It was early in the morning when Martin got up to perform his new job, a garbage man. He was already mad as is, because he was one of the greatest goalies of all time.

He believed that he was royalty, and no person of noble status should take the trash out for themselves.

Nope, he was stuck doing it for everyone in NHL City. Martin hated it, but at least he was a one man crew.

He got into his new garbage truck, or 'The Crusher' as the kids called it. The front resembled that of a monster, with big metal teeth that would open and close when Martin pressed a button.

He started the contraption up, and started to drive it out on the street. Sure enough, as he starts to gather the trash, he hears the one sound that he wasn't expecting: kids yelling at him, "Crush it!"

I never knew that kids liked garbage so much. So, he pressed the majestic red button and the teeth start to tear up the trash. The kids started yelling and shouting out of pure joy.

So, he moved onto the next area, and his following of kids increased as he took out the trash. The noise level increased as he destroyed the trash. I guess kids like seeing me destroy trash. This is a little bit odd.

As he moves about NHL City, he hears one kid shout, "You're the best, Mr. Brodeur!"

Martin exited his truck ever so quickly to go see the tiny tot that yelled that to him. That kid smiled when he saw Martin approach him.

Martin smiled at the kid and said, "Thank you."

At that moment, it didn't matter that he wasn't the king of all of the NHL goalies. He was just happy that he made some kid's day...by taking out the trash.
