Katherine said slamming the door and walking out of his apartment. Jack was still heated up from the argument they had . It stated out with "why do you spend so much time with the boys ?" "Well you spend a lot of time with Darcy !" And ended with a "you lie ! You cheat ! I am under some dark evil spell ! You don't event love me !" "I don't Katherine!" Now Jack was upset . Sure Katherine and Jack have fought over things but it would end with her hitting his chest and him mushing their faces together and then they'd wake up naked . But this was different. "I hate you Jack Kelly!" Ringed in his ears as he stomped around his apartment. He had thrown the jackets off he hooks and he had broken the television remote. He stomped to his room and tore every single picture of them in half , splitting the two of them apart . Jack had pulled all the blinds and screamed at the top of his lungs , "WHY ?!?!?!?" He yelled . He curled up in a small tender broken ball and cried himself to sleep .

Katherine went down the elevator of jacks apartment building. They had shared an handful of moments in there . Kissing and laughing . Now Katherine walked down to find Oscar Delancey watching the people pic pocket one another do as they did , making sure no one was , that was his job since he is a cop , "what are you doing tonight ?" Katherine asked , "nothing why ?" "Wanna do out ?" "what about you and Kelly ?" "Thing of the past so ?" "Sure " "pick me up at 8:00"

Jack sat down and he began to tear out the drawings in his sketch pads , the beautiful pencil sketches were all over the chocolate colored carpet . The chocolate colored carpet that looked like Katherine's hair .

Katherine got ready for her date with Oscar and waited for him to come and pick her up . "You look amazing " he said . "You look pretty amazing yourself " she said . The walked to a small little restaurant and ate a nice "romantic " dinner . When the finished he walked her home . "I had a really great time thanks for tonight " Katherine said fumbling with the keys to building . "No problem it was big fun . So do you wanna go out again sometime ?" "I'd love that " "I'll call you since my schedule changes every couple of days , being the rookie me as you get the bad hours " he said smiling , "well we will just have to work around that even if it's coffee at 2 in the morning " she said laughing , Oscar smiled in her response. "Well I better be going , I'll see you later Katherine " "bye " then he leaned in for a kiss . Katherine had a quick reaction and just kissed him . He smiled in the kiss and she just copied him . "Goodnight Katherine " "goodnight Oscar " she said unlocking the door to her apartment building. She climbed up the stairs and went inside her house . She threw off her coat and took off her heels . "Hi marble " she said picking up the small cat that lived with her . "Did mommy get any messages ?" She said walking over , with marble in hand , to the answering machine. "1 . Katherine dear , your mother and I would like you to come over for dinner soon . You sister had news , I believe she might be expecting ! Love Father " "2. Hey Katherine, it's me Clara . I can't make it to Mani pedis tomorrow. Davey is beyond sick and being a wife means I'm also his mother ! We will rescheduled! Bye " Katherine then took and shower and went to sleep .

~ 3 months later ~

"Jack come on open up the door " Davey said pounding on the large door of his apartment. Jack just out the tv up louder . "Jack !" Then Davey went under the doormat to find the spare key. "He took it !" He said "come on Jack we need to talk " "go away " a hoarse voice said . Davey just sighed and walked away . Jack had now had stubble all over his face . He was wearing only a white beater and boxers and sweat pants. Jack had decided to start smoking again . He went out to his balcony to take a smoke . He looked down at the busy streets . "Kathy I have to go to work !" He turned his head down . Oscar was wearing his uniform but his hat was in Katherine's hands . "Come on !" "Babe , I told you I'll call you when I'm off " he said laughing . "But -" "I promise , please Kathy I've gotta go !" "One kiss ?" "One kiss !" Then Katherine wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him sweetly . Her foot popping up . His hands where at her waist . "Alright I gotta go " "alright love you " "love you too " he said kissing her cheek , waving then walking to work . Katherine smiled at herself and walked the rest of the way to her office building.
"Love you " jacks heart that was already hurt broke in two . "Love you ?" He whispered throwing the cigarette down to the streets .

Dear Davey ,
Thank you for trying to help me through all this . But without Katherine I can't go on. She has found someone else and just have to accept this . I really hope you take good care of your wife and son . Watch over the guys and give them all the stories they ask for . Keep at law school . I know you'll make a great lawyer someday . He folded the envelope and put on jeans and a shirt . He walked the four blocks to Daveys apartment, he slipped the note under the door and walked home . Gathering all the ties he owned .

Katherine was typing at her laptop . "Well ?" "I have to cancel tonight " "Oscar again ?" "Okay I'm saying it ! I can't do this anymore . My high school girlfriend wants to get back together and so do I !" He said hanging up the phone . Then someone barged into the door . "Katherine!" "Davey what the hell ?" "Jack ! He's gonna kill himself !" "What ?" "See !"
Then Davey handed her the note .

"Crap we gotta go !" She said : the ran all the way to his apartment. "He took away the spare key !" "I have one !" Katherine said fumbling around with the keys . "He's has a small pulse ! Call 911"

The hospital was cold and it was raining outside . "Jack Kelly ?" Then Davey and Katherine stood up . "He's awake " "alright " "Katherine? I'm gonna go tell the guys , I'll come back later you gonna be okay !" "Yeah I'll be fine , go tell them . Check on that baby of yours " she said as he walked away . She walked into Jack's room . He was laying peacefully on the bed . Katherine sat down and closed the door . "You know your an idiot ? You tried to kill yourself ! Why would you do such a thing !" She yelled sitting in the chair . "I thought I lost you !" She then cried into her palms . "Katherine?" Jack whispered . "Your awake ?" "Yeah , I'm sorry " "you better be you idiot !" She said . Jack then kissed her hand . "Please forgive me for all those stupid things I've done " he said . "I forgive you " she said kissing his forehead.
