When he's laying next to you, he will either:
*bend his head down to the crook of your neck, brush you lightly with his lips and the cuddle his face there as he falls asleep
*kiss the top of your head, then leaves his head either above yours or higher up to the side of yours on the pillow, putting his hand on you or wrapping his arms around you in a hug-like, protective manner

When he's putting you to bed, but isn't in bed with you, he will most likely kiss your temple if you're asleep, and smile lightly at you or give you a quick compliment (and will not repeat it, because he likes to think he's not a little cutie bug); or, he will kiss your cheekbone and rub his nose against you in a snuggling manner, smiling, and will peck your lips quickly.
