To Nico's horror, he actually agreed to do this.

No matter how annoying (adorable), mean (funny) and frustrating (kind) Will is, Nico couldn't complain. It was Will's idea, but Nico gave permission. He scowled in the mirror.

They had agreed that Nico needed to try something new with his wardrobe. Having been a pretty goth boy since his early teens (and never really growing that much, but don't tell him anyone notices that), his closet never shifted. He never got with the times, as Will joked.

Now, Nico is wearing Will's clothes. Yep, pastel pinks and yellows and all. Will had even taken it to the extent of changing the color of Nico's nail polish to a soft orange.

"I look like a... I don't even know, like a mess!" Nico grumbled, bathroom door shut.

"Come out and let me see!" Will encouraged. "I bet it looks great!"

Nico really didn't want anyone to see. He hadn't worn this much color in years. It felt unnatural.

With much hesitation and a grimace, he opened the bathroom door. Will was standing right outside, eyes landing on Nico immediately.

Will took in how Nico looked - amazing. Will blushed darkly, eyes widening. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say anything, Nico transformed into a turtle and slid his head into his shell.

"Aw, Ni! You looked great!" he sat, putting a hand on Nico's shell.

Nico pushed his head out and snapped at his hand.

Will flinched, "Okay, okay! Maybe colors aren't your thing... But you're still good-looking."

Shut up,  you adorable asshole! Nico thought, staying in turtle form for another few hours after that.
