So I decided this could be a way to write poems and also get all of you to read them , I'll try and get some news from my stories but this is pretty much a good way to keep you all full while I make dinner !

"Next up on the stand Katherine Plumber !" The mc said . "Wish me luck !" She said to her group of friends .

"Hello , I'm Katherine, this is an original poem called : Metaphors" then everybody in the cafe clapped .

"When I was younger I looked at television and magazines and saw makeup . All my favorite celebrities had them .

As I grew I knew makeup was a "big girl " thing . So I begged and pleaded for the opportunity to wear makeup .

On my 10th birthday my aunt Sally got me a pack of lipgloss .

My mother said "Sally , don't you know that's a gateway ?" In which my aunt sally replied with "what do you mean ?"

My mother meant lipgloss was a gateway drug to spending my life paying for makeup .

Before I came her I walked past at least 12 make up billboard , 10 commercials and 26 ads on the Internet .

When I found out that my makeup was not as attractive as I thought , the first thing I did was slap my boyfriends arm .

I look back at my old lipgloss phones and such and wish I listened to my mother .

Lipgloss was a gateway drug , like weed . And over time I become more and more addicted . I spend money on the better things . Like foundation, pallets and cocaine .

We need to teach our young people that drugs and makeup are the same .

They make you feel good for a while but in the end , you can't be happy without them .

And happiness is like oxygen, it all around us , but it's up to you to breath it in .

Which ended with claps and whistles from the crowds and her friends .
