3rd person P.O.V.

It was the dead of night, a lovely couple lay sleeping soundlessly. They thought it would remain like that but fate had other plans. Pain started up from the woman's lower abdomen area, awaking her, she thought it was just period pain, but no less the a second later she realised she was pregnant and you can't have your period during pregnancy. Pain had yet to ceased through her, what could be happening she wondered, again pain shot through her more painful than the last she bit her fist muffling her screams, looking to her left to see that her husband still lay in peaceful rest.

She tried moving but she couldn't find the strength to, whatever was happening was most likely the cause of her weakness. She screamed as an instant pain shot up, this time getting the attention of her husband, he shot up at his lovers cry's of pain, instantly he was her side. She screamed more as the pain intensified, she felt hot liquid leaving her body from her reproductive system, she felt her husbands soft hand tracing over her face as he sipped at the tears that were rolling down her cheek. At least after five minutes the pain stopped and the bleeding was coming to an end.

They both knew what had happened, she had lost the child, he huddled her closer then before. He helped her get cleaned up and cleaned and changed the sheets, by three in the morning they had finally gotten back in bed, he held her close, his own tears about to spill, but he had to be strong, for the both of them. To think he could've had a son to teach all the ways to treat someone, or a little girl to call his princess. But now that fantasy had been destroyed, for the time being.
