00.00 - hello, june

There wasn't really a word to describe how it felt. Maybe content, but that felt like it still wasn't enough to represent the current feeling all over it that left it in a state of euphoria. It was such a perfect feeling and all it wanted to do was just exist, but it knew it had to wake up. It was like a pull at its soul that wouldn't let go and kept calling it with persistence. With little effort, it soon found itself in a sea of white where there seemed to be no end or beginning to it. It was just complete and utterly white that it almost hurt to look into the never-ending space and in the blink of an eye, it transformed into a room with walls colored in the softest shade of brown it had ever seen. If it had been in a human body, a soft smile would have graced his face but instead he was just a sphere of bright light floating in the immense space with no goal or purpose.

"You've woken up!" A voice sounded. The newly introduced voice showcased its happy mood and startled the sphere with its abrupt entrance.

With a clumsy movement, the sphere bobbled around in an unstable rotation until it managed to come face to face with a furry creature. It was the tiniest bunny, and it would have blended well into the background of the space if not for the single splash of white on its forehead.

"I've never seen a brown home space but I really like it," it exclaimed and hopped twice in excitement making its oversized ears flop with its body and enhancing its cuteness. The sphere took note that its voice resonated within the sphere and not the area itself almost like it was talking directly to it. It was telepathy between the two odd creatures that was allowing them to communicate.

The sphere slowly and cautiously maneuvered closer to the bunny like a toddler taking it's first steps and asked what it had wanted to know from the moment it woke up. "Do you know where I am? Who I am? What about what's going on?"

"Of course," the bunny happily said as it, without warning, jumped towards the sphere and collided with it making the sphere shake from the shock of the impact.

The sphere could faintly recognize the others' voice in the background as it exclaimed, "I'm so sorry! I wasn't supposed to hit you that hard!" It had been too excited to be helpful.

Not only did the impact bring pain but also a slew of images that were quickly replaced by new ones putting together an incomplete story explaining what the future held for the sphere.

Unbeknownst to many like the sphere, the universe consisted of many parallel worlds, each slightly or very different from the next. These worlds were always constantly transferring in and out souls that are reincarnating to help them maintain a perfect equilibrium and avoiding the collapse of the worlds. Certain souls are meant to experience a set amount of retribution and prosperity which are calculated based on how they acted in their previous lives. For a world to stay stable, it must aways maintain an equal balance of prosperity and retribution between its souls. Sometimes souls couldn't complete their life cycles properly causing the world to repair this problem but in a manner that caused more harm than good. The only solution was to place souls in as placeholders to keep the worlds on track.

With this new information, the sphere was able to quickly realize it's new role as a traveler.

"Are you okay?" the bunny nervously repeated as it waited for the sphere to recover.

"Yeah, I'm good. You're a lot stronger than you look."

The bunny let out a awkward laugh as it nervously said, "Sorry."

"It's fine but can I ask you something though?"

"Of course."

"What about me? There was no information about me? So, do you know who I am? What I am?" it calmly asked.

The bunny fell quiet for the first time since the two met.

"I don't know." The bunny hesitantly answered before slowly continuing, "I don't have that information. To be honest, a lot of the information I have limited. The only thing I can tell you is that if you agree to help, we will help you too but I'm sorry that's all I have for you." Its ears drooped down as its own mood fell.

This time it was the sphere turn to become quiet as it thought. It had a feeling that if it rejected the offer, the situation wouldn't get any better.

With little reluctance, the sphere understood what the next step is at it said, "I guess we should start soon."

It had just found a purpose which was to help this bunny because it seemed that the tiny animal was the only lead to explaining who the sphere was.

The fuzzy creature immediately perked up at the sphere's acceptance before saying, "you just have to touch me, and we'll be teleported into the world."

The sphere moved with more grace than last time to the animal that stood patiently as it didn't want to hurt its traveler again. Before the two touched, the sphere paused as it dawned on him that the creature never properly introduced itself.

"What's your name?" it asked.

"Bonnie."

"Well..." the sphere paused.

"You can call me June."
