You wake up, your vision is very blurry. You blink a few times and see a pair of dark brown eyes. "What happened?" you crocked, your voice is raspy. "You saved my life." You slowly sit up. "How?" "You killed a dragon (y/n)" You look at Nico for a long time. "You're crazy." "Only the best people are crazy." (if you get this reference I love you.) "Weirdo." You look around. You see Javier laying down, talking to the stars. You seem to be in the woods. "Why are we still here?" You say turning to look at Nico. "We're almost to Camp. Don't worry it won't be much longer." You frown, "Camp?" He nods.
Javier sits up. "Are you two ready to go? We're fairly close." You stand up grabbing your backpack. "Vamonos." Javier chuckles and grabs his bag.

After about 10 minutes you three come across a road. "We just have to cross and head for the pine tree." Javier states pointing. You look towards the direction his finger in pointing to and see a tall pine tree. "It seems a bit far." "It's worth it though." Javier smiles at you and starts walking. You instantly hear a pair of hooves hit the asphalt. You turn towards the sound and realize it's coming from Javier. "Wait what? I di-didn't know you were half horse." "Goat (y/n), it's half goat." You stare at Javier for a while. "I'm definitely insane." Both of them laugh.

You guys cross the street with no problems and are now about half way through the woods.
"Peter Pan?" You and Nico were walking behind Javier. "Yes Wendy?" You feel yourself blush a little. "Why do you have a sword?" Nico chuckles. "You'll see." "You're making me feel like we're in Narnia, like there's an actual magic world out there." You sigh. "But sunshine, there is." You smile and look at the rising sun. "Don't lie to me Lost Boy." You turn to look at him. He was already looking at you. "You'd be surprised if I told you." "I like surprises." You leaned closer to him. This moment seemed more magical to you than a world full of gods and goddesses. It was the moment when you realized that you loved Nico di Angelo. You loved this moment. He smiled, a beautiful smile. "You're a demigod. Half God half human." You're smile slowly faded. "You're kidding." *silence* "None of my parents are gods. There's no way th-" "Not your deadbeat parents (y/n). One of them isn't your biological parent." "I think you have the wrong person Nico. I'm sorry." You wanted to cry, there was no way that you were special in anyway. You were just a human. Nico thought you were special. "You're a demigod." "No Nico I'm not, I'm really not. I'm not special enough to be one. I'm just a lame human. " Tears start to fall.
'I'm such a disappointment to everyone.'
You stopped walking and stared at Nico with eyes full of sadness. "I'm sorry." Javier turns around and sees you crying. "What did you do Nico?" "I told her she's a demigod." Javier ran to your side and hugged you. "(Y/n) stop crying. You're really a demigod. You're a amazing, you just think you're not because of the family you grew up with. They made you think you were worthless when you're not. You're fucking amazing. You fought a freaking dragon for fucks sake!" You hugged Javier back and sobbed for a minute or so.

You wiped you tears. "We need to keep walking then." Javier smiled and started to walk. Nico stared at you. He saw how insecure you were. He wanted to help his Wendy.

You walked about 5 minutes and then Javier yelled "Look (y/n)! It's right there! The entrance to camp!" You looked up and saw what he was talking about. Only a few yards away. "Come on!" you yelled and started running. They joined you. You heard a loud growl causing you to stop. "What was that?" you whisper. You turn around and there it was, the Minotaur. Javier looked at you. "Run to camp, once you pass the magical boarder you'll be safe." "I'm not leaving you guys here." Nico pushed me "(y/n) go!" You started running not daring to look back.
You heard Javier scream. You stopped dead in your tracks. He was in the hands of the Minotaur. You stated running again. "HELP." you yelled. "SOMEONE HELP ME." A group of demigods came running. "There's a Minotaur and it has my friends!" You scream. You were scared. The group ran but they were to late. Nico was already walking towards you. He was looking down. He was covered in golden dust. "He-he's gone." You stare at him in horror. "It's not possible!" You start sobbing. "NO!" Nico gives you a hug and you sob into his chest. "It can't be true."
The group of demigods were awkwardly standing there not sure what to do.

The Next Day.

You were inside the Hermes cabin, not wanting to go anywhere. The magical world you were now a part of didn't excite you anymore.
Nico came in with a happy meal in hand.
Nico blamed himself for everything. He could've easily shadow traveled you three from the beginning. "You need to eat (y/n)." He sat down next you and opened the box. "Eat a fry." You reached into the box and pulled out a French fry. You smiled. "Thank you Peter Pan."

The two of you help each other move on. You guys grew extremely close and Nico ended up falling in love with his Wendy (aka you).
