(3rd Person)

He looks into her bright eyes. He pulled her closer so their noses were touching as he looked down at her lips and then back at her eyes. The proximity was driving her insane. She couldn't take it anymore, as she crashed her lips into his. He immediately kissed back, but she pulled away as reality hit her.

"What about Sarah?" she asked talking about his girlfriend as she backed away. "I can't do that to her. We are best friends," she went on making Jack sigh.

"I know. I can't make ya choose between us."

"This can't happen again. We can't happen," she clarifies.

"But, I like you!" he says emphasizing the 'you'. "It's been you dis whole time!" he says trying to change her mind.

"I like you, too, but I can't," she finishes walking out of the alley. He sighs in frustration and kicks the wall before walking out as well.

He sat with his friends at the lodging house trying to stay engaged in their conversation, but he couldn't stop his mind from wandering to her. He needed her in his life and he knew that. Seeing her walk away made him realize that he didn't need Sarah. But what was he supposed to do? Sarah is his best friend's sister. He couldn't break her heart. What would Davey do?

At that point, replaying how she walked away in his head over and over, he was willing to risk it.

She sat at Medda's with one of her close friends, Abby (A-N- I had to), next to her. They were at a newsie party, but they haven't seen Jack or Sarah anywhere. She looked around the room catching the eye of a newsie from Queens. They exchanged glances before he turned back to his friends. She turned back to Abby with a slight grin on her face.

"Go talk to him," Abby nudges her towards the attractive Queens' newsie. She mumbles a nervous 'okay' before making her way towards him. She turns around to find Abby already laughing with another newsie, Skittery. She turns back around as he turns to her.

"Hi," she starts. "I'm (Y/N)," she holds out her hand for him to take.

"Sam, shoit fa Samuel," he clarifies shaking her hand with a small smile spread across his face. "So what brings ya ta a newsie party?" he asks starting a conversation. The immediatey hit it off. He made her laugh and made her nervous, but the nerviousness went away as they chatted. Jack who?

"I'm sorry, Sarah, it's just not woikin' out," he says. She looks down at her hands. "Ya beautiful and smart. It'll take ya no time ta faget 'bout me," he says making her smile.

"Well, I can't say that I'm happy, but I'll get over it. I'll see you later?"

"Yeah, see ya later," he finishes as she walks away. He makes his way to Medda's hoping to find her there. He walks in and looks around the room. Turning towards the other newsies from other areas. He finds her. He walks closer, but realizes she's with someone else. He stopped walking and watched hoping she'll see him, but she doesn't. She closes her eyes and kisses him bringing her arms around his neck and his holding onto her waist.

Jack quickly looked away, anger and frustration coursing through him. He runs out slamming the door behind him. They boke apart upon hearing the door slam, but after seeing nothing, they turned back towards each other.

A-N- So, how was everyone's day? I was just wondering if you could comment your favorite newsie because I was thinking of doing some Specs or Bumlets ones but I don't know if anyone likes the. I did Jake in the past, but that one was for my sister (she dared me, because no one really knows who he is and I think he isn't very good-looking).
