HEY SO I HAVE A NEW BOOK CALLED I AM NOT A COW ! READ IT PLEASE !!!!

In a world full of technology there still laid many traditions of the old world .

Like clothing , and food and jobs . Many people didn't know the difference between old and new when it came to these things .

Women still wore long skirts and dresses but now with patterns and designs ... But the also wore heels unlike the boots from long ago.

Men wore suits on most days but jeans when with family . And their didn't have long hair .

In this world it's up to the parents to whom their child marries.

Katherine was the youngest of her family's children . She had 4 brothers and sisters . The eldest was William , named after their father's dear friend who had children of his own and had been married twice ,then there was Lillian the who was married and had children . Next was Franklin her older brother who was married as well. Then there was Katherine, single as could be .

Katherine was best friends with
Clara who was also her cousin . Clara was to be married to David Jacobs in a handful of days .

Katherine's siblings were all over 25 while she was barley 15. Her mother was much younger than her father which meant Katherine was born when her mother Hannah was 31.

Her father was 37, when Katherine was born , now he was 52 and Hannah was 46.

"Mamma ?" Katherine called down as she walked down the stairs in her dress for Clara's wedding . "What do you think ?" She asked twirling at the steps .

"It's beautiful " her mother said smiled .

"Can I assume you'll be walking with a man down the aisle ?" Her father asked .

"No , I'm her maid of honor , I'll be carrying her train for her ... All alone" Katherine said .

"Good , it means that men and their families can look at you and see if they wanna make an offer " His father said .

"Papa , I'm not a cow ... You can't sell me !" Katherine said .

"Watch your tongue... I'm off to wolf .. Goodbye dear , goodbye miss not a cow" He said and walked out the door .

"I'm gonna go change" Katherine said and she walked back up the stairs and went to her room.  She picked up her stuffed cow her father had gotten her many years ago . "I'm not a cow !" She shouted and threw the cow on the floor .
