Just a little shocked at what she said. Glaring back at her as she turned away from me and continued to walk. We, continued to was as u scratch my head a little.

"J-just forget I asked. You wouldn't anyways because your too busy trying to solve something you don't even have the right history on. Plus, what does it matter in vampires, age doesn't matter so..." She went on and on but I didn't listen. I was to spaced out to really focus on what she was saying, the only part that got me was the 'history' part. Maybe I don't have enough history... I thought but shook my head as to if history doesn't matter, what matters is my history and how I want it to play out.

"Axel, are you listening to me? Isn't that what your suppose to do when you want to gather information..." She turns to me, her cross on her neck as it shines perfectly with the moon, her thin shirt and over all everything on her was white. Her hair, her eyes her clothing her skin was amazing compared to most vampires, not pale, not even a hint.

"Listen, Caroline. You've been around here for awhile, am I correct? You've done and seen things that I haven't because I'm not a carefree person like you. I need you to give me a few names and background to the guys you've killed, I know there is a link to it and you wouldn't just kill for fun. " I narrowed my eyes as I stepped closer.

Caroline's P.O.V

How did he catch that? I only gave a nod as to it being true.

"How did you guess that all of a sudden?" I asked, staring at him more serious now. Clenching my fist as I thought he might have figured out my secret, the thing I cherished most and the thing that took me to this state.

"I know...you..Caroline..its not like you to change all of a sudden, remember? The first time we met?" I had no idea why he brought this up. Though, I did remember, I remembered everything clearly. He then took my hand as if electro flashbacks or images would flow through me.

Flashback

The door opened as a young male came in. He had no right to be in as it was suppose to be just graviel and tana. The man, Aiden, looks down upon them as graviel was smiling down at the sudden unexpected child. Axel, Caroline, both unexpected from both sides.

"Well well, this is certainly something I figured would happen. " Aiden had spoken up as he smiled, pulling the girl hidden from the door. Her white hair and slightly red eyes caught axels. He made the first approach to her. His fascination showing as everyone watched. Tana stared up at Aiden curiously.

"So you've found someone?" She asked, a slight smile on her face as graviel only watched Axel walk up to Caroline.

"Yeah, she's let's say...mysterious.." Caroline looks up at Aiden as he said that, picking up the label.

"Oh..." She said looking over at Axel now.

"Hi! I'm Axel, or taviel...sometimes." He said in a puppy tone, it being soft and quiet to mostly hit her and no one else.

"So like, taffy?" She giggles and he blushed, not understanding what a taffy was but knowing it sounded kiddish.

"Y-yeah, I suppose." Axel said and both of them smiled big, everyone behind or in front of them was stunned. "You want to play the truth or dare game? I've heard it is fun...but I have no one to play with besides graviel and mom..but they are bad.." He whispered the last part and chuckled as Caroline picked up on it and nods.

"I would love to! Daddy, please?" Caroline looks up at Aiden with her puppy eyes, puppy pout as well. It being weird at first but Axel didn't care because everyone pouts, just maybe everyone does in a high pitch like that?

"Of course, if it is okay with them.." Aiden nods to the couple on the floor, they slowly nod and Caroline cheered.
"Okay, let's play.." She grabs his hand and he followed, tana calling something after then but was to faded out by their movement and the door closing.

"Why didn't we just stay inside?" He looks around, never really being outside but she seemed to have been multiple times.

"Then we could sit here..." She sets them both down on the small hill that was above the fence, so they could look down upon the town by a block.

"Truth or dare...then." Axel spoke up and looks over at her. "Dare.." She replied smiling.

"I dare you to uh...I dare you to..dance silly..?"

"Okay?" She got up and danced, doing one that almost made her slip down the small slide of the hill.

"O-okay, that's funny.." Axel laughed a little and waits for his.

"Truth or date?"

"Dare..."

"I dare you to show me your fangs and hiss...like a real vampire."

"My fangs...i-i don't know.." He opens his mouth and Caroline laughed a little. "A little vampire like you should have bigger fangs, you almost look human."

"I'm a weirdo.." Axel looks down, completely spirit broken as he thought of the other vampires having at least fangs as big as a almost fully grown dog.

"Its okay..well..how about truth now.." She sits back down next to him.

"Is it true...we're going to be stuck here? Forever? Never to see the actual work behind scary walls and the shadows that stalk down at us." Axel said and she looks at him. He had said what she was thinking.

"I don't know, but if so, I want to make the time memorable, worthwhile, fun!"

"What if that means you have to kill someone?"

"I would never kill anyone! That's just cruel,don't you think?"

"Yeah..completely. I am never going to kill anyone! I wouldn't be able to go through with it. Just seeing someone passed out will make me sick. " Axel laughs a little and caroline laughs along.

"For as long as we're friends let's make a oath to never kill..." He had his hand out for her. She quickly took it and nods.

"Never!" They laugh again.

Caroline stood in silence as Axel kept her hand in his. Both of them seeing the same promise they had made back then. Axel holding her hand tightly, just the same as he did.
