Somewhere in the forest

3rd P.O.V

???: Hurry ! Run for your lives and do not turn back ! I'll handle these pests...

"Those words were running through the mind of an unconscious person, specifically a girl with blonde hair who was laid on the ground. She looks to be bruised in her cheek and left arm, most likely burned from a fire, fortunately she was still looking healthy and was still alive, just not awake yet. Surrounding her were other group of people who were treating their injuries, they appear human, but they contained features that no human being would have. One of them was a girl with a hair color that was closely similar to a crocodile's skin, in fact, a crocodile isn't far away to what she was as her eyes were similar to one and she even has a similar tail to the reptile"

"She appears to be biting her right arm with her sharp teeth, she was bitten there already and now it left a nasty pain in her arm, she was trying to get that pain to go away. Although she will have a hard time doing so and she'll need to find another method"

"Three girls with white hair were busy treating their injuries, fortunately they weren't serious one. One of the white haired girls had piercing yellow eyes and wears an eye patch on her right eye, that wasn't because she was injured there. Her true injury was her shoulder and it appears to be a slash mark from sharp claws, she was fortunately no longer losing blood and the injury was now a simple scar. Still, she still decides to lick it with her forked snake tongue, making sure she doesn't lose enough blood"

"Another one of them had two different eye colors, her left eye was green and her right eye was yellow. She appears to be limping a bit, but can still walk correctly without a problem, one of her legs had a nasty bite mark that she received from the attack. This injury wouldn't really make things difficult for her, although in the case of a confrontation, that would up for debate"

"The third white haired girl who was surprisingly short compared to everyone and had red eyes, appeared to have a simple slash mark on her cheek, although it wasn't problematic since she wasn't really losing any blood at this point. She was just looking around their surroundings, making sure that no threat was making it's way towards them, even though they were inside a huge cave"

???: Uhhhhh Martha ? I don't think any Devil of Fire would find this place

"Said a boy with brown hair and eyes to Martha, telling her that such a threat wouldn't really make itself in a place like this"

Martha: *sighs* Perhaps, but we still need stay on our guards. Just in case

???: Speaking from your experience, I think you got a point

Martha: *looks at him smirking* You also went through that phase, Chris

Chris: *chuckles* Good point

"Suddenly they heard the sound of someone gasping for air, they look to see the blonde haired girl regaining her consciousness and waking up. Opening her yellow eyes, her eyes suddenly widened and she stood up panicking"

???: Oh my god !!! We got to run !!! QUICK !!! BEFORE WE GET EATEN ALIVE !!!!!

Martha: Aviva ! Calm down ! We're safe now

"The blonde girl named Aviva was panting heavily as she was beginning to calm down, upon looking around her surroundings, she saw that she was in a completely different environment"

Aviva: Where are we ?

Chris: Inside a cave, away from any Devil of Fire that would try to eat us

Aviva: A cave ?

"She asked confused as she keeps looking around her environment and then proceeds to head to the outside of the cave. What she saw was astonishing"

(A/N: music)

"The outside was a large and stunning forest filled with numerous trees and a river passing by. Aviva was hypnotized by this beautiful sight, it was something that she had never seen in her life and she was glad to have seen it"

Aviva: This is..........heaven

Martha: If you ignore the Devils of Fire, then yeah

Aviva: Yeah........Oh shoot ! Gotta do the roll call and make sure everyone is here

Chris: I don't think you need to-

Aviva: Martha !

Martha: I'm here

Chris: Oh so we're doing it anyway...

Aviva: Chris !

Chris: You already heard me...

Aviva: Linda !

Linda: At your service, if it means doing an awesome death roll

Aviva: Carra !

"The left green eye of the white haired girl named Carra began to glow"

Carra: We're here

Aviva: We ? Oh right, I keep forgetting that you got three personalities

"Carra's left green eye stopped glowing and her right yellow eye soon glowed. Her attitude suddenly changed from calm to loud"

Carra: We've been friends for this long and you keep forgetting that ?!

Aviva: *giggles nervously* Let's just ignore that. Mia !

"The girl with the piercing yellow eyes and the eye patch stopped licking her shoulder with her forked tongue and immediately looked at her. Like a snake spotting a potential prey"

Mia: *raises her hand* Present !

Aviva: And then there's me. Seems like half of the squad is here, which is good. Now for the important people, Aya !

"She called out her name but didn't receive a response from her, noticing this, she looked around trying to see where she was"

Aviva: Aya ? You there ?

Linda: She's not here

Aviva: Wait what ?

"Starting to become worried, the blonde girl runs around the cave trying to find her in hopes that she was here and not hurt"

Aviva: Aya ! AYA !!! Where are you ?! Chloe ? Spyro ? Where are they ?!

Mia: Aviva, calm down. Panicking isn't going to solve this

Aviva: How can I stay calm ?! The rest of my friends are not here ! What if something bad happened to them ?!

Linda: Seems like I can agree with you for once. Ruri is not here either, and I don't know what happened to her...

"Stated the crocodile girl while clenching her fist upon mentioning this other individual named Ruri. It seemed like they were an important person for Linda, perhaps even more than just a simple friendship"

Aviva: This is bad...

"Aviva then proceeds to walk back and forth, getting even more worried and soon stomps the ground while groaning in frustration"

Aviva: Curse those Devils of Fire !!! How did they found us ?!

Martha: That's a good question, but we might never know the answer

"Both of Carra's eyes suddenly become blue and she seems to be getting slightly aggressive"

Carra: Something tells me that someone told them about our whereabouts...

Chris: That seems possible. Although we have no clue of who that could be

Mia: A human ?

Martha: I doubt they would know about the kingdom. It was specifically hidden from them or any sort of threat

Linda: Well, seems like the secret is out now

Aviva: Okay, so it's only us here. Aya and her family are probably somewhere out there. We got to find them !

"Aviva was going to head outside, until she was stopped by a burning pain in her left arm. Hissing in pain and taking a look at what it could be, she saw that her left arm was burned badly"

Martha: I don't think that would be a good idea, especially in your case Aviva. You probably won't be able to fly till your healed, that's why we need to recover first. Besides, I've been noticing a strange amount of activity from the Devils of Fire, and that's certainly not natural...

Aviva: What ? What does that mean ?

Chris: It means that going outside would be suicide. Devils of Fire have become more active than usual and that's not a good sign at all

"Although she didn't like it, Aviva eventually took into account their words and decided to listen for now. She sits down while trying to make herself comfortable from the pain that she was feeling"

Aviva: I just hope they're alright...

Mia: We're all worried for them Aviva. We can only hope that they are

Carra: What about their father ?

Linda: Dude ! Have you seen the guy fighting ? He's totally got this

Martha: I agree on that. But for Aya and her siblings, this is all new to them. They'll have to slowly adapt to this environment

"Suddenly a sound could be heard in the bushes of the forest, Martha's ears twitched having heard it and soon looks to see a Devil of Fire with a dead deer on it's mouth. The murderous creature laid down to enjoy the flesh of it's deceased victim"

Martha: This new and dangerous environment...
