Percy's  p.o.v.

i was walking to the Hades cabin, with my hands behind my back, holding what i had got for Nico. i knocked on the door, and nico opened it up, and he looked surprised when he saw me.

"yeah?" he asks me.

" i have something for you." i say, and then i pull my hands from behind my back, and in my right hand is a black kitten with gray ears.

"omg thank you!" nico says, and takes the kitten in his hands. " aw this thing is so cute!" he hugs me, and i know from his expression that he is happy. 

"your welcome" i say and then walk off.  little did i know, the cat would make Nico a little more cheerful.

A/N hey everyone! hope you like the first chapter! so really, the way i got the idea for this story is someone had said they thought someone should make a story where Nico gets a pet. and so i made this story. i hope you all enjoy it!
