3rd Person's P.O.V.

The show went by smoothly. Ben was slightly distracted by the fact that Evalina was going crazy backstage. She kept pacing back and forth and would occasionally look to see who was out in the audience. Ben and the others knew she was looking for her friend but they had never seen her this... restless. 

When the show ended, everyone returned to their dressing rooms. Evalina continued pacing back in forth down the halls up and down stairs. Heck, anyone around her was getting nervous by watching her pace. At some point DeMarius pulled her into the makes dressing room. "You okay?" He asked since he was ready and a majority of the others were as well getting ready to go stagedoor .

"Yeah, fine. Fine, perfectly fine." Evalina said quickly. "That answer tells me your anything but fine. What's up?" He pressed. "Hehe... Well you see my best friend from back home, well my only friend really is coming with her boyfriend and she wants me to go eat dinner with them but the ring is is that her boyfriend doesn't really like me and I hate third wheeling." Evalina said in one breath. The other boys heard her predicament.

Josh smiled and looked at Sky. They smiled at each other then strolled over to Evalina. Ben saw the smirks on their faces. "Oh no..." He mumbled to himself. "We would go help of we could." Josh started. "But we can't. But you know who isn't busy tonight Ben. And I'm sure he'd love to help you out." Sky continued. Evalina thought about it. " I'm sure Ana won't mind. " She mumbled to herself.

"Are you sure? I mean I don't want Ben to feel obligated to help me put. Plus it's gonna be really boring and I don't want him to be bored. Plus he could be busy and I don't want to put him behind on anything especially school work and -" " It's fine, E. If love to go. That's what... friends are for. " Ben said slightly wincing when he said friends knowing deep down he wished for something more.

Evalina didn't know why but she felt a slight pang at her heart when he said friend. Very tiny but still noticeable. She shrugged it off, probably just cheat pains or something, right? More like or something...

"Are you sure Ben? I don't want to burden you when you could be having fun." Evalina said tugging at the ends of her jacket. " Yeah, it's fine. I didn't really have any plans anyways. " Ben said rubbing the back of his neck. "Thanks Ben. I'll find a way to repay you somehow." She said mumbling the last part to herself.

As they all went out to the stagedoor Evalina stuck by Ben. He was wearing a red and white with accents of blue button up and some jeans. Evalina took some pictures for the fansies of them hugging Ben and such. Eventually when they got to the middle they saw Ana and Daniel. "Oh my gosh! Evalina! I missed you so much." She shrieked pulling her into a hug not caring that Evalina didn't like physical contact. She hangs seen her best friend in a while and felt she had the right to embrace her.

Evalina slightly winced. "I missed you too. But. You're. Suffocating. Me." "Oh! He...he... Sorry." Ana said releasing Evalina from her vice grip. "Hey, Daniel." Evalina said waving awkwardly. "Hey, Evalina. I heard you've been well." He responded. Evalina stood there awkwardly when Ben had caught up to them after talking to a fansie.

"Oh yeah. Uhh, guys this is Ben. Ben this is Ana and that's her boyfriend Daniel." Evalina said. " Ana is it alright that I invited Ben to join us, I-" "Ohmygoodness Ben Freaking Cook!" She exclaimed. Evalina sighed, mentally face palming. "Of course it's fine!" Ana said allowing Evalina to exhale the breath she didn't know she had been holding with relief. Ben talked with Ana for a minute signing her Playbill then he and Evalina continued making their way down the line. After they finished they Ana and Daniel met them at the end of the line. 

"So, uh..... where are we going?" Evalina asked. "We're going to this restaurant down the street. We already made reservations and it's supposed to be super nice." Ana said. Daniel nodded. Evalina sighed as the two of them began walking ahead of them. Ben walked right by her side. "So Ben, are you ready for travel day?" Evalina asked attempting to strike up a conversation. "Yeah. I love travelling. What about you?" "I'm excited, just not sure who I'm going to sit by." Evalina said as she continued walking. 

That's when it happened in the blink of an eye a car came speeding right through the cross walk even though it was pedestrians chance to walk. Before Evalina could react Ben's hand flew to grab her own. He pulled her to him panic rushing through his mind. He caught her and pulled her into his chest hugging her tightly thinking of what he almost lost in a matter of seconds because of a careless driver. 

Evalina's P.O.V.

