Life is pretty normal for Valerie. She attends school like any other teenager and keeps to herself. Life is good...until her mom brings a guest home. Vlad is dark and dangerous and Valerie feels something stir within her at his arrival. Her eighteenth birthday is drawing near and, as it does, so does Vlad. There's something strange about him and the way her mother treats him. As feelings grow and Valerie learns of her mother's past, all hell breaks loose. An old enemy resurfaces and twisted secrets are unveiled. Valerie's life is crumbling and with it, goes her sanity. With no one to rely on, there's no saving Valerie.
