small a/n/- I'm a long time Blackhawks fan so this is hilarious that I'm doing this but I'm so dang attracted to his boy I couldn't help it.

Colton's POV
Would you call a relationship a relationship when you haven't seen your girlfriend in a year and a half? I sure as hell know I would. My beautiful girlfriend, Y/N has been deployed in Afghanistan for the past year and a half. We FaceTime often but it isn't the same. Today, the love of my life was coming back for the first time in a year and a half and I didn't know what to do. I'd been dating Y/N for 7 years. Was she expected a proposal? Should I tell my mom about the ring? I felt like I should propose. She's been with me  through everything. My first games with the Wolves, my first games with the Blues, my first goal with the Blues, my first career NHL game. Everything I do, I do it for her. She's my biggest inspiration. She's what I wake up for every morning. I was walking into the locker room when I heard someone mention Y/N. I looked up and saw Tarasenko and Pietrangelo talking about Y/N. "Damn. She's a stunner. If I was Colton, I would never leave her side. She'd be a nice lay." I heard Vladimir say. My blood boiled. Did they think they could talk about my Y/N like that? She's a human, not a sex toy. "You know what Y/N is really good at? Making cookies. Cheering me up. Fighting for our country. Making me smile. Beating me in NHL 16. Getting along with my siblings. Being loyal to me. Being precious. Taking videos of me singing Justin Bieber. Doing the laundry. Calculus. Those are things that my Y/N is good at doing. And I swear to god, if I ever, hear you talk about the love of my life like she isn't the goddess she is, you will be throughly sorry. Understood?" I stated, towering over Vlad. "Sorry man. I didn't mean it. She's a stunner though." he smirked. "And good thing she's my stunner." I said and walked away.

"W-what did he say about me?" Y/N asked, her voice shaking. Y/N had an incredible body. She was fit, lean, skinny, and her butt and boobs were huge. That's not what I loved about her, though. Those things weren't even a single dash mark in a list of things I love about her. She was always worried that too many people wanted her for her body. That's how she felt when I first met her. When I first met her, we were 14 years old and she still had a better body than a 25 year old model. It wasn't just from the military. She was naturally built. "He said you were a 'stunner.' He said if he were me, he wouldn't be able to stop hooking up with you. That you would be a nice lay." I told her, not being able to look into her tear stained eyes, even though she was on the phone. She was about to leave for the airport to come home from Afghanistan. She wouldn't be going back until they needed her. "D-did you say anything?" she asked. "Of course I did, baby girl. I'll always stand up for you. I told him a list of things I loved about you. Now in case you forgot, you were on your way to Come see me. If you really want to talk about this, we can talk about it when you get here tomorrow, okay? I love you baby doll." I said. "Love you too, Colt." she said smiling, and blowing me a kiss. I blew her a kiss and then we hung up.

Your POV
The only reason I wanted him to keep talking is to distract him from the fact that I was sitting in our house right now. He was at the rink, and wouldn't be coming home until after the game. I laid in his bed, watching Netflix until I decided to go get ready for the game. I put on one of the many Parayko jerseys I had. I decided on the military warm up jersey today. It was only fitting. I drove to the arena and found Alex Steen. He had been helping me plan this. "Hey Alex!" I said and walked up to him. "Y/N! Love the jersey!" he said smiling and I blushed. "Let's get you to the tunnel." he said to me. We walked to the tunnel. I saw Colton on the blue line, waiting for the national anthem to come on. "Ladies and gentleman, please rise for someone we know Parayko loves. "Y/N L/N, Colton Parayko's long time girlfriend who has been serving in the United States Army for the past year and a half." I walked out, smiling and waving. I saw Colton and I winked at him. Tears started flowing down both of our cheeks and he skated up to me as fast as he could go, tackling me in a hug. "Oh my god, it's really you." he gasped and ran his hands over my face. "It's me, Colt." he said and smiles grew on both of our faces. He pulled me into a kiss. "I love you so much beautiful. So much, darling." he told me and I kissed him. "I love you, Colton Parayko."

a/n- Colton Parayko has a face even a hawks fan can love ;)))) also just pretend Tarasenko isn't married in this. idk Pietrangelo's status, so if he's married or taken, just pretend he isn't. Parayko is really the only guy I like on the blues😂 Senko's okay too, I guess 😉
