Once upon a time there was a young teenage girl who couldn't wait for the day she met her soulmate.

(y/n) sat at the Apollo table looking out into the distance. She was deep in her thoughts.
Nico is cute, he might be my prince. omg what if he actually likes me. Leo's pretty adorable too and he's funny. what about that Bryan kid? he's hilarious too.
On and on she went with those kind of thoughts. She just wanted to be happy with the person who only wants her. Was that too much to ask? Honestly life is so unfair.
"hey sis, what's your favorite color?" It was a random question but of course her favorite brother Austin had to ask. "Green, why?"
"Green is not a creative color."

"wow okay. tha-"
Nico caught your attention, again. "You really like him don't you?" "what kind of question is that? how am I not supposed to fall in love with him, look at how cute he looks with his pouty face." "I can get you a love potion from Aphrodite." "You would do that?" "Of course. Plus one of the girls from that cabin really likes me, I can ask her." "Please ask her. He's not going to notice me any other way."
"You sure?" "Yes I'm sure."

Austin got the potion with a lot of begging.

He gave the potion to (y/n). She immediately started brainstorming ways to get Nico to consume the potion.
A lot of her ideas seemed to obvious and wouldn't work. In the end she decided to bake Nico a cupcake & mix the icing with the potion.

She made the icing black, Nico's favorite color.
It make her anxious, what if it failed and he realized what she'd done? (y/n) would be devastated. She found the courage to give him the cupcake.

"Hey Neeks." He was all alone under that tree. "Hi." "You've been sitting under that tree all day, I've brought you something to snack on." (y/n) handed Nico the cupcake. "Th-thanks." "Don't mention it." She sat there watching him eat every bite of it. "How's it taste?" "It's delicious." (y/n) smiled brightly. Nico put the cupcake down. "why are you doing this? no one has ever been so nice to me." "I-I love you Nico." He stared blankly at her. "I-I love you too." Apparently the potion had worked liked planned.

-a few days later-

(y/n) and Nico were sitting under that same tree looking up at the beautiful stars.
"You know you didn't have to give me the potion," (y/n) felt guilt. "I love you, uveal ways have. The potion just made it clearer."
He kissed you. <3
