Nick Goes To A Hot Spring
Nick walks around Kakariko village, taking in the sights of mostly decrepit, but still habitable buildings, and breathing in the hot, musty air. At the edge of the village, before entering Hyrule Fields, is Eldin's spring. A body of water with mystical looking rocks.
Nick steps into it, his sandled feet getting soaked in the process, but he pays no attention as it's hot and humid here and that's only because Death Mountain lies just beyond the small town.
The man suddenly gets an idea. Up the hill and atop the mountain itself lies a hot spring, one rumored to make you feel youthful and refreshed. Though, no Hylian has attempted to trek the perilous path full of Gorons.
Of course, the Gorons and residents of Kakariko have long since passed they feud, due to the help from the Hero, Link, many people are still wary to climb the dangerous mountain.
But Nick, Nick wants to soak in that hot spring, big scary rock people be damned.
So, Nick prepares for his journey. He hits up Malo's shop and purchases a red potion, lest he hurts himself on the way up. Next, he visits Barnes, his good friend that runs the bomb shop.
Barnes gives him a good deal on bombs and Nick takes his leave. At the entrance to the hill, which leads up to a big wall with rope to climb, Nick takes a deep breath, and with his sandals replaced with hiking shoes, he begins his journey.

Nick climbs, jumps, trips and many more all the way up until he comes to a stop to rest. He sits next to a strange stone that oddly gives off an echo of a howl. He takes a sip of water from his canteen and wipes the sweat off his forehead. After resting for a bit, the man stands up and continues.
He comes across a large open space. He inspects a large hole in the ground from what seems like a meteor as he descends stair like ledges. He warily walks around it and spots a Goron. Nervously, Nick approaches and clears his dry throat.
"Excuse me." The Goron narrows his eyes.
"What brings a Hylian like you up to these parts of Death Mountain?" he asks.
"I wish to bathe in the restoring properties of the legendary hot springs," Nick replies.
The Goron hums and nods, extending his rocky arm to the left. "Follow that path over there and you shall reach it in time."
Nick nods, "Thank you," and takes his leave. As he climbs up more ledges that get more and more higher as he goes on, Nick starts to think that Goron tricked him.
*Huff* *Puff* Out of breath, Nick just barely gets his hand over the last ledge, narrowly pulling himself up and rolling on the ground before losing all remaining stamina.
"I-I did it!" he celebrates, still lying down, his belly ascending and descending heavily with each breath. "The hot springs! It's really here!"
Getting up after getting efficient air, Nick notices many Gorons laze about in the shallow waters. Upon spotting the Hylian, the rock men approach him, still in the waters. "Halt, Hylian. Who are you?"
Nick opens his mouth, "My name is Ni-" but stops for a moment before continuing, "Tantar...My name is Tantar."
Many Gorons seem to nod and mumble in approval of his name, something Nick doesn't understand what for.
"In order to enter our sacred hot spring, Tantar, you must earn our approval," one says sternly.
Nick shrugs, "What do I have to do?"
"You know how one must remove their clothing to bathe?"
Nick nods.
All the Gorons around the one speaking start smiling and getting excited, murmuring to each other "You must do so as well, but in front of us."
Taken aback, the man's eyebrow raise in confusion. "Uh, what?"
The Goron stands up, putting his arms on his hips and bellows, "YOU MUST REMOVE YOUR CLOTH PIECES IN FRONT OF US AND EARN OUR APPROVAL IF YOU SHALL JOIN US OR NOT." Then, in a normal volume, adds, "We also enjoy a show in the process."
Fully weirded out, and a little scared, Nick starts walking backwards slowly. He pumps his hands and forces a smile. "You know what, I think I'm gonna...pass on this one. I'm not really in the mood for a soak anymore so..."
Taking the Gorons disappointed silence, Nick quickly runs around a corner to escape the rock men. As he thinks over his life choices for a moment, he hears a voice.
"ALRIGHT GORONS WHO'S READY FOR THE LINK-STER!!"
Nick doesn't look back.
