"WAKE UP!" VICTORIA HEARS, but was feeling so comfortable that she ignores.
"Wake up or I'll do it for you," Victoria hears again.
"What?" She says half-asleep
"We've got to get moving," Jason says and she struggles to get up.
"Couldn't you just wake me up like a minute later?! I was having the best dream ever and you just had to ruin it," She says pretty fast that she wasn't sure if Jason heard her.
"Is it the one where you were in a date with Harry Styles and he wanted to kiss you?" She says with a smirk.
"How do you know that?" She asks feeling embarrassed
"You talk in your sleep," he answers. "Get up quickly. We've got to start moving" he continues and Victoria gets up to see she was barefoot.
"My shoes, I think I left them by the river. I'll be right back" She speaks and runs off to the river leaving Jason to pack up. She felt like she was being watched, though there where many animal eyes watching, she still felt like something was wrong.
On wearing her shoes, she turns to leave but she hears a rustling in the bushes and walks towards the sound gently but cautiously. She had had enough experiences to know never to take anything for granted.
"Hello is anyone there?" She asks moving closer to the spot where the sound came from, feeling a little frightened. She remembered what Rio had said when they were both watching a horror movie.
"Why do the people always say hello when they are about to be killed? It's not like the killer would say Hey I'm here to kill you. Come on right in!" He had made her laugh so much, blood came out of her nose.
Closer, the closer Victoria got, the more nervous and felt. She moves her hands towards the bush and opens it quickly only to see a little squirrel munching on some nuts.
Great job Victoria! You got scared of a little squirrel. She thinks to myself and turns only to hit a figure. It was a woman. Where had she come from? Why hadn't she sensed her presence?
"Oops, I'm sorry."
"Don't be my girl" The woman looked middle-aged. She is a beautiful, Latina with a slender physique. She had olive skin with straight raven black hair. She also had grey eyes, and the worst part was that she was levitating- a witch!
Victoria could literally smell that she wasn't here to grant her wishes, she was bad. She turns to run but is faced with two gigantic werewolves. She was joking when she said gigantic, they were about 7 feet tall. Their eyes were glowing bright yellow and they had already unsheathed their fangs.
"Who are you?" She asks preparing to defend herself or if it came to it fight on the offense.
"All will be revealed in due time," She says and blows a powder from her hands. I knew that smell from somewhere. Veronal! She tries to run, but she felt herself to paralyzed. The Verona had already reached her system.
"Help!" She manages to scream before darkness takes over.

Jason had just finished packing up when he hears a THUD just close to the river.
"Victoria?" He helps but no reply came.
He runs to the river, only to see Victoria on the ground. He is about to run towards when two wolves appeared from the bushes. Behind them, was a figure in a cloak, he tries to reach for his knife but he realizes he had left it behind. He bares his fangs and class ready to attack.
One of the wolves assailed towards him, but he sidesteps and slams it into the river. The other pounces and Jason jumps over it, pushing his claws into his side and tossing it away. The wolf in the river had already recovered and was already lunging towards him, but he was ready. He tries to strike him, but a white smoke envelopes him. He struggles to free himself, but he suddenly felt immobilized and begins to fall to the ground. The cloaked figure walks towards him, walking at a slow pace like she had all the time in the world. Something about the figure felt familiar to Jason but he felt so dazed, he couldn't focus.
"Don't worry Jason, you'll be just fine." The figure says before Jason blacks out.

"Wake up dear" Jason could hear and open his eyes to see the cloaked figure with about three supernaturals, but this time it... or rather she was now uncloaked. He was faced with Diaspora- the city sorceress. Jason knew that Diaspora was a weird name for a lady... or anyone in general, but no one actually knew her real name and she got dubbed Diaspora after she caused an entire army to run away before the battle even started.
"My head," He complained at his head which felt like it was hit by a baseball bat... made of steel.
"The Veronal must have been really strong, but don't worry it will soon wear off... hopefully," Diaspora says.
"Why the hell would you do that?" He asks feeling the pain subside.
"Do what?" Diaspora inquired facing him as he got up.
"Knock me out?!"
"Oh! that was just because Marcus thought you may defy his rules and end up helping the girl, and asked me to watch you," She vocalize and Jason felt shocked. Marcus didn't trust him. "I saw your little rendezvous yesterday, and besides the veronal wasn't necessary, but I love drama" she sings out and Jason rolls his eyes, and from the corner of his eyes, he sees an unconscious Victoria and quickly moves towards her.
"Victoria," He says tapping her cheek. She wants waking up and her body was cold. Yes, she had nobody temperature, but she still felt colder than usual.
"What have you done to her? If she dies, Marcus will have your head." He growls and Diaspora's face showed slight fear at the realization that Victoria might die. Jason kept on trying to wake Victoria up continuously tapping. He was scared that he would have to big her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
"Mom!!!" she yells jerking up.
"Victoria," Jason says again and Victoria holds her head in pain. Headaches- He thinks to himself glaring daggers at Diaspora.
"There was a woman," she begins panicking.
"Shhhh- it's okay," He whispers, calming her down. He has to avoid getting close to her, but that didn't mean he couldn't keep her sane.
"How long have we been out?" Jason inquires from Diaspora, helping Victoria up.
"Uh... A week," Diaspora answers avoiding eye contact.
"A week!!!" Victoria and Jason shrieked in unison.
"Turn it down, you both should be happy. The dosage I have you could have killed you, or at least had some side effects." she defends herself.
"Oh that makes me feel a lot better," Victoria utters sarcastically.
Diaspora only smiles and orders the supernaturals to tend to Jason and Victoria. Tending to their wounds, and providing them with food. Diaspora also filled them in about what happened after Jason took Victoria out of the battleground. It turns out the vampires retreated when they found out their leader had died. That part made Victoria almost die herself, she couldn't cry. She had to bottle up her feelings at least for now, she couldn't let Diaspora and Jason see her vulnerable side.
They waited for the supernaturals to clear the camp and ensure the area looked deserted before they were ready to continue their journey.
Victoria was worried. When she was unconscious, She had received a sign that she shouldn't escape. She had to deliver herself to Marcus. She wasn't sure why, but she felt it was important. She had to do something in Blood City, She wasn't sure what.
She had to get to Blood City...
