3rd Person P.O.V.

"Alright everyone. Try not to be too loud and make sure you guys are accountable for one another. First rest stop is in an hour. got it?" Jeff C. confirmed. A chorus of 'yes dad's, 'yes sir's, and 'yes Jeff sr.'s followed closely afterwards.

"Sooooo, are you guys ready for Connecticut?" Evalina asked Ben and Josh. Sky, not being the morning person he is, was sleeping with his headphones on. It was very early in the morning so it made sense, he drank some coffee then fell right back asleep.

"I'm excited. We'll probably go sight seeing." Ben said. "We'll probably plan on going sight seeing for every place." Josh replied. " I didn't ask for the sarcasm. " Ben replied. "Ben can we switch seats? I wanna sit by the window and I figured it's best to switch before we get on the interstate." Evalina asked. "Yeah it's fine." Evalina hopped out of the aisle seat and well into the aisle and Ben did the same. So then they switched seats.

"You look tired." Ben noted after she had adjusted to the window seat. "That's what every girl wants to hear." Evalina said while giggling softly. "Aside from my sarcastic remarks I didn't sleep last night. I'm too tired to lie." She replied yawning slightly.

"Why didn't you sleep?" Ben asked concerned. "I guess I might as well tell you. I have sleeping issues. I've had them ever since I was fourteen. Hence why some days I look dead." Evalina replied laughing slightly at her own observation on her appearance.

"Nah, you always look like a model." Ben replied, partially joking but fully meaning it. "Sure I do, loverboy." She joked. "You should get some sleep though." Ben said. "I'll try." She replied grabbing her pillow leaning against the chair. As she began closing her eyes and drifting into sleep Ben moved the armrest up. He said the Evalina with her pillow into his lap.

Evalina curled up in her seat and didn't argue falling asleep. Ben ran his fingers through her hair as she slept to him this felt so right. It felt like something that was second nature to him, normal even.

Josh smirked at him or them and took a picture. Ben looked at him his hand entangled in Evalina's hair. "What are you doing?" Ben asked furrowing his eyebrows. "Well someone has to document your blossoming relationship." Josh declared. "You'll thank me at your wedding."

Ben blushed. Ben and Josh continued talking throughout the ride until it came to them stopping at the rest stop. Evalina, as Ben soon learned, was a light sleeper. She woke up and say up. "Sorry for falling asleep on you Ben." She apologized while yawning. "It's fine, no need to apologize." He said.

As they all hopped out of their seats. Josh woke Sky up and so he, Josh, and Ben went to get something to drink. Evalina went with Zachary because they were both looking for the tropical cafe (???) "So, Zachary. When's Carly gonna come visit?"

Evalina's P.O.V.

"I'm not sure." He replied. We passed for a moment so he could unfog his glasses. After about fifteen minutes we finally found it. As we were in line to order our drinks I thought for a moment. "How long did Jeff sr. say we had?" " I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure it was thirty minutes. " Zach responded.

After we got our drinks we began walking to the place where the bus was. When we saw it was no where to be found I sighed. "They forgot us." I sighed. "W-what?" Zach asked panicked. "Don't worry, Zachary. I mean some of them have our number plus my uncle will have to notice." We sat there for five minutes talking.

"Since we're gonna be here for a while wanna make a bet?" Zach asked. "Why not?" I asked jokingly. " I bet you that panda that they won't actually call us for another five minutes." He said. "I bet you that sloth next to it if they don't realize for another ten minutes." I said. " Deal. "

"So as we wait, tell me about yourself or your girlfriend." I asked as we waited. "Well my favorite musical is Sunday in the Park with George." We continued talking up until the ten minutes when both of our phones began buzzing. I looked at him and saw ten minutes passed. I smirked 'I win' I mouthed. "You left us and it took you ten minutes to realize it." I said while laughing. "Oh, thank god you're okay." I heard Ben's voice ring through. "Ya know I figured it was Josh calling." I said while laughing. "Why'd you think it was Josh?""Because he would spam me a lot so I figured he had my number on speed dial somehow. " I replied. 

"Yeah everyone was trying to figure out why you guys weren't responding on the bus when we realized it then everyone was trying to figure out who had your numbers." Ben replied. "Welp, I guess we'll be here for a while." I replied. "Yup, well I better go because my phone is dying." "You can charge it with my laptop, just don't go through my things on there." I said remembering I was still logged into E on Broadway for youtube. "Aww, you trust me on your laptop. This is relationship building." He replied jokingly. "Yeah, yeah. I'll see you in a little hopefully." I said then hung up. 

"Josh called. Looks like you won the bet. I'm guessing it will take them twenty minutes to get back so let's go buy that sloth." Zach said.

~~~45 minutes later~~~

"You didn't have to buy me the panda." Zach said. "Yeah, but then I would've felt bad." I replied as we began walking towards the bus. "Can't believe it took them and hour to get back." He said while laughing. "Yeah, I'm still surprised too." I chuckled. We both got on the bus. "Yay our photographer and Crutchie!" and variations of such were shouted throughout the bus. I walked over to my seat with Ben. Instead of him moving I just shuffled past his legs. "What's with the sloth?" He asked chuckling. "Meet Crutchie. I feel so tired. What took you guys so long?" I asked. "We missed an exit so it took extra time." He replied. 

"Look what Dan posted on his twitter." 

"Wow." I replied laughing. I grabbed my pillow and laid it against the chair shutting my eyes. I felt Ben shift next to me carefully moving me along with the pillow into his lap. I smiled. I don't know what this boy was doing to me.  He honestly melts my heart. But I mean we're just best friends right? I mean it's normal to feel like this with your best friend right? I don't like him.... do I? 

I was pulled away from my thoughts when I felt Ben's had run across my cheek. Sparks of electricity shot through me but not unpleasant in the slightest, no in fact they made me feel warm and safe. I felt Ben beginning to run his fingers through my hair which I surprisingly didn't mind at all. What do I feel with Ben? Well he makes me feel whole. He makes me feel like whatever was missing is now found. He's important to me and I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. 

Is this what they call.... love? I thought as I drifted into slumber that I had been missing for days.

I want to thank all of you for the kind messages, good news I think Evalina is finally starting to realize her feelings for Ben, bad news I'm still sick but thank you all for the encouraging and kind messages and just thank you for continuing to read this story. When I had originally started writing this I thought the idea was absurd but my friend, a fellow fansie/spectator, told me that it was good and people would be willing to read it, so thank you for making my dream come true.
