Davey smiled .

Jack had never been so happy .

Like the day they won the strike was big but winning Katherine was bigger .

Or the day Les sold his first paper for 5 dollars was but Katherine asking him to move in was bigger .

Now today Davey gets to see his best friend marry the girl who was meant for his best friend.

Dear Katherine,

Thank you for helping us through the winters and summers . Giving food and medicine to us .

Today I'm giving you my best friend. And in exchange for one best friend I'm getting two .

We're all very happy that you guys ended up together but all I'm saying is take care of the hot head . He's crazy , stubborn , and very very very much in love with you .

I can't thank you enough for welcoming not just him but all of us newsies into your family .
