"Your breaking up with me?" Ash's heartbroken eyes stared into mine.

"I'm sorry Ash" I took his hand over the table but he shook me off.

"Whatever Rose, just leave me be" He stood up quickly and ran his hands through his hair before storming from the Leaky Cauldron. I watched him go sadly.

I'd just ended the relationship I've been in over a year because a stupid drunken mistake. I couldn't live with the utter betrayal and disloyalty I'd shown Ash. He didn't deserve that.

I paid the bill for the drinks and left the pub and began the short walk back home.

Tomorrow I was going back to Hogwarts. I'm in my seventh and final year of Hogwarts and had only a few months left as it was Christmas break.

I unlocked the door and shook the snow off my coat, handing it up and heading upstairs. I had some last minute packing to do before getting and early nights sleep. It had been a rough couple of days.

Mum called Hugo and I down for supper, we always eat with the Potters the day before going back to school so they were here too.

Albus grabbed my arm and pulled me into the living room as I walked past. "What the hell happened? You've broken up with Ash? And Scorpius is being weird! What did you do Rose?" Al asked exasperatedly.

"Well, I- er" I stuttered for a few seconds before Al started to get impatient. "I don't owe you an explanation Al! Stay out of it!" I hissed, leaving him dumbfounded alone.

My heart ached. I'd hurt so many people. Everyone close to me was hurting because of my stupid decisions.

On the train back to Hogwarts I sat alone for the first few hours. I wasn't in the mood to talk. That was until James came and sat with me. He was repeating his seventh year as he well and truly messed up last year, mopping around after his messy break up.

"Hey Red" He ginned cheerfully, plonking down opposite me. He clearly hadn't noticed the tension between Al and I last night. Mum certainly had, she'd questioned me about it last night. I hadn't even told her me and Ash broke up, I wasn't going to go spilling all my troubles to her.

"Hi James" I sighed tiredly.

"Whats up? Heard you broke up with Ash? What'd the dickhead do? Do I need to break something?" James asked, dead serious.

"Nothing James! Honestly he didn't do anything wrong! It was all me! I messed up!" I exclaimed.

"Oh shit, what did you do?" James questioned, dropping his voice considerably. He could tell by my tone this was serious.

"I can't say, Jay. I want to but it's not right, no one can know" I shuddered at the thought.

"Damn, it must be bad" James whistled but he didn't say anything more about it and soon left the carriage, seemingly bored of my company.

Next to pay me a visit was non other than Scorpius Malfoy. One I the people I really didn't want to see, maybe even more than Ash.

"Rose..?" He asked quietly and timidly.

"Save it, Sunshine" I shoot back, "Just leave please"

"Fucks sake Rose! Never thought you'd be like this!" Scorpius spat.

"Like what?" I cried.

"A one night stand, a fuck and ignore kind of person!"

"How dare you! Your the one that's ruined my fucking life! I cheated on my boyfriend!"

"I'm sorry! I'll talk to Ash! He's one of my best friends too!"

"Yeah right! Don't pretend you weren't nearly half as drunk as I was! You wanted this!"

"You didn't seem to fight it!" Scorpius smirked.

"Just fuck off!" I screamed.
