Mavi's career was interesting. There was no other way of describing it. Sure she spent some time in various Formula 4 championships but she actually spent most of her time in Japan as a Super Formula driver. It was her time as a Super Formula driver that captured the attention of the Williams driver academy. There was just one problem. Mavi lacked the experience in Europe to move directly to Formula 2.
