There is a another method,

requiring a great deal less agitation

based on quiet, empirical observation.

The evening before, gently snore-open gate,

that closest to flock's routine camp.

Stroll the course -

that which sheep - being irrepressibly inquisitive

will undoubtedly take.

Open - shut - open - fasten gates -

maze the purest primrose way

and when one goes to find breakfast egg - next day -

low and behold, dere dey is,

the most cooperative of wee beasties ;)
