TW // Hanging, Pills, Death, Drawn Gore

My name is Jacob Wilson. I was always into the Planet Nlora cartoon, as it always intrigued me. I've always wanted to interact with my favorite characters from the cartoon, like I've wanted to pet Dev and wanted to hug Dahgi. One day, I was browsing through the Planet Nlora wiki, and I saw a thread talking about a weird "Planet Nlora" game on amazon. They said it wasn't licensed and it was sorta like Tomodachi Life but an RPG like Pokemon, with a story like Animal Crossing. I was very happy, since I realized I would be able to interact with all my favorite characters. It was for the Nintendo 3DS, which was one of the game consoles I had. Without hesitation, I looked up the game, found it, and bought it without knowing what I was getting myself into. A week later, I got the package. I took out the game case. It was odd, it just had the words "Le Town" on the front, it looked like it was written on. I took the game cartridge out of the case, and it looked kind of the same. I inserted the cartridge into my DS, and clicked on the Planet Nlora icon. The title screen was all colorful and bouncy, with the words "Press START to play." on the touch screen. I pressed start, and it seemed that the game just jumped into it. I saw a quick flash of what seemed to be Oxygen, before it cut to another screen. It was a "choose or make a new Mii" screen, so I just used the Mii I had on there, my replica of myself. The game faded into black, and then faded into the next scene. There, standing next to my character, was Oxygen, and we were standing in front of a bunch of residents. "I now pronounce Jacob the new president of Planet Nlora." He said. Everyone cheered. "Farewell, everyone." Oxygen proceeded to walk backstage. The game faded into an overview of the world. There were 4 options on the screen, saying: "Where will you go first? Funnyville, Devville, Le Town, Objectland.". I chose Devville, since that's where fan favorite Dev was. This is where it started getting weird.

I only had two houses in front of me, being Dev's house and Adella's house. I tried going to Adella's house first since I wanted to build up to Dev. Popup text appeared on the screen: "Adella isn't home right now." I clicked out, and then went to Dev's house. When I entered, Dev was standing there. He said "helo mr Jacob president, i Dev." I laughed at Dev's cute statement, since he's always extremely funny. There was an option to give him something, so I decided to try and get him something.  All I had was a knife. I wasn't able to go back, so I tapped on the knife. Text appeared, saying: "A knife used for cutting meat. It's been used once. Give Dev the knife?" "Yes, No." I chose yes. And then..the game crashed. I took out the game card, blew on the cartridge a bit, and then inserted it back in. I opened up the game again. Instead of the normal title card, it was popup text. "Planet Nlora: The Game had an unexpected crash. Returning to previous location..." It then sent me back to Devville, where I tried to go back into Dev's house. But it said "Dev isn't home right now." Sad and confused, I left Devville. I then headed down to Funnyville. It showed me three houses, Dat's house, Zach's house, and Zane's house. I clicked on Zach's house, and went in. There, Zach seemed sad. "Oh, hello new president..." he said. Two options appeared on the screen. "What's wrong?" and "Ignore him". Being curious, I asked "What's wrong?" Then, I heard something I'd never thought I hear. "Dev went to jail. Apparently, he murdered the previous president, Oxygen, with a knife. They found his fingerprints on the knife, and found traces of Oxygen's blood on it too." Zach said. He sounded like he was about to cry. I couldn't believe it, I was thinking to myself: "Why would Dev do that? He's too innocent." All of a sudden, Oxygen's corpse appeared on the screen. It was mangled up, bloodied, with multiple wounds in his chest and head. His eyes were lifeless. I was shocked and scared, yet I couldn't stop playing. I got myself into this situation, I should have known what I was doing.

