"How ah ya feelin'?" Race asks Tora knowing any moment now she could have the baby.

"I'm okay. My back is a little sore, but I'm fine," she reassures the worried soon-to-be father.

"I bettah get goin', but I'll see ya tomorrow," he says giving her a small kiss on the forehead before leaving

"We should head back," Spot suggests as she nods. They make small talk on their way to the lodging house, and soon make it to their destination before she stops, clutching her swollen stomach.

"Tora, are ya okay?" Spot begins to worries.

"The baby's coming," she informs him as he begins to panic, not knowing what to do. "Just get me to a hospital," she demands.

Spot sends one of his newsies to inform Race before they head off to the hospital.

....

Race waits impatiently for Spot to tell him what's going on at the hospital. He paces back and forth after coming as quickly as he could once he received the message.

After a couple hours, Spot came out.

"How's Tora? How's da baby?" Race asks as soon as he saw Spot.

"Tora's tired an' dey ah poifect," Spot informs Race.

"Dey?" Race inquires as he follows Spot to them, but he is answered when he sees a little boy and a little girl. Race looks up at Tora to see her smiling down at the little bundles cradled in her arms.

"Want to hold them?" she questions before he nods. She hands over the little boy, keeping the little girl in her arms.

"Did ya name 'em?" Race asks.

"Not yet, but I was thinking Ryan for her and Coby for him," she replies looing up at him for a reaction.

"I like 'em," he responds. "Ya did great, Tora," he compliments giving Tora a peck on the lips. "Dey're so tiny," he smiles stroking Coby's forehead as she agrees smiling at their little family.

"I love you," she says looking up at him.

"I love you, too," he replies before taking a shaky breath.

"Are you okay?" she questions hearing his deep breaths and hands Coby over to Spot.

"Bettah den okay. Ya know I love ya, and I love Coby and Ryan just as much. I want ta spend da rest of my life wit ya and maybe even have moah kids, so Tora Conlon, will ya marry me?" he proposes kneeling down on one knee.

"Of course," she replies becoming teary-eyed. Race stood back up, giving Tora a passionate kiss on the lips before they both pulled away.

"Did you know about this?" she looks over to Spot and he nods.

"He asked me a couple weeks ago ta take ya hand in marriage," Spot explains with a small smile. "I'm happy foah ya, lightenin'," Spot admits. It meant a lot to Tora that Race even asked Spot. Her parents not be alive, but her brother has always been there to take care for her.

"Thank you, for taking care of me," she tells Spot trying not to cry.

"Always," he gave his little sister a hug as best as he could since she was sitting. She looked down at her little baby girl, giving her a kiss on the forehead. She smiled as Ryan opened her eyes before closing them again, and she couldn't have been more happy.

1 Year Later

The little one year olds crawl across the wooden floor as Tora began preparing dinner before Race comes through the door. She looks up from where she was in the kitchen seeing Race close the door and continue through their apartment.

After the babies were born, Race and Tora were able to save up enough money for the four of them to move into an apartment. The apartment wasn't huge and the building wasn't perfect, but it's a place where their kids to grow until they could afford a better apartment for them.

"Hey," Tora greets her husband as he wraps his arms around her waist from behind, giving her a quick kiss on her temple.

"Hey," he replies pulling away and walking to Coby and Ryan.

The adorable little one year olds were growing bigger than Tora and Race were anticipating. Coby was almost the spitting image of Spot with his icy blue eyes and some sandy brown hairs on top of his head. Ryan had Race's brown eyes and was beginning to look like Tora and Spot's mother.

"How was work?" Tora starts the conversation as she begins to set the table. Since the kids were born, Race decided to get a new job and a better paying one. Although he stopped being a newsie, he still kept in touch with the boys.

"Alright," Race replies placing Ryan and Coby down in their seats before helping her. "How were da kids?" Race ask back as they both sit down to enjoy another meal at their table with their own little family in their apartment happy as can be.
