"Triple date!" Taehyung screamed his lungs out.

"Aish honey, stop screaming!" Jungkook shook his head, "I guess some things never change"

Running around the park were the adopted kids from all three couples. The Namjin couple adopted twin boys while yoonmin, they decided to adopt just one girl because well you know, Yoongi isn't really good with kids so one is better than two for him.

"Mummy" Taeguk tugged on Jungkook's shirt, "I want ice cream please"

"Me too me too!" Taekwon joined in. Soon the rest of the kids wanted ice cream too except for the Namjin kids. Since Jin is pretty strict. The other parents can't help but to agree with their request. Wouldn't want them crying.

The Vkook couple was setting up the table for a picnic, they brought orange and apple juice, chips, sandwiches, fried noodles, sushi. The list goes on. Taeguk and Taekwon had fun playing with their uncle chimchim who was spinning them around right now.

"Roy and Ray, come here this instance!" Mommy Jin was shouting at his kids who immediately obeyed him.

"What happened, Ray? Why is your little brother crying? Did you push him again?" Jin asked sternly, his arms crossed.

"He started it!"

"No mommy I didn't, Ray pushed me" the 5 year old innocently replied.

"Ray, is what Roy said true?"

Ray kept quiet, refusing to answer when daddy came along.

"What happened, honey?" Namjoon asked his wife.

"Ray is causing trouble again and won't admit it" Jin still had his arms cross, looking extra furious than before.

Namjoon shook his head and squat down to level his height with the little one. "Ray, say sorry to Roy okay?"

"No!" The kid refused, crossing his little arms. Ray had an attitude just like his mommy. Stubborn yet gentle, get it?

"You apologize and I'll buy you ice cream. Double scoop" Namjoon coaxed him once more.

"Okay!" Flashing his twinkling eyes to his daddy who carried him up like a feather.

"Picnic is ready!" Taehyung signaled them to gather at the bench.

"Amber, come to papa. Time to eat!" Yoongi held hands with his cute little girl and walked to the bench.

They all gathered at the bench, the kids munching on their mini burgers looking happier than ever alongside each other. Taehyung then stand up noting the others that he has something to announce.

"As you all know, Jungkook and I engaged 5 years back" the rest smiled, holding their wine looking glasses in hand.

Taehyung held Jungkook's hand, asking him to stand up close to him. He kissed Jungkook's cheeks before continuing his short speech.

"So today, on the first of September, it doesn't only mark Jungkook's birthday but it's also our 5th anniversary" Taehyung looked at his other half, looking as beautiful as ever. Jimin excused himself together with Taeguk and Taekwon to 'collect' something just across the road.

"Where are they going, dear?" Jungkook was starting to get curious but Taehyung managed to distract him by saying that Jimin is just taking the kids to the washroom.

"As I was saying, today marks our 5th anniversary so-" a cute little singing voice interrupted.

"Happy birthday to mommy. Happy birthday to mommy" it was the little ones! With their uncle chimchim who was holding up cake with two big candles and three small ones. The rest chimed in by singing along. They all knew about this plan way before the picnic. Taehyung really is the king of surprises.

"Happy 23rd birthday to my most beautiful other half. I love you so much, jagiya" Taehyung gently kissed the top of Jungkook's forehead. Jungkook was lost for words, Taehyung never ever fail to shower him with love every anniversary but this one was really over the top.

"Time to cut cake!" Taehyung exclaimed. Jungkook took the knife cutting from the middle of the cream cheese rainbow cake. He smoothly cut it down but was stopped 3/4 before reaching the bottom.

"Dear, I can't cut the cake all the way down. There's something hard beneath it" he pouted.

"Okay let me help. You just need to-" he stopped talking and gently pulled up the cake from the bottom using the mini knife. One by one, Taehyung help to give out the cake till eventually half the cake was left, revealing something glimmering on the centre.

Jungkook gasped, "Dear, is that..."

"Yes it's for you, jagiya" Taehyung took the tiny ring box.

"Jimin and gang, care to do the rest?" They excitedly agreed and started singing harmonically. A song from John legend - All of me.

It was so romantic that the rest of the people at the park stood there, staring them in awe.

Taehyung was now on bended knees, once again, the same thing he did five years ago but that was him making Jungkook, his fiancée. Now he wanted him to officially be his wife. He held out the ring box, locking eyes with his one and only.

"Jeon Jungkook, you have spend half a decade with me. You have made me the happiest man alive ever since then. Thank you for tolerating with me, sticking by me through thick and thin, agreeing with my wants and needs. Adopting kids, settling down after college. It's a life I painted in my mind and you made every single thing come true"

Taehyung still on bended knee, almost teared. He took a deep breath before popping up the biggest question.

"Jeon Jungkook, will you marry me?"

"Never in a million years will I say no. Yes of course, jagiya. I love you so much, Kim Taehyung" tears of joy streamed down his cheeks.

Taehyung pulled out the ring, replacing the old simple ring with this elevated diamond studded ring from Swarovski.

"I love you too so much, Jeon Jungkook. All of me loves all of you" they leaned their foreheads each other before slowly moving forward for the most passionate kiss ever.

Being oblivious to the surroundings, they didn't realize the rest of the people in the park was observing. They started clapping and some even approached, congratulating the couple.

"Thank you for everything, Taehyung. I have something for you too. Turn around" their little ones held a folded leave, giving it to their lovely appa.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked, unsure of what's inside.

"Open it" Jungkook smiled.

Taehyung did as told and gasped at what fell off to his hands.

"It's time to replace your simple ring too" Jungkook took the emerald ring to replace it with the old one.

"Happy 5th anniversary, honey" he whispered sexily into Taehyung's ear which sent shivers down his spine.

All of them then drove to the beach before sundown, side by side, they sat beside each other with their little ones to watch the sunset.

It was beautiful. The atmosphere was peaceful. Great scenery, lovely company. What more could you ask for?

"Mommy, daddy" the little ones chorused, lying down on each of their lap.

"Ne, my babies?"

"We love you"

"We love you too"

The couple lean their heads together, embracing this tender moment between them and the kids. There's no other better three letter words to hear from anyone than 'I love you'

From this point forward, all they hope for is always and forever to be next to each other.
