Three

Jenny brought my up a plate of food but I didn't eat much. My appetite just wasn't the same anymore.

I rolled over to sleep without anyone else coming up for bed yet. All three of my dorm mates were still out. Jenny had left after bringing me a meal, she was going to hang out with our group of friends.

Ever since first year, we've had a set group of friends, that's just how we liked it. Albus, Scorpius, the girls from my dorm; Sophie and Grace and James who was retaking his seventh year. We loved each other like siblings.

I've been avoiding them all since Christmas though, only really seeing them in lessons.

James is captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team. He has been for years. We haven't lost the cup since. James is the most popular boy at Hogwarts. He's the typical funny, cocky, good looking teenage boy all the girls swoon over. He puts on a tough act but he's got the purest heart and is a right softy.

Al is ver similar to James. Also captain on the Slytherin quidditch team, that's always fun. He's harmless. Everyone loves Al but he often falls in James' shadow which is really hard for him.

Jenny is the sweetest person I've ever met, she would do literally anything for anyone. She has a killer figure and hair to die for, not to mention she's dating the James Potter. Every girl in Hogwarts despises Jenny.

Sophie is a bloody incredible quidditch player. She was a chaser for Gryffindor, already being scouted for several of the big teams, James is insanely jealous.

Grace is head girl, she was very popular and dating head boy, Dan. He's a Gryffindor as well, they'd only been dating a few months. Grace has always got on very well with everyone.

And Scorpius.

Scorpius is keeper on the Slytherin team and definitely a ladies man. His white-blonde floppy hair made him irresistible to most of the girls. He's almost as loved as James or Al. We've always had a very good friendship, which definitely strained when I got together with Ash last year.

The next day I slept in, it was Saturday after all, that was until Sophie woke me up with a face of thunder.

"Rose! What the hell! Quidditch practice started an hour ago!" Sophie cried.

"Shit!" I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. This was not good, James was going to kill me, if Sophie didn't get to me first. She was waiting when I rushed out of the bathroom, hurrying to get my quidditch kit and follow her down through the castle and down to the the pitch at a slight trot.

I grasped my broom where someone had propped it and kicked off from the ground, not stopping until I reached the rest of the team who were throwing the quaffle around.

"What time do you all this Rose?!" James shrieked.

"I'm sorry! I slept in!!"

"Sorry?! Come on Rose!" James wined, I knew he would let it go but right now he was pissed.

After that he pretty much dropped it and practice continued. I was so tired, definitely not in the headspace for quidditch but I didn't have a choice.

The Gryffindor team was definitely slightly Weasley heavy. James, Lily, Louis I made up over half of the team. The rest of it consisted of Sophie, one of the fifth year boys, Max, and Ash. That made everything more awkward but we've kinda just learnt to get on with it over the last few weeks.

At the end of practice, James, Sophie and I walked up to the castle together, we were meeting in the great hall for breakfast before heading into Hogsmead.

James slid into the seat next to Jenny and pecked her cheek softly. Jenny smiled and turned to face him. I loved their relationship so much.

Grace and Dan were sat a little way down the table and Sophie was already in conversation was Al, I sat down next to them and picked at the food I'd put on my plate. I noticed Scorpius hadn't graced us with his presence.

Shocker.
