the rule, she transforms just like Fuwa has."

Y/n: 'I bet you'll be proud to see this, Uncle Fuwa.'

The fight continues as Fuwa shoots the blades with her gun and when the blades return to the Magia she just shoots it without even looking and kicks it back to where it was before. The Resistance and YoRHa are just watching the fight.

2B: "What is that?"

Pod 042: "Unknown. This technology doesn't exist in the files of the Bunker."

9S: "Wait? Even in the deepest parts?"

Pod 153: "There is no known technology of Kamen Riders in the data banks."

When they saw that Magia got exhausted and could not, they saw Vulcan face it and holster the gun. She tells the Magia her last words before pressing the Progrise Key's button in the Shotriser.

Vulcan: "I'm destroying you, for good."

BULLET!

The gun suddenly 5 loaded 5 shots and she shoots the Magia with her first pull of the trigger. Then it summons 4 wolves hitting the Magia and immobilizing it by turning into hard steel poles. With one last raging cry, she fired the last shot which was a purple energy bullet heading straight to the Magia.

Vulcan: HAAAAA!!!

[BULLET-Shooting-Blast!]

It sent the Magia flying through the skies and exploded in a blue-purple energy. Everyone was in shock at how this armored android simply beat this abomination like nothing. They were knocked out of their stupor when 9s spoke.

9S: "Ok, everyone. It's all right now."

But before he could talk to one of the resistance, Lily suddenly grabbed the gun and pointed it toward 9S and Vulcan. Making 9S and other Resistance members look in surprise except for Vulcan.

Wata: "Lily!"

But Lily can't do it due to the wound on her arm. 2B orders Pod 042 to get something to treat her injury.

2B: "Pod, give me some staunching gel and the logic-virus vaccine."

Lily: "Don't worry about me! Hey!"

Then the twins get to her aid and emit an energy of where they are healing her wound.

9S: "They are..."

Wata: They're maintenance units permanently stationed with the Resistance. But anyway! Those black outfits and blindfolds. You guys must be YoRHa Soldiers! This is the first time I've met YoRHa Soldiers!

Kin: "The Council of Humanity answered our requests!"

While they kept talking, 9S just looked at 2B who was shaking her head and he just remained silent. After the twins heal Lily, Lily gets up and tells the team and the Androids.

Lily: "We'll head back to camp for now. You two, we'll talk once we get there. Including you, Vulcan."

But when she looked at where Vulcan was, she was gone. Vulcan already left making her mind run through frustrations.

Lily: Tsk. 'For the Council of Humanity to send reinforcements... The Kamen Riders to return at this moment...'

But unknown to everyone, somewhere on this planet, there is something more going on with these Machines than just behaviors. Multiple machines are in a dark cave, reading books.

All Machines: "At this rate... At this rate..."

They all say the same three words on a loop as they are looking at the books they have. Until they have said their first sentence and sentience.

Machines: "At this rate... I-It's no good!"

Up above is a giant sphere made from multiple machines joined together to create this. It glows yellow almost as if something is being formed inside the sphere. A life made from their sentience. Is it good, or bad?
