It was already the end of year.

All of my friends have plans for New Year's night while I don't.

Well, both of my parents died in a car crash when I was 8. I stayed with my grandma ever since.
Most of my friends were going on trips, hanging out and going on dates.
I envy them.

Well, my grandma loved to stay at home and sleep so she doesn't have any plans besides sleeping all day.

I have a part time job at a kiosk but it's closed for new year's. I didn't have anything to do.

That night, I checked my phone. Most of my friends were out of town, dating and even some of them went on vacation to another country by themselves!

"Hmmmm....." I sighed.
Well, one of my classmates Kokichi Ouma doesn't seem to have anything else. He doesn't look busy so I texted him.

Me: Hey
Ouma: Hey

I couldn't believe he actually replied!

Me: What are you doing right now?
Ouma: Playing video games on my own.
Me: I hope I am not disturbing you.
Ouma: No. This game is boring anyways.
Me: Oh

We chit-chatted till he.....

Ouma: Hey wanna go out with me?
Me: Where

He is actually asking me out!?

Ouma: Let's meet at Sephora Park tonight!
Me: You mean that park near our school?
Ouma: Yeah. There is people there right now waiting for the fireworks.

I thought about it then said

Me: Yes!
Ouma: Okay! Let's meet!

I got off my bed then went to my closet.
I decided to wear my lavender dress covered with butterflies and a purple necklace.

"I look pretty." I thought about myself.
Then, I exited my home.

Sephora Park

I was at the park waiting for him. There were mostly couples and families at the park. It was nighttime and the sky was clear that you could see a lot of stars.

The park was beside a lake that had some boats. The boats were rode by a lot of couples. I kinda envy them.

After a few minutes, Kokichi came. He wore a black tuxedo with a rose brooch.
I was blushing.

He came up to me and kneel down to me.
I was really blushing but flattered at the same time.

Then, he said.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.
I didn't know what to answer. I don't even have feelings for him. Then I answered,

"Yes."

I didn't know why I even said that.

My mouth made me do it...

Then, he stood up and kissed me. Then, I had a nosebleed.

"Good thing I have a handkerchief with me." he said.

Is he a Doraemon?

I wiped my nose with his handkerchief.

Then, the fireworks were ready.
It was colourful. I felt so happy.

Then, we kissed under the fireworks.