"I'm excited, just not sure who I'm going to sit by." I said. I began walking slightly faster to get to the crosswalk on time. That's when time itself slowed down. Just as I was about to pass I heard the sound of wheels screeching against the pavement. Is this where I'm going to die? I felt something latch itself to my wrist. With immense force I was pulled back. I felt nothing but shock. Everything around me was going slowly. I watched as the car passed by. I felt someone pull, no, embrace, me into a hug. 

I felt tears pull at the corners of my eyes. I almost died. Did I even make a sound? I openly embraced the person as well. I just needed to calm down. I didn't let myself cry, no. I just hugged the person tighter. 

Ben's P.O.V.

"I'm excited, just not sure who I'm going to sit bye." Evalina said as we continued walking. She got a few steps ahead of me trying to get to the crosswalk wince it was starting to flash seconds at us. I looked up ahead to see her friend and her boyfriend had already made it to the other side and were waiting for us. I looked to see Evalina about to cross the street when I noticed the sound of screeching wheels. A car was just about to hit her as she put her foot out. 

The only thought buzzing through my head was that I anted her to be safe, that's all I cared about. My hand latched onto her wrist and I pulled her smaller figure into mine. I  wrapped my arms around her and embraced her in a hug watching as the car flashed by. The wind blowing Evalina's dark brown hair in the direction it went. I felt her hug me tight. That's when I realized it. Life is short. It can end at any moment. The amount of time I have with Evalina... I don't know how long it will last but I do know, that as much of it we have together I want her to be mine. Our time may be limited but... I need her to always be in my life. 

With her it felt like a void had been filled, it may not sound like it makes sense but... it's like... she fills the emptiness I feel when I miss Emma and my parents back up with love and happiness. 

3rd Person P.O.V.

It was in those few fleeting moments both Ben and Evalina realized something. Ben realized that he had to take more chances and that he didn't know what would happen in the next second, minute, hour, day, week, or years but he'd live it the best he could and part of that was making sure that Evalina was apart of his life. 

Evalina realized that she felt security, safety, and quite possibly love without realizing it with Ben. Something about him made her feel differently, something she had never felt before. Like someone had actually cared for her. She realized that in those fleeting moments that she could've died and that she would have never gotten to experience things that normal people would. 

From that moment the two vowed to try to stay with the other throughout their lives. To live dangerously. Because what they didn't know was that they couldn't live without each other. Whether Evalina had realized it or not her feelings for Ben had become more than platonic and Ben realized that his crush was no longer something that would just go away or small but something big. 

The sound of horns honking and cars passing by filled the two's ears. When the crosswalk allowed them to pass again they simply stood there, embracing each other. Ana ran across the street along with Daniel having witnessed what happened. "Oh my goodness! Evalina, are you okay? Honey, speak to me." She asked looking at Ben's widened eyes. He was still in shock and so was Evalina. 

Evalina eventually let go of Ben and he did the same. "I'm.... fine. Thanks to Ben." She said. "Do you still want to go eat dinner. We can cancel our reservations and go back to the hotel instead." Ana said. "Yeah, you gave us quite the scare there." Daniel said agreeing. Running his hands through his dirty blonde hair. "No, no. It's alright, I'm alright. Let's just forget about it and keep going." Evalina said. "Are you sure?" Ana asked pulling her into a hug and this time Evalina didn't mind. "Yeah I'm sure." She replied. 

They began making their way to the crosswalk once again. Ana and Daniel went first. Then without a second thought Evalina grabbed Ben's hand. He looked at her but she just kept her eyes on the crosswalk. Together they walked across hand in hand. Evalina didn't let his hand go and they went to the restaurant. 

All four of them ate their dinner and made small talk with each other. Evalina and Ben learned more about each other. Evalina learned that Daniel wasn't really a bad person at all. Ana and Daniel shipped Evalina and Ben throughout the night recognizing the look in both of their eyes as love. All for of them parted ways as they went to their hotel rooms. Ben and Evalina walked hand in hand to the hotel. 

Evalina stopped Ben right before they got to their rooms. "Thank you." She whispered then, much to Ben's surprise, pulled him into a hug. He hugged back. After standing there for a minute the two parted and went their separate ways. 

Ben entered his shared hotel room. "So.... what happened?" Josh asked as soon as Ben opened the door. "I'll tell you tomorrow." Ben said flopping onto his bed. Josh continued to bug him but soon Ben fell asleep as fast as you could yell Brooklyn's here. 

Evalina entered her room and immediately went to bed after changing into some pajamas. Stephanie didn't question her coming late because she remembered she was going out with her friend.
