Harry's POV

Nico is a strange dude. His class today was very...interesting. He keeps to himself very much, and only talks to the people he knew before he came. His teaching style is different as well. Instead of giving us work the first day, we actually got to learn about him. I'm still on the fence about whether or not we can trust him. On one side, he is Draco's brother. But on the other side, he looks a hell of a lot like what Voldemort's son would look like. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

The first month has come and gone, and Nico's class by far is the most peculiar. We haven't even learned defensive spells or anything yet. He told us that first we had to get into shape, and then we would start to learn. So the only thing he has had us do for his class so far was go to the gym and do these intense work outs.

The only people that could get through the whole thing was Draco, Hermione, and surprisingly Neville.

But today, Nico said we were going some place special, for he once us to learn a couple tricks to help us get out of sticky situations.

We arrived at the building. It looked like an old warehouse. But once we got inside, the class looked around in confusion. All around was weird equipment. Only a couple people seemed to know what it was, and started to get excited.

"Alright, I'm sure you all have a lot of questions, but before we get started, I would like to introduce you to your instructors." Nico said, looking around.

"Yo lovebirds, get your butts over here!" Nico yelled into seemingly empty space.

All of a sudden, two people emerged, looking slightly annoyed at the intrusion, before seeing who it was.

"Hey cuz! Where have you been? You've had camp worried sick about you. I swear to the gods di Angelo you ever do something like that again, I will—" the boy rambled embracing Nico.

"Jason, we have company. Nico, how about we have a little chat and you can tell us what's up." The girl said, dragging both boys off into a corner.

"Stay there and don't do anything idiotic. Hermione, your in charge til I get back." Nico yelled over his shoulder.

"Why do you always get put in charge?" Ron mumbled at Hermione.

Hermione just laughed.

I, however, was watching the group from afar. They seemed to be talking in a different language. I wonder what we will learn from this class.

Nico's POV

Now, I know it probably wasn't the best idea to show up at one of the special parkour gyms for the demigods, but these kids need training bad.

"Nico, what the Hades? Where have you been? Who are these kids? Why haven't you been at camp? Wh—" Jason started ranting as soon as we were alone.

"Woah, woah, Jace, calm down. I can't really say where I have been. I won't be back at camp for long periods of time. I'm on a quest. These kids are about to face a war and need some combat training. I've spent the last month getting them into shape. I'm going to spend the next couple weeks here, and I need your help because when I am out for demigod business, I need you to teach them." I tried to answer as many questions as possible.

"Ok, Nico, we will help you. When will you need us to train them by ourselves?" Piper asked.

"October 23rd should be the first day. I'm not sure after that." I responded.

Both gave me a knowing look. I turned around, ready to start my class.

"Now, I know many of you are wondering what this is, and why you haven't done any spells yet. Well you see, in battle, you may lose your wand and as of now, you have little experience when it comes to fighting without a wand. That's why, I will be teaching you physical combat, because that is what I excel in. For the next month, you will be having class in here with me, and these two other instructors who I will introduce. I will be having some guests teach you spells. The first guest will be coming on November 10th and will be staying for a week. Anyways, back on topic. We are in a parkour gym. Here you will be learning how to do some basic combat moves. On to these two people behind me. This is Piper McLean and Jason Grace. They are from where I am from and train here often. I have other business besides teaching you kids, so some days I won't be here, and these two will take over your training. Now, I think you might want a demonstration, correct?" I asked the group.

Everyone nodded enthusiastically.

I looked over at Piper and Jason, and then went over to the storage closet. I opened it and there was about 50 dummies that could be enchanted to fight.

"Jason, you're up first." I called over to him, enchanting 10 dummies and sending them over.

Jason got in his fighting stance, looking around. The dummies were surrounding him. Suddenly, he did a backhand-spring switching his legs in the air, knocking one dummy out, then kicking out at the end knocking another out. Two dummies ran at him and he grabbed their arms and flipped them into each other. Jason dashed out of the remaining six, running up the wall before flipping and landing on two more. One tried to kick him, and he grabbed its leg and threw the dummy far. Two ran at him from opposite directions, so he rolled out of the way, letting them crash into each other. The last one came at him and Jason knocked him out with a punch.

The class looked shocked.

"Piper, you're next!" I called, sending her ten dummies as well.

The dummies quickly surrounded Piper. One ran straight at her, and she grabbed its arms and swung it around, knocking the rest of the dummies out. She punched the one she was holding in the head to knock it out.

"Nico, you're up!" Jason yelled to me.

I watched as Jason and Piper sent 30 dummies my way. One ran at me from the front, and two from the sides. I did a straddle jump over the one in the front and it collided with 3 others behind me. While in the air I kicked the two coming at me from the side in the head. One ran over from the front, arms out to grab me. I grabbed its arms and swung it around like how Piper did, knocking out 10 before throwing the dummy to the side.  4 ran at me from different directions. I did a cartwheel backhand spring straddle jump, knocking them all out. I ran to the wall, putting my hands on the wall and jumping up, kicking out hitting the 4 dummies that chased me. Finally, I did a back flip over the remaining 5, before performing a variety of punches and kicks knocking them out.

I turned back to the class. Their eyes were wide open, along with their mouths.

"Now, who wants to learn how to do some of the stuff we just showed you?" I asked the class.

Every single hand went up.

"Alright then, let's get started. Draco, 'Mione, and Neville you have free range. The rest of you, we are going to take a test to determine how far along you are." I explained.

The test was for stamina, arm strength, leg strength, core strength, balance, flexibility, and grip strength. After the test was completed, the kids were split into groups of 10 based on skill level. We started all the groups on handstands, and it went surprisingly well. I was happy with how well everyone was doing. Hopefully, the progress of the students would increase extremely fast, getting them in shape to fight.

Once we finished up, I headed back to my room. I made sure all the provisions for when I would be leaving was ready. Oh crap. I forgot to tell Luna that she would be coming with me.

I ran down to the Ravenclaw common room.

"Luna, could you please come with me?" I asked her.

She got up and followed me back to my room.

"Yes, Nico, what do you want?" She asked, a little annoyed.

"Oh, I just wanted to tell you that you are excused from all classes on the 23rd, because you will be coming back for Will's birthday." I told her.

"Are you serious? Thanks so much Nico! I'm sooooo excited! I haven't seen Will in so long." Luna exclaimed.

"It's no problem. Alright, you might want to head back now. I'll see you later." I said.

"Kay Kay. Bye future brother in law!" She waved as she sauntered back.

I just groaned at sat down. I couldn't wait for the 23rd.
