Alec stops by every day to water plants/check mail and you two end up hitting it off. When ty comes back with his fiancé he catches you two cuddle sleeping together?? "Bye guys! Have a great time!" I yell as I walk back inside careful of my brothers dog.

Though I run to change into my most comfortable sleeping short shorts and my most favorite sports bra and hoodie.

"Alright buddy, lets watch some tv." I said picking up the small pup and settling down on the couch.

The dog deciding to curl up in my lap like a cat.

Anyway, half way through the new episode of 'Expedition unknown' I hear a key in the door. Thinking my brother forgot something, which would be such a shock I mean he remembers everything, can you feel the sarcasm?

But when I looked at the door it wasn't my brother. Instead it was his very hot, very kind, teammate Alec Martinez.

"Hey, you must be Tyler's sister, (y/n). Right?" He asks putting his hand out.

"In the flesh. You must be that teammate Alec, right?" I reply, mocking him and getting a laugh from Alec. While also shaking his hand. Our grips linger a second to long.

"I just came in to drop off your brother's mail. I gotta water the plants real quick then I'll be out of your hair." Alec says with a chuckle.

"You don't have to rush- I mean, I don't want you to think that your annoying me cause your not." I reply, a dark red blush on my cheeks. Making me put my head down. Which causes Alec to laugh.

"Alright, I'm just gonna go water the plants." He says walking outside, only to come back inside about three minutes later.

"Umm, this is gonna sound stupid but, do you know where the hose is?" He asks scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah, follow me." I reply walking around to the left side of the house and grabbing it from behind the bushes. When I turn around I see Alec quickly move his gaze.

"Mr. Martinez, I do hope you were admiring the bushes and not my butt." I reply with a smirk.

"Ummm.....sorry it was ummm... there was a bee and I didn't want it to sting you." He says fumbling with his words.

"If you say so, water boy." I reply smirking. I then walk back inside to watch my tv show. That was after locking the door behind me. I mean, Alec has a key.

Just as I'm settled in, there is a knock on the door. When I open it Alex is on the other side with a sheepish look.

"I umm... I kinda for got my key, in the house."

"you do know that defeats the point of having a house key, right?" I ask letting him in.

"Yeah, I guess I just wasn't thinking about it at the time." He says grabbing his key.

"Alright well I will see you tomorrow, I guess, right water boy."

"I will see you tomorrow Tyler's sister."

"Oh, here's my number in case you forget your key again." I reply scribbling it down on his hand with a nearby pen. Also adding a 'if lost please return to Toffoli residence.'

"Hahaha, your so funny." He says when he looks at his hand.

"Night." I reply as he walks out.

"Goodnight little Toffoli." He says locking and closing the door behind himself.

"Hey sleepy head," I heard feeling a slight nudge on my shoulder.

"What do you want Tyler?" I grumble, my eyes still closed.

"It's not Tyler. It's Alec." He says nudging me again.

"Do you need help finding the hose again?" I ask opening my eyes lazily.

"Haha very funny, but don't you need to take care of the dog?" He asks.

"Yeah, thanks for waking me up." I say standing up. This is when I feel the breeze on my stomach. When I look down my face turns red, as I remember that I took my hoodie off before I fell asleep.

"Do you have a fever?" He asks with a smirk, taking a step closer and putting his hand on my head.

His face only inches from mine.
We both looked into each other's eyes. Both of us leaning in and closing our eyes. Just as our lips grazed each other's, the dog starts barking. Braking is both from our trance.

"I'm....uh...I'm sorry, that was out of line." Alec says taking a step back, a dark red blush covering his cheeks.

"Then I guess we're both out of line." I reply with a smirk. Walking away toward the door.

"Oh, be careful by the door, there were wasps and stuff flying around while I was watering the plants. Almost got stung like ten times." He says as he takes a seat on the couch.

"Thanks, oh and make yourself at home." I reply rolling my eyes and walking outside with the dog to keep an eye on it.

As I'm walking outside I don't see the wasp flying near me, that is until I feel a sharp and burning pain in my arm. To which I quickly grab the dog and go inside.

"Alec, can you get me some lemon juice please?" I ask applying pressure to my arm as it gradually goes numb.

"Sure thing babe." Alec says as he basically runs into the kitchen grabbing what I asked for.

"Alec, you called me babe. Thanks by the way." I say while dabbing the lemon juice onto my arm after putting the dog down.

"How about we sit down." Alec says as he picks me up bridal style and places me on the couch him right next to me.

"You know. Your actually pretty cute." I say poking his nose.

"You know. Your actually pretty beautiful." He says poking my nose.

"How's your arm feeling?" He asks putting his arms around me.

"It's still sore but it's getting better." I reply.

"Alright, well, I better get going. I will see you next time. I might get lost. You know have to be returned to the Toffoli house." He says. Showing me his hand.

"You know Martinez, I tend to get lost a lot too. I also tend to forget my key and since you have the spare. Maybe I should get your number. You know, in case I get lost." I reply, handing him a pen and my hand.

After he finishes writing I look at my hand to see he wrote his number and 'if found please return to #27 of the LA kings.'

We stayed and talked for a bit longer and before we knew it it was dark out and the rain started pouring.

"It's not safe for you to drive. You can crash here if you want." I reply leaning into his side.

"You take the bed and ill take the couch?" He says unsure.

"I am not sleeping in there bed. I have no idea what they have done there nor do I want to know."

"Okay then, I'll sleep on the flor and you take the couch." He says starting to get up. Though I grab his hand and stop him.

"I mean, we could always share the couch. You know, I mean, we can't have a former Stanley cup champion sleeping on the floor." I reply with a challenging smirk.

"I mean, I guess your right. But I mean I am pretty tired. So how are we gonna sleep?" He asks looking at me with fake curiosity.

"Your the defenseman. You figure out the strategy."

"Well, I mean, I guess I could come up with something. What about I lay down and you lay on top of me?" He says shifting both of us into the position.

I am literally laying right on top of him. We are face to chest I guess.

My head is on his chest and his arms are around me. My leg between two of his. With my other one between the back of the couch and his leg.

He stars to run one of his hands up and down my back. While placing kisses on my head.

"You both do know that taking care of the house together doesn't mean that you guys have to sleep in the house together right?" Tyler's asks as he shakes both Alec and I awake.

"We know." I mumble. Snuggling farther into Alec.

"Yeah well, I hate to be rude but, I would like to celebrate with my fiancé. So, go somewhere that is not here and cuddle." He says.

Well Alec and I did exactly that. Now here we are two years later. With our newborn son.