It then cut back to Zach, who was sobbing on the floor. The room was darkened. "Leave me alone, Jacob. I don't want to talk right now." I was then forced out of the house. I tried to go back in the house, but it just said "Zach isn't home right now." I tried to go to the other houses, but it just said "Dat is working at the shop." and "Zane is visiting Dev." I then went back to the overview of the world, and then went to Funnyville. I tried to go to Robert and Nice's house, but it said "Robert/Nice is visiting Dev.". When I tapped on Dahgi's house, it brought me inside. Dahgi looked happy. "hello there president Jacob!" he said with a smile. "can you get me a dog bone?" Two options appeared. "Sure thing!" and "No.". I clicked "Sure thing!" thinking about what just happened. It then brought me to a shop, where Dat was. "Welcome." he said. It reminded me of Tomodachi Life. I searched through the catalog to find a dog bone, and some things weirded me out in the shop. There were pill bottles, knifes, guns, and a lot of other deadly objects. Planet Nlora isn't exactly a kids show, but it was weird how these things were here. I found the dog bone, bought it, and went back to Dahgi's house. An animation flashed on the screen of Dahgi crying and sobbing, shaking on the floor, before letting me in the house. "hello president!" he said. I went into my inventory, and gave him the dog bone. "thank you mr. president!" he cheered. The screen cut to static, and then cut back to Dahgi, who had a depressed and sorrowful expression now. "hey, president...when my bwfs come back, can you tell them they mean the world to me? and tell them i'm sorry..." Two options appeared. "Yes" "No" I said Yes. "thanks...now you can go visit Dev if you want...bye president jacob.." It forced me back to the overview of the world, where a new option was there. "Jail". I didn't automatically go there, but I wanted to go visit Fries in Objectland first. So I clicked on the Objectland, and it brought me there. 

It automatically brought me to Fries and Eyeball, who were standing next to each other in Fries' treehouse. This weirded me out, since Eyeball move to a different town. They both looked sorrowful. "Hey there new president Jacob..." they said in sync. "Did you see the news?" Fries said. Two options appeared. "Yes" "No". I clicked no. "Oh, well let me show you.." Eyeball said. The screen faded to black, and then faded to a news flash. Some random person I've never seen before was the newsperson. "News flash!" She said. "Local Le Town resident Zach found dead in his house." I was frightened. A little picture appeared in the corner. It was Zach, hanging by a noose. His eyes were a lightish pink color, it seemed he was crying a lot.

"Reports say he had a massive pill intake, and then he hanged himself from his ceiling fa-" It cut off. The news reporter's mouth was still moving, yet no audio played. Images were appearing in the corner, or at least trying to, because all that appeared was a black box with the words: "Image not found" in white text. A few seconds later, the animation completely stopped. A black banner at the top started scrolling with the words "THIS GAME IS NOT LICENSED, DISCARD IT." A text to speech voice started playing. "THIS GAME IS NOT LICENSED, DISCARD IT." The text said, looping. This went on for a few seconds, until everything went black, and the voice stopped. White popup arial text appeared on the top screen reading "Error: You attempted to walk into a character's house who was not home. Sending you back to the hub..." It sent me back to the main world, where all options were greyed out, except for jail. Hesitantly, I tapped on Jail. It was just a game, someone is just messing with me. The game sent me to a big prison complex, and I tapped on it. It brought me to a big variety of cells to tap and visit, though almost all of them were not accessible. I tapped on the only cell that was occupied, which was Dev's cell. It said "WARNING: Visiting an arrested character's cell may cause your game to crash. Continue?" Two options appeared. "Yes" "No". No was greyed out, so I had no other option but to choose yes. There, I saw a horrific sight.

Dev was crying in a cell. Adella was in the cell with him, also crying. Zane, Nice, and Robert were outside the cell, all mangled up and bloodied. A few background characters and other characters I didn't recognize were also there, mangled up and bloodied. The cells bars were opened, they seemed broken open. Adella turned to look at me. "How could you do this, you monster?" she said. Dev stopped crying and also turned to look at me. "You framed me, mr new president Jacob. Now you will pay." he said. A quick cutscene happened, where it showed my Mii character going backstage and killing Oxygen. Then it showed a little thing that happened before the cutscene, where my Mii killed Zane, Nice, and Robert, and put them outside the jail cell. "Turn around, Jacob." They said in sync, I turned around, and no one was there. I heard a loud screeching sound in my ears. I turned back and looked at the console, and it flashed a bunch of close ups of the dead bodies faces, including Eyeball and Fries, both seemingly with their brains blown out. Dahgi also was there, with a bone broken and in his chest. The game suddenly closed on me. I tried to load it up again, but it just said "Error: Game Card broken or corrupted. Check your settings." I went to my settings menu, and everything went black. Text appeared on the screen. "Nintendo DS has been corrupted. No going back." The screen went fully black again, and I saw a reflection of myself and two other people. I then felt breathing on my neck, and I heard them whisper behind me.

 "All your fault." They said in sync.

NEWS FLASH

16 year old Jacob Wilson has been found dead in their apartment. His body was found mangled and bloodied on his living room floor, with multiple stab wounds to the chest. The only evidence found was his "Nintendo 3DS" which was on the floor next to him, with the game inside being a fake game for an popular internet series called "Planet Nlora". The game consisted of nothing but a black screen with the words "Thank you for playing Planet Nlora." on the screen.
