you and brock had only been dating for about a month but you liked everything about him.

you guys texted pretty often about anything and everything. when brock told you he was bringing his dogs coolie and milo to the dog park on his off day, you thought it was the perfect opportunity to surprise him with a little date.

you showed up to the dog park with your dog and began to walk over to brock.

when brock saw your dog, he immediately looked around to see if you were there.

"hey brock." you said and saw the gigantic smile rise onto his face.

"hey y/n." brock said and gave you a hug, "what brings you here?"

"i have a date planned." you smiled.

"i thought i planned all the dates." he said with a chuckle.

"well good thing it's not for you then." you told him.

"then who's it for?" brock asked confusedly.

you pointed towards milo and your dog who were already playing together. they were about the same age.

"look b, they already love each other." you gushed and leaned on his shoulder.

brock laughed and shook his head, "you're too much sometimes." he told you.

you nodded in agreement.

"we can take them to the ice cream parlour and get them doggie cones while we get real ones." you told him.

brock smiled and put an arm around you, "okay then. they do look pretty compatible." he chuckled.

you nodded, "we can't take away from puppy love."

brock laughed again and nodded.

"what about coolie? he needs love too." brock asked.

"coolie is in love with me" you laughed.

coolie was brock's older dog and he loved to snuggle up right next to you whenever you came over to brock's apartment.

"you are very right. he takes away my snuggle buddy."

you smiled and shrugged.

when all of the dogs got a bit tired, you and brock got them in the cars and drove them to the ice cream parlour that served pup cones.

you ordered the ice creams for the dogs and for you and brock.

"thanks y/n." brock smiled and took the ice cream out of your hand.

you went outside and ate the ice cream together. the dogs had there's done pretty quickly and sat at your feet wanting more from your hands.

"do you want to take a little walk around the park downtown nearby?" brock asked, "milo and coolie love it."

you nodded, "yeah she probably needs to take
some more energy off anyway." you chuckled.

your dog wasn't at the age where she was still a puppy but she sure acted like one.

brock smiled and nodded, "oh yeah she does. little hyper girl."

brock gave her some love before they threw away their trash and began the route to the park.

you walked around the park twice before sitting down for a bit.

"do you want to come back to my place? we can get some dinner or something?" brock offered a bit nervously.

you nodded with a smile, "i would love to. is it okay if i bring her?" you asked and pointed at your puppy.

brock nodded quickly, "of course. especially because she's milo's girlfriend now."

you chuckled and nodded.

later that night, you ended up on the couch with dogs surrounding the both of you as you and brock casually cuddled.

"i'm glad the date worked out. i mean look at them." brock said and pointed to the puppies being all cuddled together.

you nodded, "looks like they will be going on another one very soon."

"let me know the time and place." brock smiled and kissed your forehead.

not only were your dogs hopelessly in love, but you were hopelessly in love with brock boeser.
