"Alright , Jack , the girls and I have been working really hard on this ! And I know the last time we did this choreography you shot us down but we've been working so hard ! We really like this version and we think it will make the musical better !" Clara said in all yellow and her hair slightly curled and teased .

"I don't know -" Jack said sitting at his chair , clipboard in hand .

"Jack ! Please ! Come on ! I know you'll think it's really good ! Heather the musical won't be the same without this song !! " Clara pleaded .

"Clara -"

"Come on ! Your the director you can have the final say but at least see it !" Clara asked .

"Fine .... Playback !" Jack called out . Jack did not want to see this . More like he didn't want to see Katherine.

They had got in a huge fight Sophomore year of college and broke up . Jack had gone two years with her . Directing her and she would yell at him . Jack and Katherine kept their feelings very open and yelled at each other during rehearsals .

Like sophomore year whine they broke up they constantly fought ; Katherine had been singing Legally Blonde all wrong ! Her key was not what Jack thought and her wig was horrible , he yelled and had her changed to being Vivianne .

Then Junior year ; Katherine came to rehearsal twenty minutes late , she thought it was no big deal because her scene was even going on that day , but Jack was annoyed and switched her from Maria to Mother Abbess.

And this year ; Katherine was going to be Veronica , she had her heart set on it . When they were dating all she could talk about was behind Veronica , enter Jack who said 'no' and made her Heather Chandler ,

Then three girls ; Clara in yellow , Sara in green and Katherine in
red stepped on stage .

They all had short skirts with their color and plaid , blazer that showed off their chests , and their hair and makeup done perfectly .

Then Lena the girl playing Veronica stepped on stage and said her line .

The two guys playing Ram and Kurt were standing near and the guy playing JD. Was sitting down 'reading ' a book .

"God Veronica ! " Katherine said annoyed .

"Are we gonna have a problem?

"Guys fall" Katherine and Clara sang now all three girls standing on the raised platform.

"Woah!" The girls began to sing again. Jack looked at his phone . Katherine was going to make him pay .

"Honey, whachu waiting fo—" then Katherine pushed her down

"SHUT UP HEATHER !" Katherine yelled .

"Woah , " then Katherine belted out this high note and Jack looked up .

"Step into my candy store! Time for you to prove" the other heathers sang

"Oooh woah! Woah oh oh! " Katherine belted out moving her hips and definitely grabbing Jack's attention.

"You're not a lame ass anymore Then step into my candy store" the girls finished

Everyone clapped .

"So ??" Clara asked , the girls getting help down by a stage hand .

"I'll keep it !" Jack sighed .

The girls began to scream .

"I need to talk to you each , tell you what you need to improve .... Davey ?" Jack asked .

Davey came to his side .

"I'm going to talk to them each one at a time . You can finish the run through .... Assistant director" Jack smiled . Davey nodded and took his place .

Jack called in Clara first and told her his notes she smiled and thanked him .

The. Sara who almost cried because be said she wasn't acting bitchy enough but she understood .

Katherine walked into jacks office .

"Kelly " Katherine gritted through her teeth .
"Pulitzer " Jack said sitting at his desk .

"It's plumber"

"Not legally " Jack smirked .

"What do I need to fix ? My whole existence?" She joked .

"That would help but no , your arms need to be higher , kick needs to be straighter and you aren't moving your hips to the music . " Jack said reading his notes .

"I move my hips to the music !" She yelled back .

Jack signed and stood up . He played the music on his laptop and put his hands on her hips .

"Your doing this " he said moving her hips off beat Z

"it needs to be this " he added moving her hips on beat.

He then sat down .

She looked down at her hips . She missed him holding her and being sweet with her . She missed  him pressing her hips against his and then moving together as they danced . She missed a lot of things . After all she was the one who said "I wanna break up "and she thought right now she was an idiot all those years .

"Katherine? You can go now " Jack said typing at his laptop .

Suddenly an idea popped in her head . "Like this ?" She asked moving her hips off beat on purpose.

"No ," he sighed and moved them on beat .

"Wait , let me see like this ?" She then tried again and made it too big .

"Your not a fish Katherine " he said and moved her hips again .

She tired again . "how about that ?" She asked .

"Better , no perfect . You could still use some help " Jack said .

"And my arms ,, how high should they be ?" She asked .

"Here " he said moving them a small bit higher thanks her head .

"And my leg ? When I do the splits" Katherine used his desk for support and put her leg straight in the air .

"Higher " Jack said and she did so .

"Okay ... When your leg comes down move your hips " Jack said a pencil now behind his ear .

She did so horribly on purpose. "Katherine " Jack said and put her leg back in the air and moved it down and moved her hips .

His hands were tight around them. Katherine placed her hands on his and looked up at him. Even in her heels she couldn't get reach his eyes completely.

She looked in his eyes , while he looked in hers . His blue pupils fell in love with hers .

"Since when have you been able to sing that note ?" Jack asked his hands still on her hips .

"Ive been on vocal rest for w week for that ."Katherine smiled at him .

"And when did you learn to do the splits ?" He asked her .

"I took gymnastics over the summer so I could " she answered back her hands now around his waist .

"You took my suggestion " Jack smiled.

"You always had good suggestions as a director.... I mean , there's no way I could have been Veronica .... You where right . And there was no way I could have been Maria or Elle " Katherine said .

"No , I think you could have .... At least you could have been Elle " Jack smiled at her .

"No , I tried to sing it the other day and I think I broke my dogs ear drums " Katherine joked .

"You could never do that , you've always had a beautiful voice " Jack said to bed .

"Thanks " Katherine smiled and blushed .

Katherine stood on her toes and kissed his cheek . "Why did we break up ?" Jack asked .

"We got in a stupid fight about me being late for rehearsal even though I wasn't in that scene ... I didn't call when I was suppose to " Katherine sighed .

"I was so stupid to make you change roles, I should have gone after you .... I should have gotten you back.... I should g have been so stupid "Jack said to her .

"We were both stupid " Katherine said . Jack then leaned to her and kissed her on the lips .

Katherine kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck .

"We should probably get back to rehearsal " Jack said .

Katherine nodded and let go of him .

"You know Jack I think you have a nice voice " Katherine smiled at him .

"Thanks "

"Do you wanna recreated Dead Girl Walking tonight ?" Katherine smiled at him .

"Why tonight why not after rehearsal" Jack suggested. Katherine nodded and kissed him harder and harder .

She jumped on his waist, and kissed him . "Katherine, I wanna be with you " Jack said breathlessly holding on to her and sitting on the desk for support .

"I do too, it's been hell without you for two years " Katherine said into his shoulder crying .

Jack lifted up her chin . "Don't cry anymore .... No need to .... I'm right here .... I'll never let you go again " Jack said to her .

"You will have to right now because I'm on " Katherine smiled at him . Jack kissed her one last time and they walked out .
