73 - Spot
She saunted around the city of Brooklyn in a good mood for some unknown reason. She hasn't had free time in a while, so she thought she should spend it with her boyfriend, Spot.
Her and Spot have been dating for about three months, and she couldn't be happier with her relationship. He's wild, free, and some say he's a 'bad boy' which makes her even more crazy. He's different than what she knows from her own family. Her family might not be rich, but they are strict. They want her to grow up and marry a successful man, so her children could grow up better than her and her parents. That plan was ruined due to her love for a street kid. Her parents didn't like it at first- they purposely did things to keep them apart, but after some time, they stopped. They still weren't his biggest fans, but she was okay with that.
She slowed her pace as she reached the docks, but completely froze upon seeing Spot with another girl. His arm was draped over her shoulder as she giggled at something he said. He kissed the girl's lips before looking up and seeing her. Tears blurred her vision as his face fell. She turned around and began to walk away.
"(Y/N)," he called. He got down and made his way over to her with the other girl following behind him. She knew better than to turn around. She knew she should keep walking and forget about Spot. Easier said than done.
"Who is she?" she spat turning around as he reached her.
"She's-"
"His girlfriend. And you are?" she asked with her grating and fake voice.
"His ex-girlfriend," she answered sending Spot daggers before turning around and walking away. He turned to look at his 'girlfriend'.
"Go wait over dere," he commanded and she did as she was told. "(Y/N)," he yelled again trying to get her attention. He caught up to her and grabbed her wrist, turning her around.
"Let go of me," she told him with anger evident in her voice. She tugged her wrist away from his loosened grasp.
"(Y/N). Ya gotta listen ta me-"
"How long?" she cut him off. "How long have you've been sneaking behind my back?"
He was silent before he gave her the truth, "A month."
"A month?"
"(Y/N), I'm sorry-"
"No, you're not sorry. Have fun with that- have a nice life," she continued walking with her head held up high. She wiped away any of her stray tears knowing he's not worth it.
She got back to her apartment before she broke down. Three months. Three months of her time and energy thrown away. All she could think of is how her parents were right. Everyone who has ever talked about Spot as a womanizing jerk were right.
She heard rocks at her window, making her stand up and wipe away any evidence of her tears. She walked over to her window, opening it. She looked out and closed it upon seeing Spot. He threw more and more rocks irritating her.
"What?" she asked with frustration and anger radiating off of her body.
"Can we talk, please." She exhaled in frustration before climbing out of her window and walking down to Spot. She looked at him with pure hatred letting him know to start speaking. "Listen, I can't tell ya why I started and why I kept goin' wit 'er. But she's outta me life. I'se broke up wit 'er 'cause it's you dat I want. I need'ya," he stops looking at her with hope in his eyes that she might take him back.
"It's too late, Spot. I can't get my heartbroken again-"
"Ya not gonna get it broken again," he cut her off.
"How do I know that? You can't even tell me why you started dating her! How do I know you won't start absentmindedly dating another girl?"
He was silent knowing he can't answer any of her questions. "I'm sorry-"
"It's too late to apologize, Spot."
