By entering the WATTPAD SWEET 16 GIVEAWAY (the "Giveaway"), entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Giveaway are final. The information you provide will only be used to administer the Giveaway in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to the Sponsor.

1. GIVEAWAY PERIOD: This Giveaway is governed by these official rules (the "Official Rules"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. The Giveaway is sponsored by Wattpad Corp. (the "Sponsor"). The Giveaway starts at 9:00:00 am EST on November 30, 2022 and closes at 11:59:59 pm EST on November 30, 2022 (the "Giveaway Period").

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Giveaway is open to entrants from Canada (excluding Quebec), the U.S. and worldwide, subject to applicable laws in any jurisdiction who are thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants who are less than the age of majority in their country/state/province of primary residence (a "Minor") must have a parent/legal guardian's permission to enter. Employees of the Sponsor its affiliated partners, agents, distributors, its advertising or promotional agencies or members of any such employee's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom such employees reside (whether related or not) are ineligible to enter or win. "Immediate family" includes spouses or domestic partners and parents, siblings, children and their spouses and domestic partners.

3. HOW TO ENTER: Wattpad will post an announcement about the THE WATTPAD SWEET 16 GIVEAWAY on Instagram. Submit your comment about your favourite Wattpad story of all time in the comments section of Wattpad's Giveaway post on Instagram.

4. ENTRIES: Each comment in the comments section of Wattpad's Giveaway post on Instagram shall herein be individually referred to as an "Entry" and collectively as "Entries"). There is a limit of one Entry per Wattpad username and associated email address. Any person who is found to have entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Official Rules will be disqualified. Proof of transmission (screenshots or captures, etc.) does not constitute proof of delivery. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. The Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost, illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete Entries, which will be void. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm EST on November 30, 2022 (the "Giveaway End Date"). Any Entries that do not satisfy the requirements set out in these Official Rules will be ineligible for entry into the Giveaway. By entering the Giveaway you affirm that you have read, understand and agree to the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prizes (see rule 6) as awarded, without substitution, and are releasing the Sponsor, its dealers, agents, affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Releasees") from any liability in connection with the Prizes or this Giveaway.

5. PRIZES: There are a total of sixteen (16) prizes available to be won (each a "Prize" and collectively known as the "Prizes"). Prizes consists of the following:

• 1 x Grand Prize of 1,600 coins (approx. $96.66 USD value per prize)

• 15 Secondary Prizes x 160 coins (approx. $9.67 USD value per prize)

The Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution, are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Prize or any component of a Prize cannot be awarded as described, or becomes unavailable for any reason, to substitute another similar Prize.

6. WINNER SELECTION: The first Entry will be eligible to win the Grand Prize and the next fifteen (15) Entries will each be eligible to win a Secondary Prize.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each selected entrant will be contacted by direct message on Instagram by December 2, 2022 (the "Notification"). For any selected entrant to be declared a Prize winner, the selected entrant must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question. If a selected entrant (a) cannot be reached by direct message within one (1) business day of Notification; or (b) fails to correctly answer the skill testing question; then such entrant may be disqualified and another entrant will be selected until such time as contact is made with a selected entrant or there are no more eligible Entries or by December 10, 2022, whichever comes first. Upon receipt of the skill testing question correctly answered, the Prize will be shipped to the winner within thirty (30) days through their Wattpad wallet associated with their Wattpad account (digital prize).

8. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

(a) By entering the Giveaway, entrants (and, in the case of a minor entrant, such minor entrant's parent/legal guardian on their behalf) (i) acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, made in its sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Giveaway. Entrants who have not complied with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification.

(b) Each Prize winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the Prizes. Each potential winner (and, in the case of a minor entrant, such minor entrant's parent/legal guardian on their behalf) may be required to execute a Declaration of Eligibility and Release, by email ("Release"). If a potential winner fails or refuses to acknowledge and return the Release in accordance with these Official Rules or any provided instructions, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

9. RIGHT TO VOID / TERMINATE / SUSPEND / MODIFY. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or modify this Giveaway, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation if, in Sponsor's sole discretion, any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if the Giveaway, or any part thereof, is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures, which, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, void any suspect entries and: (a) terminate the Giveaway, or any portion thereof; (b) modify or suspend the Giveaway or any portion thereof, to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway, or relevant portion, in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (c) award the prizes from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment in accordance with the winner selection criteria discussed above. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Giveaway, violates the Official Rules, or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

10. RELEASE / LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: ENTRANTS HEREBY HOLD THE RELEASEES HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE ENTRY(IES) OR ENTRANTS' PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY OR FALSE ENDORSEMENT. RELEASEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, DAMAGED, MISDIRECTED, ILLEGIBLE, INCOMPLETE, DELAYED, INACCURATE, GARBLED, STOLEN OR MUTILATED ENTRIES, OR FOR ANY COMPUTER, ONLINE, TELEPHONE OR TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS, DELAYS OR HUMAN ERRORS THAT OCCUR IN THE PROCESSING, TRANSMISSION OR RECEIPT OF ENTRIES, OR FOR INACCURATE TRANSCRIPTION OF ENTRY INFORMATION, OR FOR ENTRIES THAT ARE STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, GARBLED, LOST OR DELAYED BY COMPUTER TRANSMISSIONS, OR IF, FOR ANY REASON, THE CONTEST IS NOT CAPABLE OF BEING CONDUCTED AS PLANNED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INFECTION BY COMPUTER VIRUSES, BUGS, TAMPERING, UNAUTHORIZED INTERVENTION, FRAUD, TECHNICAL FAILURES, OR OTHER CAUSES. RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCORRECT OR INACCURATE ENTRY INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY INTERNET USERS OR BY ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE CONTEST OR BY ANY TECHNICAL OR HUMAN ERROR THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE PROCESSING OF THE ENTRIES IN THE GIVEAWAY.

11. GENERAL:

(a) The Releasees do not assume any responsibility for (i) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of Entry information and Entries that fail to comply with these Official Rules; (ii) any loss, damage, or claims caused by an awarded Prize or the Giveaway itself; or (iii) any failure of the Giveaway post on Instagram including any problems, human or technical, printing errors, lost, delayed, garbled data or transmissions, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or failures of any telephone or computer lines, or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading any material connected to the Giveaway, all of which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Giveaway. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void.

(b) By entering and/or accepting a Prize, each winner (and, in the case of a minor winner, each minor winner's parent/legal guardian on their behalf) consents to the use of entrant's name, address (city and state or province/territory) and/or photograph without further compensation, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this Giveaway, except to the extent prohibited by law.

(c) By entering and/or accepting a Prize, entrants agree that the Giveaway shall be construed in accordance with the governing laws and jurisdiction of Ontario, Canada, excluding its conflict of law rules.

(d) All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, territorial and local laws.

12. WINNER'S LIST: For the winner's list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by January 16, 2023 to: Wattpad's Survey Sweepstakes, Marketing Department, 36 Wellington St. E, Suite 200, Toronto Ontario, M5E 1C7. The winner's list to be available after December 17, 2022.

13. USE OF DATA: Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor to administer the Giveaway and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Sponsor and its affiliates. By entering the Giveaway, all entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in the Sponsor's privacy policy, which is available at https://policies.wattpad.com/privacy/
