I was sitting next to Mush at the park. We have been dating for about a month now, but lately I haven't been feeling the same about him. And he seems to notice. He said he needed to talk to me and that it was urgent.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I asked him. He looked at his hands then back up a me.

"Listen, Olivia, I like ya. I really do." he says. "I want ya ta want me ta stay, but if ya don't, please let me go." he looked up at me with his eyes brimming with tears.

"I don't- I don't know." I said slowly becoming confused with my own feelings. He put his hand over my own. I want this to last. I want us to last.

"Den let me go," he said before a silent tear slid down his face. Tears slipped out of my own eyes as he began to leave. My heart broke in half watchng him walk away. No, I'm not letting him leave. I want him to stay. I need him to stay.

"Wait, Mush," I start. He turns back around and I walk  towards him. I walk up to him and kiss him on the lips. He kisses me back. After a few moments I pulled away. "I need you to stay," I told him. He wraps his arms around me and I do the same.

"I love ya," he says for the first time. I smile to myself.

"I love you too," I tell him wihout a doubt in my mind.
